    After a long time, I had the chance to play a Public Piano. This time, in a closed space. Pelerin Restaurant in Piatra Neamt, Romania, was an amazing place with an amazing food and service. I was so happy playing their piano. We'll definitely go back there soon!
    Song: Ludovico Einaudi - Nuvole Bianche
    Many thanks to Crii, a beautiful stranger who filmed this for me!

      That moment came after about 2 bottles of wine and considering that I've been only playing piano for a bit over 2 years, everything learnt from UA-cam, and haven't played this song for a few months, I have to admit that I was a little bit nervous. However, everything went good and I was able to capture 3 videos from that day. I do not play very often, as my occupation is being a bartender but still, I can't wait for the public pianos to reopen in London 😁

      @@AndreiPiano You did good. I've been playing this song for about 10 years and i know from experience that the transition at around 2:44 is the most difficult part of playing this song. Also the variation played at around 2:50 is also very difficult. And you nailed both of them! It's so easy to accidently play a wrong note at those sections. But you didn't.
      Like i said i've been playing this song for around 10 years so i know this wasn't a perfect performance - but it's obvious that it wouldn't be after such a short time playing and some "Dutch courage" inside you, lol. But (apart from the intro) you played all of the correct notes. The only thing that stopped it being a perfect performance was timing. But it was an unfamiliar, public piano, played in front of strangers. Overall, considering all of the circumstances, i'd say it was a great performance and you should be very pleased with yourself.
      Did you feel slightly relieved when you finished knowing that you didn't hit any wrong notes? lol. So many times i've finished playing/performing a song in public and thought "i'm glad that's over and i didn't play a wrong note"! lol.

Surprisingly there were only about 10 people at the bar. They were already playing when we walked in. We sat in a booth and I just soaked up the music. If my husband didn’t have to go to work early in the morning, we would have stayed for the second set. It was an experience I hopefully will never forget. This man played the piano beautifully. • @williamhu9567
      @williamhu9567 Рік тому +1

      @@psyismylife i guess that makes sense. it’s not like complexity is the deciding factor in what makes music “musical.” I think repetition is important for listeners because it gives them something to hold onto and provides a sense of familiarity and foundation. repetition can be boring if overused though, and can lead to blandness. why i think having at least some complexity is good is cause complexity provides more fullness, richness and movement to a piece.
      Einaudi does develop the right hand somewhat, which is nice. I think what makes his music enjoyable even with a lack of feel for movement is just that: not moving. He kinda makes you feel like you’re on a cloud, floating along slowly. I kinda like it but i get bored of sitting on a cloud for really long, if you get what i mean. It’s really dreamy, and that’s cool. I tend to enjoy songs that are dreamy but have parts with other emotions that lead up to a soaring sensation. Contrast is one of many things that make music interesting. But that’s just me. I rate him a good/10

    I have seen Enaudi playing it during a concert in Zürich. The piece makes you go out from wherever you are as long as you can hear it, you are in the piece

    there is nothing more relaxing than listen to someone play an instrument such as the piano in a restaurant. good vibes especially if it's just a random person
