I really love that you highlighted that not every artist sells 500+ orders in a shop launch. I also make a living with my art and I wouldn’t know how I could incorporate shipping that many orders next to creating my art. Totally unrelated: I always watch your video’s under a blankie with a cup of coffee and it is one of the highlights of my week, thank you for sharing your art and video’s ❤
it truly does! i am now fascinated by butterflies and moths under the microscope! also wanted to say; this morpho butterfly's body was collected when a butterfly naturally died in a butterfly sanctuary in peru and it was gifted to me, so no butterflies where harmed in the making of this video 💛
Absolutely beautiful, dreamy video as always and even a bit of wonderful Christmas music in there. I lose myself in your amazing art. I love your packing orders outfit and remember it from before ( so pretty) thank you for sharing! 🩷💛🦋🐝
Always without fail your channel is inspirational and uplifting. 🌸 Your attention to detail in creating your paintings, packing your orders and living your authentic life is comforting during these difficult times. 🌸 Thank you. 🙏🏽
I really enjoyed this video! I love watching your artistic process with foraging, microscope studies, and painting. It’s fascinating to me! Today I’m painting a witchy lady with watercolors. ☺️💜

Wished I knew about the fungió print!!!! 😢 I missed it!!!!
Caro, I was finally able to buy your yoga mat. I did not have words when I opened it. it brought me to tears. It is simply beautiful. Thank you so much! I just bought another one for my daughter 💚
even though i'm a digital artist (i create collages) I always enjoy watching how more traditional artists go through their creative process :) gosh, you even have a microscope to take pictures of all these insects!
thank you for saying that artists sales can vary so much all of the time, so many people think some artists are selling 100s of prints a week, great when it happens, but its not the norm
Thank you for sharing the realness of being a full time artist and that it’s definitely not always filled with tons of orders. I am thrilled indie artists out there are supported with tons of patrons on their Patreon campaigns and get lots of orders and even sponsors, it’s wonderful! In the 90s I couldn’t have ever dreamed that was a possibility- honestly it’s why I gave up on art for a long time! But I got back into it and made it my career for the last 11 years. So to see younger artists getting the financial support is a beautiful thing. You showing that it’s not always huge influx of orders is SO helpful and relatable not just for me, but I know many artists, especially those just starting out or having a hard time getting the business they need to support their work. For myself, I have had a very humbling year as my business has made half of my previous year’s income. And I know I’m not alone in this and I’m grateful for every order that comes and pray that the Universe will provide as long as I keep going and having faith in the work I’m creating even if the financial part hasn’t quite caught up yet😅I know it will when the time is right.
Thank you Debbie!! All of this is so true, this new tech tools and apps help us so much and I'm so grateful for them 🫶🏽 same as you, this year I've made less than half than previous years and I may soon need to get back into working at the restaurant industry, but as long as my work is inspiring me and others, no matter the financial aspect, I'll always be painting 🤍
@@Cafeinacoli No matter where the road takes us, may we all stay in the moment and stay in gratitude for abundance that does flow in😘(and I’m saying this as a reminder to myself😉)
I just received your beautiful moon calendar and am now catching up on your videos. Thank you as always, Caro! I wonder, have you considered looking at fish scales under the scope? I know you mostly focus on plants but after seeing the dragonfly wings I thought it could be interesting. Stay well! ❤
Such a beautiful video - again 🌸💚💜Thank you for sharing Caro And please remember too - there is economic crisis and inflation... more people are interested and would love to purchase art from you than actually can at the moment :)) please never ever get discouraged and if you'd do some day, feel freeto come back and re-visit this comment!
Been following your chanbel for over 2 years. So many people have moved away from the states and moved to Peru, Ecuador / Paraguay for a GOOD reason that i cant mention on here incase get banned. So i was suprised your roots are in Peru. Have u thought of going back?
Hi! I have, I do! All the time. My family and my husbands live back home in Peru and we miss them and the land so much. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to make a living as an artist there. One can't pursue an art career while paying bills with a part-time job in the restaurant industry like it is possible in the US. But as I said, we think about it all the time so we may indeed go back :)

I'd love a wardrobe update, Caro! You're looking gorgeous
The moth wing under the microscope looked like a woven fabric! So beautiful!

Beautiful artwork and a beautiful vlog. So inspiring and intentional.
That video is beautiful. I am sorry you didn’t get more orders for your brilliant print.
thank you karol! don't be sorry, what i was trying to say is that even 1 order is truly amazing and something to celebrate 😌😌
That is the best way to look at it. ❤
