If asked who my favourite Moebius or my favourite Ouroborus is, the answer is the same: M/Mio, and it was pretty much entirely from how impressed I was by her gambit at the Eclipse. Fun fact: M is never actual fought. Mio on the other hand is fought twice. M is also the only Moebius to be playable, even if for only 2 battles that you can't fast travel away from. Taking Mio from the very beginning of Chapter 6 while she still has M's armor can cause some very funny cutscenes in various side quests, like Lanz telling a Moebius that she can't trust a Moebius. Lastly: "Miobioborus"
This kind of video is why I am so impressed by your work and why I enjoy it. I, too, had thought that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 implied that M, Nia, and House Vandham were carrying out a very old plan. But I don't think many people have talked about it. And after watching this video, I think we must both have noticed many of the same clues, and I am glad that you are discussing this. (Also, you did good work explaining why Mio suddenly was made an offseer. I had never thought of a good explanation for that, but now, I am certain that your explanation is correct.) Also, when Nia reawakened in the Cloud Keep, she saw Mio and the rest of Ouroboros, but this sight did not seem to surprise her. I think Nia was glad to see that what she had planned (or at least expected) had actually come to pass. She either knew or intended that a new Mio and Noah would appear someday. I think this confirms that when Nia spoke to M one thousand years prior, Nia acted deliberately to put parts of a plan into place, so Ouroboros could free the world a millennium later. And fortunately, M did a great job with her difficult role: keeping the plan on track (in practice) for a thousand years. In summary, I don't find many people talking about the thousand-year plan, so I was excited when you mentioned a few weeks ago that you were making a video about it. And now, I am happy to see that you did this so well, as I expected.
Nia when seeing Mio in chpt 6: "you are... oh that's good, so it worked after all" so yeah, just like riku, she is hidding something!! I hope the M making Mio an off seer is correct, it would add a lot to her. After all, we know how Off seeing and Myabi heavily influenced this iteration of Mio to be more kind and thoughtful about what she is leaving behind and creating memories. Same goes for Noah with Crys (but it was noah's choice after seeing crys play and his sadness. But M worked with a Crys in the past to make a homecoming) (Crys is underrated, he is the first that makes Noah think about if people are truly content in having an expiracy date. Just more flashbacks or screentime as Moebius earlier could have helped)
I had a similar theory too. I theorized M was the master mind behind the whole thing with starting the traditional homecoming tradition with off-seers. She probably had Mio become an off-seer despite her obviously being the best fighter. Crys was probably in on it as well, with M having Crys become Noah's off-seeing mentor. By making Noah and Mio off-seers, they see the value in life and moving on, so they do not repeat the same mistakes of "living in the now." The things that aren't theories is that Nia gave M the key to find Nia and she hid it away from everyone and gave it to Ghondor so she can give it to Noah and Mio. So it was clear she was against Moebius for a long time.

You could say Noah and Mio are mere leftovers from them. I really want to see the events from N and M's povs, esrly Aionios, their first meeting (as in 3 it was kind of a destiny thing) and the beginnings of their relationship. How N found Malos sword. The events that led to N and M to abandon the city and ouroboros, did they feel used/manipulated? They didnt want to destroy Aionios innorder to defeat Moebius? I want to see M slap or punch someone like against OP. I want to see N and M and their imperfections, as XC3 they were literally CHILD soldiers, more innocent and kind. More temperamental and complex on motives. And just like how XC2's Addam design was different (blue eyes and hooded, retconned in Torna) they could give us cool new outfits for N and M in the past, maybe closer to old concept art or jusy recolor with details (I specially want N to have a yellow jacket, Shulk and Rex already are red and blue, and foreshadowing his consul armor color)
