  • Video showing how I create in my Smash Book when I don't have time (or inclination) to play and also when I do. First page is just quick smashing where I talk through the process and second is a longer & more thought through page that I've speeded up and added annotations to. Hope you enjoy, much love Jennibellie x

    Your tutorial is inspirational! We love your techniques and the way you combine the materials for each page/section/project! I, (Lisa) have a basket holding my small scraps to practice placement on pages of the first book. Inside the same basket are painted pages, pva, tacky glue, pencils, advertisements etc. I carry a small journal book and pencils when I go out. I have even managed to sketch buildings and a strip mall! So yes, I do have the bug!!! Thanks! Hugs~Lisa

    Love your thought process with doing a page and all the extra textures that you added to the page. Like your organization to as the pieces you have together-page kits already established I think I'll use that tip it makes total sense to have it prepped to get done faster thanks a bunch

    Hi Jenni!
    I'm a new subbie to your channel and I just wanted to say I am loving watching your videos. I'm a smash booker and want to start mixed media art so your videos are really helping me out. I just wanted to say that I would love to see more smash tutorials from you. This was awesome!

    Hi Serena, thank you so much! I wasn't planning on doing anymore, though I never say never as I go with what my creative instinct wants so it may be something I end up doing so watch this space - in the meantime though the latest vid I've uploaded (20 layers are journal page) might be good for you if you want to get into mixed media - it's quite a smashy style page with many different medias used so a combie of the two things youre interested in really. Many thanks Jennibellie x

    don't rush yourself or put too much pressure on yourself. Remember you don't have to show anyone what you do, this is just for you and to help get your feelings out so don't add extra stress; it's supposed to be a help for you, not the reverse much love :) xxx

  • @jennibellie

    Yeah I think we all find that when we start something different from what we usually do. How about just grabbing all of the things you want to incorporate into your page and not allowing yourself to use anything else? Taking away distractions/too many options might keep you focused & take away the worrying of thinking about it too much? Thanks for commenting :)

    Hi Suzanne, I don't know the exact name of the punch but it's by Anna Griffin & it's a tab punch (as it's a four in one punch you get more choice but they're smaller in size that a 'usual' punch tab). I got it off of QVC I believe for about £16 or so, much love xxx

    You're welcome, glad it was helpful...don't get me wrong the thing I love most about Smashbooking is that you DONT have to do the whole pretty thing. I much prefer just grabbing the glue stick and getting going most of the time x

    Lol and you're going to be on a slippery slope now mwahhh haa haaaaaa hehe and you'll carry nothing at all but a handmade journal and art kit :) I even made a handbag journal out of cereal boxes and old scraps last year, to cut down on the carrying, it even had a pen loop lol not sure I've shown it on here yet but probably will once it's done for a flip, much love xxxx

    Too bad the original fish page was not strong enough for the pisces / birthday stuff! Not because I don't love your finished page because I do...because of the fish theme.

    Hi Jennie! Again, what beautiful work, and I love everything you smash, love your thought process. Would you ever consider doing a swap with me?! I could send you lots of smash goodies from the U.S., things you could use in your junk journals, etc. what do you think?

  • @jennibellie
    @jennibellie  12 років тому

    No I didn't lol I could never call a guy that did that. It was cute putting the heart on & everything but I don't believe it was a calling - he didn't say one word to me....like even his name lol it's like when guys whistle at you in the street and expect you to stop and talk to them....it just makes me walk faster! I just like a guy to at least say 'hi, my name is x' I'm kinda old fashioned that way haha xx
