Hello everyone, my name is Susan. Back in Feb of 2009 I was diagnosed with HER2+ Stage 3A breast cancer. I had a total left side mastectomy with lymph nodes removed under arm pit. I also had reconstructive surgery where they inserted an expander for 9mths. I had chemo and radiation. The expander was uncomfortable and after 9mths they put the prostheses in and unfortunately it failed and incision opened. I was on Herceptin for 1 yr. I still alive and kickin!

I need to add that after each chemo treatment, I would go back the next day for a Neulasta shot. This keeps you from getting sick by keep your white blood cells elevated. I worked full time during all this. I also took care of my husband who was a stroke survivor. God gave the strength I needed to handle all this. When I look back on these years I just keep saying God thank you for all you've done for me. Stay strong ladies. Your not alone!!🙏❤

Also it can pop up after all of that into the other breast, ovaries or womb, so let's remove them all just in case. And this is not a joke, my oncologist indeed suggested on me to remove my other breast, my ovaries and my womb too - just in case! How about killing myself then that time definitely cancer will never reoccure!

I am 67. I have heard horrible things about hormone therapy. Some women report joint pain so severe they can't stay in one position for 20 minutes, and this goes on for up to 10 years. If they try to quit the therapy, doctors put them on different meds that are no better. At my age, that would mean I would be in debilitating pain for the rest of my life. If I were younger or had a family, I would feel differently. But I don't care to make my life horrible simply to prolong it. I MIGHT do chemo if I can do it orally, but I doubt I will even try hormone therapy.

My mother is sick with breast cancer, and I cannot afford the treatment expenses. I was also sick before her with social phobia and depression, and my psychological condition became difficult to the stage of thinking about suicide. I endured my illness for 15 years, but the mother came all my life in the world 😭, because she sacrificed for me from a young age. My father died in 1994, and she did not get married for me, even if she was young. We live in North Africa, with very severe difficulties, with difficult living and high prices. I feel that I am close to madness. I see my mother in front of me and I cannot do anything for her as I did. I hope To find a kind heart ❤ here,

My cancer is ER+, PR+, HER2- 8.5 cm and 3.5 cm invasive lobular carcinoma of the left breast. After 3 months taking Lexotrole, had a bilateral mastectomy with 16 lymph nodes removed due to positive nodes in breast and under the armpit. Had expanders and having those removed and implants put in in 5 weeks🤗. Did 8 weeks of radiation 6 weeks after mastectomy. Still on Lexotrole. So my risk of reoccurrence is high based on size of tumor and lymph node involvement but I am HER2- so that’s good news. Anyone HER2- reading this? I’m wondering about reoccurrence chances... it’s like I’m waiting for the other shoe to hit the ground...

I lost so much weight so I struggle with weakness and appetite. The good part is that I no longer have dizzy spells, diarrhea etc.. At age 53 I had breast cancer in 2015. ER+,PR+, HER2-.
Less than 1 cm in size.
Stage 1. No lymph node involvement. Im doing great, no problems. I took the hormone lowering pills for about a year-and-a-half until I was no longer able to take them from severe side effects.
I chose a double-mastectomy even though I only had cancer in the left breast. That was my choice so that I did not have to have any radiation or chemo. Mine was caught early an a routine mammogram.

That is my point today! Why poison my body? I refuse the Chemo, radiation and the pill. They did mastectomy on my right breast in January, then pet-scam on May showing noting on my body, then at the end of July I notice a little thing growing by the mastectomy incision, the surgeon remove that and came to be cancer. So now I have about 4 more to be remove in about a week from now.
Plus I have kidney transplant since 2006, the kidney is failing but still working, if I do any toxic treatment my kidney will stop right a way. So, I decide no to toxic western medicine because of the kidney, now I’m doing acupuncture combine with Japanese technique, plus Ayurveda therapy, raw plant base diet, no sugars or carbs.
