I turned off social media because I was tired of listening and seeing so many people tell everyone “God has given me a word for you,” to see how many likes they can get. So many people with mics
That's why it's imperative that WE must choose to not be chasing a word or prophetic word all of the time and truly choose to be led by the spirit, power, and voice of God in Jesus' name.
When I first arrived to Houston, I attended Joel Osteen's church. However, over time, I came to the realization that his preaching leaned more towards "feel good" messages, seemingly aimed at pleasing people rather than challenging them. Unfortunately, this approach didn't provide the guidance or the personal growth I was seeking so I made the decision to leave. It's important to note that I don't intend to label him as a false prophet, but I do want to mention my experience because it has been a topic of discussion within my family for some time now. My concern lies in the fact that his sermons often lack discussions about sin, the importance of hearing from God, or addressing the raw and challenging aspects that can inspire people to make positive changes in their lives and get closer to God.
I feel like some people actually need to just feel hood sometimes because they’ve been beaten up by life, their childhood or both. Most evil people don’t feel good about themselves. But this pastor is amazing. Love him. He spoke on abortion and made me address myself and it hurt but it also felt good.
I had a vision in a dream about him getting lung cancer. He was in one of those vaping psa short ads and it was more of a future dream. Since I’ve had that dream I have a tendency to get concerned every time I would see him online or go to his church. It’s genuinely terrible how his teachings don’t reflect him at all. But despite that, we should pray for him.
I’ve been praying to God to lead me in the truth and toward the right teachings/teachers. Thank you Jerry for discerning God’s voice and training us in spiritual warfare!
Pastor Flowers, you have set me free today. I had been contemplating on leaving my church for this very reason. They don't mention sin, conviction, salvation, nor deliverance. In EVERY message, all he has ever talked about is money for the past couple of years. His message has totally changed. The church's motto is come, grow, lead. The people are coming, but I don't see much growth. It is sad that I have to go outside the my church and get the message that feeds my spirit. But I thank you, and I appreciate you.
It’s been so hard at my church… I preached a word & many were offended but I preached a message called the king in me about Jesus and how he is our treasure & how dark doesn’t mix with light God doesn’t go strolling with the Devil & it’s been off since then I believe they are good people but God is leading me out because I spend time in my word & im not just saying that. When I told my pastor I didn’t feel fed there anymore I was told it’s because I’m not doing the work at home & that’s when I knew there it was time to go because devotion is a priority for me. I will leave with Love but God had me in 2 John this morning about false prophets so I KNOW this is God because he speaks with, through & from his word! Thank you all for your obedience because it’s true when you want more truth you are very fatigued so I appreciate this! May God continue to bless you! Jesus will always be king my imperfections keeps me humble in that! Because only he is worthy …Thanks again!
I've been to many churches and it's hard to find a church that preaches the undiluted word of God after listening to Pastor Jerry Flowers...when he preaches its not only his congregation that gets quiet when he goes for their scalp...I too get quiet and he makes me want to live right he gives solutions...I salute u Pastor🙏
I feel that. Some pastors I've even had to unfollow on Instagram. In our day and age, everyone can have a mic, but we have to be careful who we listen to. Some just tell stories, and barely preach the word. And in this day and age that's so dangerous because the world is shifting quickly. Especially in places that live lives in conjunction to the Anti Christ. Not preaching the word is saying that people are settling for rebellion.
What a great word! So good that Pastor Jerry Flowers Jr and Brother Will Jackson tag teamed. This is so good. The day and age we live in, churches are losing sight of preaching truth. Are we convicted? Changed? So powerful. Be blessed when you're in a place where you can hear the word. I never take it for granted when I listen to my pastor or others who preach the word.
Take what you learned now and apply. It is still beneficial to and for your life even today. God's timing is still perfect, regardless. It ALL still works together for our good regardless. It's so crazy cuz u gave him the right answer in the beginning saying "the color of the key is red " that helped me a lot . Sometimes we need to focus on the beginning and what was the real reason or thing that made us in this situation in the first place. Personally thru out the year I have up and downs with my job. I love my job but sometimes things happen where I'm like ready to walk out lol but remembering the key is red that God answered my prayer with this job n I couldn't even eat before this job, it keeps me humble. My feelings and situations may say the key is yellow, green or orange but the color of the key is red. Thank u guys ! I'm gonna write it down n put it in my work bag.

Pastor got me thinking it was another story, thank God I knew the original story! That's a whole word! When you know the word of God a person who comes to change it isn't able to confuse you because you're able to identify it. But also from that same analogy, I understood that something that may seem insignificant in the right hands can be used for great things (i.e. us in the hands of God). The parts where they said "What is your church built on and what is it made of" and truly explaining "Faith without work is dead" those hit soo hard man! Wonderful message! The key is to receive the Holy Spirit and YIELD to the WORK of the Holy Spirit in our lives so that we are receiving true direction. The Holy Spirit is not going to give us intelligence on big churches with many members only. Some of the super small churches are being led by witches, wizards and warlocks! Rebellious in every way (which-according to God’s word-is as egregious as witchcraft).
How we get this across all radio stations, phones and televisions?!!! We need Redefined Alerts like the Amber Alert ones that wake you up in the middle of the night. THIS WAS SO GOOD, CONVICTING, AND ON TIME !

I am up to the 6th episode I feel that our lord and savior chose this anointed men to talk to me direct. I’ve been battling constant with the enemy in fact all my life. But I was taught since the age of 8 you call upon our lord and savior no matter what. So what this is confirming for me is continue to let the Man work. The Holy Spirit is not going to give us intelligence on big churches with many members only. Some of the super small churches are being led by witches, wizards and warlocks! Rebellious in every way (which-according to God’s word-is as egregious as witchcraft).
How we get this across all radio stations, phones and televisions?!!! We need Redefined Alerts like the Amber Alert ones that wake you up in the middle of the night. THIS WAS SO GOOD, CONVICTING, AND ON TIME !

I am up to the 6th episode I feel that our lord and savior chose this anointed men to talk to me direct. I’ve been battling constant with the enemy in fact all my life. But I was taught since the age of 8 you call upon our lord and savior no matter what. So what this is confirming for me is continue to let the Man work. That David what you have been doing is correct and will always remain in effect with I am Iam through his son the lord of host. I have to always reflect as a constant reminder that he has saved me from many strong holds (trials and tribulations) testimonies for days that I am his child he is not everyone Farther. But I can say he is my dad and daddy. Dad= a provider daddy= one who spends time with his child. Not to many fathers can be both. My lord is both to me. Amen 🙏 ❤
