    This is why I love breaking bads writing
    It foreshadowed walt being in it because he likes it
    If he truly wanted the money to be for his family he wouldn't care who got the credit
    He wanted the credit
    He wanted to be the guy everyone talks about
    This and his drunk talk to hank about the notes on how to cook meth being stolen

    • @kurtpunchesthings2411
      @kurtpunchesthings2411 Рік тому

      tbh they foreshadowed it from the very moment he rejected his ex coworkers money but as you said yes they did it very well every so often showing signs that he wanted to go Bigger

    • @PhantomOfFire
      @PhantomOfFire Рік тому

      @Kurt Punches Things thats somewhat different
      He hates charity
      And tbh when you worked your whole life to provide for your family
      Someone being charitable and making your life easier pur of nowhere can piss you off
      It's like grinding in a game and then you see someone just buy it for their friend instead of also grinding for it
      Even if it makes everyone happier it can piss you off slightly
      But yeah it was foreshadowed more and more as it went on

      His ego led him to leave Grey Matter and we see it affect every single decision right from when he finds out he has cancer up to the very end of the show.
      He could have easily taught college level, but its possible his ego would crumble if he had to put himself with hundreds of students who actually knew and cared about chemistry every semester being on par or above him, not to mention the established professors.
