I don’t know what you’re talking about, but I bet you haven’t been inside the hyundais nowadays. They are far better in quality than the hyundai you base off of from 20 yrs ago.
Coming from an owner of one of the first 18’ X3M40i the new one is really beautiful. The G01 has been an excellent vehicle with the best engine I’ve ever owned. It has been very reliable to no issues and approaching 180k kms. Definitely looking forward to the new X3M50. Could be one of the last B58
The back of headrests are all plastic now. No ambient lighting on doors in back or from what I’ve seen in footwells and storage on lower part of doors. No wood or metal finish on dash and doors. I have a 24 M40i. Interior looks so much better. How can a $70k car have this much plastic?
I have a 23 x3M40 , and when my lease is up , I am definitely not getting this! This looks cheap and it’s NOT fantastic as ppl say.. my interior looks way better than this..BMW is wrong for this foolishness. I’ll just get a M340i when my lease is up next year.
I currently have an X3, absolutely love it, but I’m not a fan of this new one. BMW design has gone a bit over the top in recent years, saying that, all new cars look crap these days, with a few exceptions.
Doesn't look nearly as good as previous gen, haven't seen the new X3 since it isn't on sale yet. But comparing the new X1 (similar design) to the old X1 there is no contest. The old X1 is so much more elegant, better proportions and overall exudes understated luxury, this new one doesn't look bad, but it's just an amalgam of various shapes and straight angles which made it lose the aforementioned qualities of the X1.
That colour is called 'Bandage' ( as seen in WW1 ), horrible............................Eat ya heart out folks, mines ordered - 2.0M Sport in Artic Race Blue ( actually would have much preferred Skyscraper Grey but BMW in their wisdom don't offer that colour on M Sports............yawn ) No idea when it will arrive..........Dec? Jan? Just gotta wait now. Hope I'm not in for a major disappointment. My current 2022 car is lovely so will just have to wait and see.
As well as the cheaper internal materials the thing that actually bothers me the most is that there is no opening sunroof

Had my 24 M40i a month now and looking at this new one, I really feel I got in at the right time. This is not an upgrade!
