I have seen mulberry and fig cuttings that immediately start producing after propagation on UA-cam. My question is whether cuttings taken from an immature plant will mature at the same time as the original plant. I had to air layer a mulberry tree to move it from under a hedge into a better location. I just wonder if it will retain it's original plant "age" or if it is starting over.

I'm by no means a pro, but my bare root Meyer I put in a large pot for 1 year. I clipped all the buds and the in the next spring i transplanted to the ground.

Almond, walnut, pears, cherrys, apples, mulberries and pecans. I also have 100 ponderosa pine tree seeds that i may or may not plant since that there is no fruit and my hopes is to produce enough fruit trees/shrubs to produce 50k an acre if i can. hope its worth it in 5 to 20 years. Instead of these obnoxious people who are self entitled because they planted small pine trees. Also even though the bloom/flower there pinch it off and let those roots establish

i have8 lemon trees, add some compost leaves ,bannana peels ,coffee grounds, mix into soil,catch rain water if you can
