- Couldn't believe my luck when I found this piano at Prague airport! I'd been looking for Street pianos for 3 days.......check out "Comptine d'un Autre Été" and "Requiem for a Dream" on my channel.
Hey guys, thought I'd comment on my most popular video to inform all of you. I haven't posted much recently for mainly 2 reasons: 1) I've been having some private issues and difficulties 2) I am learning very ambitious pieces! These pieces are taking a very long time to learn and perfect. Between these, you can expect Etude Op.10 No.12 in C minor, Sonata Op.25 No.2 in Bb Minor 3rd Mvt and possibly some other Chopin pieces. I am also on an ambitious journey to learn the Hungarian Rhapsody No.2. But that last piece may take some time. :)
EDIT: I am also going to change my channel name to just "MGPiano" because I won't just be playing piano covers.
With that sort of talent it would be silly not to give it your all, absolutely amazing keep up the good work
Ohh so this is your video ? I saw someone else’s channel with this video but the beginning and end were cut. Welp I wasted my speech on their comment section. XD I play piano too It’s one of my favorite instruments to play. I love your work it definitely does take a long time to memorize a piece, but the final results are worth it. Sounds beautiful even if there are a couple mistakes it still leaves people breathless! :)

I hate everyone going on here and criticizing this guy. Literally he did amazing. He's a young learner. I love this song. A few errors happen all the time. It's just natural.

A few errors? One of the errors lasted the entire video, he never released the pedal lol.
I mean, it's good he's out early and learning, but I don't see why people can't criticize him for some basic mistakes as pedal, tempo and rythm.
I'm probably biased since I always try to perfect a song in private before even thinking of playing it in public. Watch Ian Flemming's piano cover of the song and you'll see the major difference between these two.
Edit: Also, "literally" he didn't do amazing. He did okay for a beginner + young age
Chronos .. agreed, but u know very well that he will get these things right in no time. (well pedaling atleast. tempo and rythm are things which some dont get right in like ever..)

Yes he killed a master piece, literally, but with a right kind of guidance he can master it, he took too fast and sometimes completely wrong sync with left and right hands, two step ahead and two step behind the real composer (Einaudi). I spend $3k on digital piano only to play this masterpiece and it breaks my heart when someone breaks the law of the world that Ludovico Einaudi has told to this world. Still I have big hopes for this kid and I would say that "I am proud of him" if I were there when he plays it (it takes courage to play in front a crowed place).

I FINALLY LEARNED THIS SONG AFTER A WEEK OF PLAYING IT NON STOP! He did a wonderful job, and I definitely would have enjoyed it even more if I could have been there in person to watch !

What I find cool about every piano music I hear is that whoever is playing it will add their own rhythm to it and make it as their own with kinda of a backstory to it. I myself which is a piano player feel like this too whenever I play, but I know that sometimes when you don't follow the rhythm of the original piece then your music can get out of hand and not sound like it's supposed to. My point is that people are ALL different and I find it AWSOME to see people play their own style and can still make beautiful 🎶 music!!! (Sorry this was long but I wanted to state my opinion)

Most of people criticizing the kid will never have almost two million people listening their songs. It's very nice to see the reactions of people staying around. This moment struck all of them, and the smile of the eastern girl (probably his mother) is beautiful to see… and the best of all is that this amazing moment happened right next to the Porto Cafe Restaurant at the Prague Airport (and I have already been there).

This is the 'tube that got me interested in piano. Over 2.5 years ago. I listened to this kid over and over again. Then by coincidence (fate?) I stumbled across a keyboard in the thrift shop for $100- bought it on the spot. Then I found Marks Piano tutorial of Nuvole and self taught. My first piece. Took a couple of months. Now I'm a decent intermediate player and am learning sheets. All thanks to this kid.

You are just fine.. timing and other things will let ya to be a copy of the original player .. BE YOUR SELF.
constructive criticism should always be taken into account.
Uh very true but.. Lack of timing doesn't mean that your "original"... It just means that you need a little more practice on playing the song.. If you think about it when RECITING a song, the goal is to play a copy of it.. The periods where he played a bit faster than normal, you could tell where clearly errors and I think, for him taking note of that will help him get better.. Not by saying it was original.. Because that would lead to not taking constructive criticism in the future.
He is playing without sheet notes the way it should be played. An awesome job. Mr. Einaudi would be proud to hear this performance. Don't ever stop playing!

I notice every player has their own personal rhythm with this song. It’s whatever sounds the best to the player. I prefer to play certain parts of this songs very fast too.
