    As Turks all over the world celebrate the founding of the Republic of Türkiye exactly 100 years later, on 29 October 2023, it is of course important to know where the name "Turk" derived from, who the first people to call themselves "Turks" were, how they lived, what they believed in and how they fought for their freedom. For this reason, I have published a documentary on the Göktürks on this exact date.
    The documentary features high quality original footage from Mongolia and the Altai Mountains, home of the Ashina tribe of the Göktürks, as well as historical reenactments in the form of many AI-assisted images. The soundtrack is also, for the first time, distinctly old Turkic in nature.
    THE CELESTIAL TURKS - which is also the name of the upcoming book - is the result of many years of research and theories of my own, and is also in a way the product of almost four years of this channel. The journey of the Göktürks has just begun in this series, but for me personally, it has culminated.
    So for those who have followed me from the beginning, and to those who recently joined KHAN's DEN, I say: thank you for your support, and enjoy this banger.

      Our ancestors are from North Asia, Siberia, the Caucasus and Anatolia. The history made up by the West and China is not our history. We must return to Ataturk's historical consciousness and start working together with the Etruscans and İiskit. Now, developments in technology support the theses of Atatürk and Lazım Mirşan.

      @@tekincagman4296 According to Canadian scholar Joo-Yup Lee, it is possible that the Ashina tribe belonged to the paternal haplogroup R1a1.
      The reasoning for this assumption is that the Ashina tribe was said to be closely related to the Yenisei Kirghiz people, and also to the Iranian Saka. The modern-day descendants of the Yenisei Kirghiz, the Kyrgyz people, have one of the highest frequencies of haplogroup R1a-Z93. This lineage is associated with Indo-Iranians who migrated to the Altai region in the Bronze Age, and is carried by various Türkic groups.
      American historian Peter Golden has reported that genetic testing of the proposed descendants of the Ashina tribe does seem to confirm a link to the Indo-Iranians, emphasizing that "the Turks as a whole ‘were made up of heterogeneous and somatically dissimilar populations'".The paternal haplogroup identified in the proposed descendants of the Ashina was R1a-Z2124, the so-called "Pashtun cluster".

      Golden, H. W. Haussig, S. G. Klyashtorny, Carter V. Findley,D. G. Savinov, B. A. Muratov,S. P. Guschin, and András Róna-Tas have posited that the term Ashina is from the Iranian Saka or possibly from the Wusun.
      possibly from the Wusun.[38]
      Carter V. Findley assumes that the name "Ashina" comes from one of the Saka languages of central Asia and means "blue" (which translates to Proto-Turkic *kȫk, whence Old Turkic kök, and same in all Modern Turkic languages). The color blue is identified with the east, so that Göktürk, another name for the Turkic empire, meant the "Turks of the East"; meanwhile, Peter Benjamin Golden favours a more limited denotation of Göktürks as denoting only the Eastern Turks. This idea is seconded by Hungarian researcher András Róna-Tas, who finds it plausible "that we are dealing with a royal family and clan of Saka origin". Findley also said that the term böri, used to identify the ruler's retinue as 'wolves', probably also derived from one of the Iranian language

    From this channel we are waiting for another story about the Turkic Empire of the Khorezmshahs.Initially, the Khorezmshah dynasty began its career from slavery, and their last descendant Saifutdin Kutuz was the son of the sister of Sultan Jalal ad Dina, after the death of Jalal ad Dina, Sayfutdin Kutuz was captured and as a child was sold into slavery to the Mamluks and the boy rose from slavery to chaptersMamluk states and defeated the Mongols at the Battle of Ain Jalut. A very interesting dynasty with a tragic fate.
    By the way, another daughter from this dynasty will be captured in the hands of the Mongols and the Mongols give this girl as a dear gift to the Khan of the Golden Horde and from her a boy is born with the name Giyosiddin Muhammad (Uzbekhan) and when this boy comes to power the Golden Horde, he will Golden Horde Islamicstates.

    Imagine there was an ERROR to the time line of about1000 years: it would link the ROURAN to the ROMAN, explaining the she wolf myth resemblance, also the lamellar body armor has striking similarities, it might even explain the tradition of clean shaving of Romans.
    Not that the Apennine Peninsulas population or culture was turkic but the ruling elite might be of far east origin.
    - so how was the dating done? Could there be a mistake, is it just coincidence, was there an other event 1000 years before which can explain the resemblance? Why do resemblances of Tengrism exist with the Edda or Zeus, has the Töra something to do with the Tora, and if so which one is older? Does "el" just translate to "to create"?
    Might there be a proto-tengric influence to the mesepotamian and mediterranian or is it more likely the other way around? How far back can we travel as we know that language and religion can be resistant to fast changes and might date far back or be confused all together, so how likely is it to find material evidences?

    • @welcometomybubble1597
      @welcometomybubble1597 2 місяці тому

      on the other hand Rouran translates to Worm/Dragon and could just mean an army traveling. (A sight that was often associated to dragon, snake or worm) So likely there is NO Error in dating, just something older. This might explain it even better.

    The meaning of "Ashina" is the color "blue" in Mesopotamian ancient languages and oldest turcic origin people languages. It is the name given to the blue-eyed goat by the early Turks. Later, the first Turkish families referred to themselves as "mountain goat" families. Ashina is defined as divine, meaning "blue-eyed goat". The meanings of Ashina, Amulet(Nazar) - Evil Eye bead and "blue-eyed mountain goat" are interconnected. Since the Turks carried out night raids on the Chinese, "Ashina-Mountain Goat" was defined as the symbol of darkness and evil for the Chinese. The Pentagram also emerged from this definition and passed to the first religions from Shamanism.
    "Gok" does not mean "sky" and "celestial" in Turkish, it means "sky" is blue. Gok means sky as it looks blue above-celestial. In some Turkic tribes, Gok means both "blue and green". Some Turkic tribes say Turquoise green, which means green. It is between blue and green. The meaning of Gok-Turk is "Blue- Turk". Gök-Turk=Ashina-Turk. "GokTengri" is the name of the "Mountain Goat", which means "Blue God".
    Amulet-Nazar is known as the eye of the Gok-Tengri in Turks, it is said that the eye of the sky god will rest on you and protect you from bad things and the amulet-nazar is placed. It is actually the eye of the mountain goat.

    I understand that the Mongols are relatives of the Turks. But calling SHYNGYSKHAN a Mongol is disrespectful to history. The term "Mongol" was also coined under the USSR.
    After all, this story was invented under the USSR by anti-Turkic scientists.Did the small forest tribes conquer the support of nomadic warriors on horses and in heavy iron armor, forcing many Chinese armies to run with flashing heels?

    • @KhansDen
      @KhansDen  9 місяців тому +1

      That is not true. The term Mongol first appeared in a Chinese source in the 8th century and later resurfaced during the 11th century, concerning the Khitan people. The Turks also called the Mongol Empire "Mongol Ulus" during the 13th century. That was seven centuries before the USSR was even established. The term Mongol was used so much that Arabs and Persians referred to Babur's Empire in India as "Moghul" because they thought of him as a Mongol ruler - which he was not. So, this term has been in use for a very long time. It appeared much later than the term Türk. But it was not "made up" in the 20th century.
      Secondly, the Turkic portion within the Mongol army and the fact that Genghis Khan conquered certain Turkic tribes before being able to go on his world conquest tour is not negated in this video. However, this story is also completely different from the Gök Türks, so I see no reason to discuss it further. Perhaps it would be wise to approach the topic in a separate video.

    • @KhansDen
      @KhansDen  9 місяців тому +1

      The non-historical parts were put into the video to illustrate how vastly different the old Türks‘ culture was in contrast to what precisely those viewers who have little knowledge about them might think, taking into account the cliches about Turks, Mongols and steppe people in general that they may be loaded with when arriving here. Nonetheless, I appreciate your feedback. Rest assured that in the next episode - due Friday 15.12. - actual geopolitics, conflicts and diplomacy will be the focus.

    Many lies in this story regarding the origin of Bulgarians. Before even the Christianity became official religion of the Rom/ East Rom empire in 4th century, Bulgarians 9with one of his name Trachea's) have been already for thousands of years on the Balkans, have had a state, and after the Orpheism smoothly have been already accepted the old Orthodox Christianity (the baptizing act is different from today and the understanding for the one and indivisible holy trinity is from the created by God man and woman and their child) and their noble representatives have been visited by emperor Konstantin when the last have been traveling trough the Balkans and when the Konstantin himself still hasn't been baptized in old Orthodox Christianity. It's still unexplained why part of the Bulgarian people went to Indian semi-island a few thousands years b.c., known there as Aryans, for which all literate Indian people know and describe them as tall, withe skinned, brown till red or dark blond hair and mostly blue eyed. It's a rude lie and manipulation to present old Bulgarians as Turk-mongolian tribes though in 5th-6th century some of Bulgarian tribes still have been in Euro-Asia on their trip back to the father land on The Balkans.
