I swear to god this is the most obnoxiously wide toolbox in the game. Like it feels like this deck can do everything short of giving me a handy under the table during the game. It’s absolutely nuts.
At this point I see Tear as the combo equivalent of the Runic engine. Both play 18-20 cards that are good on their own and support the other part of the deck to achieve their game plan (in this case turbo out beatrice and go for protos/colossus with Toad on the field, then backing it up with sulliek, kaleido and perlerino). It also helps that Tear can make use of over 20 years of GY related card design. If a card is Dark, an Aqua, has a GY effect or even better all of the above, you can just slot them into your Tear deck and mill away

It's an absolute monster of an archetype that forced konami to ban and limit the majority of their cards. The height of tearlaments far eclipsed Branded at its peak by a long shot.
I don't think it's about BS because Decks' resiliency is not based only on their strength; if people didn't genuinely enjoy playing tear, they wouldn't try to force it into every format like they have been. Take snake eyes last format, far and away the best deck, yet it wasn't a T0 format simply because people couldn't afford to play it. A deck's representation is indeed tied to how strong it is, but that is only one of many factors. Tear is just fun to play... when it isnt trying to make use of floodgates like this version of the deck. Kinda like Strikers. People love that deck and it's fun and interactive... but sometimes it ends up abusing something it shouldn't (Mystic Mine)

Wait where is Banshee. Thats the ENTIRE reason to run Nemesis Flag Combo. Protos is a Rank 4 + Tearkash/banished monster. There seems to be stuff missin here
Ive said this countless times, why would they not just ban Corridor so Colossus isnt splashed into other decks, he couldve came off infinitely sooner if.
If u play that 2 nemeses cards then play internal banshee with it 2 lv 4 and u can search nemeses flag and by extention corridor and protoss Dont just play 2 brick like this in an already-bricky AF deck
