I can’t believe how big Dutch barges are......wow and this one is pure luxury. I can’t wait to see what adventures you get up to when you buy one😁 xoxo
Hi Emily, Some are even bigger, we are going at the most uptown 62ft long, want to take it on the Leeds Liverpool canal, great to hear from you, Sarah will give you a call, lots of love Tony Sarah x
Watching with enjoyment and do so appreciate you taking my wife and I along on your adventure. Wish you a very Merry Christmas and hope to see more of you in the coming year.
Thank You Walker, hopefully our adventure will come true in the new year, We also wish u a merry Christmas too, hope you have a better year in 2021, Kind Regards Sarah Tony x
Really enjoyed the vids. I have the EXACT fantasy that I’d like to make reality. Are you planning to go to France? Cross the channel in your new barge? Very interested in how that unfolds!
Ben, our plan is to go over to Europe and take you with us, we are in the process of making ready our boat, firstly get solar, then other off grid equipment, we need to understand the boat before setting sail , it’s going to be a blast 💥, thanks for your comment, regards Tony Sarah x
I was wondering 💭 how close you two are to making a decision about the boat you will be buying? I’m super excited because most Vlogs are about narrowboats! I’m looking forward to your adventures!
We keep getting delayed with all these lock downs, so our decision process is on hold, however rest assured it will be as soon as possible, thanks for you comment Tony Sarah x
Thanks for your comment, since buying our barge we’ve been so busy, life gets in the way , we will be releasing a catch up vlog soon, and we are all well , thanks for asking
Can i referance Bluewater barges ( NIKKI on the DBA website) and the blog for WANDERLUST a PIPER who had real problems with paintwork with Wanderlust having many other problems also in fact making it a lottery on purchasing a new product, I have come to the conclusion if you own a barge you must be good with your hands and also have a good tool range.AQUALINE have also had paintwork problems in the past but apart from a leaky dog box the craft looked good, the only letdown for fulltimeliving was cabin fever in that small saloon in the winter months and single glazing in the wheelhouse ( you never showed the freezer ? ) My own barge if and when I jump in would be similar a berth each end king beds a must im over 6ft, im also looking for a long saloon with the extra derv heater so my conclusion is its going to be 65ft or a 70ft , pipers make a 14ft 9 width thats a good advantage the Aqualine is 12ft 6. Another thing to think about if using on the rivers in europe is a uprated engine 150 / 170 to make progress a lot of standard barges are very underpowered for anything other than still waters on a canal. research the makers well Pipers do not use a shot blaster they dont own one, Bluewaters do have a shot blaster , as do Nicholls barges, Aqualine im not sure. On the resale values PIPERS seem to win overall and also sell faster. Having looked on the used market for quite a while now im thinking new PIPER and as long as possable but with less bells and whistles to go wrong. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR QUEST.
Guys loving your adventures, would love to email you a few questions ericmckenzie44@gmail.com... pipers are beautiful boats, new value huge, second hand value half the price, so plenty of spare money for remedial work or upgrades.
Hi Eric, Just like cars, love to buy new, however the depreciation would make me cry, thanks for subscribing, you can email us, on noblechatterbox@gmail.com, thanks for your comment, Regards Tony Sarah
I adore Dutch Barges.

Can you guys include some footage of the mechanicals, engine room etc? Good videos, thank you!
Thanks for your comment Mike, will do, shall show you a detailed survey soon , thanks again Tony Sarah x
Good video apart from the music over your talking about the boat
Interesting video, apart from the music in the saloon making it difficult to hear what they were saying?
