- This video is not for you it should be played for your parents, so that they are familiar with the types of calls that we are subjected to on a daily basis.
As I sat one day and thought of all the different types of robo / scam calls I get daily, I started to think about my parents and what they must go through. Most aren't as clued in as we are, and it bothered me quite a bit. Some scam calls are quite real sounding and could easily be mistaken for the real thing.
These companies that do the robo-calling had their paid lobbyists overturn an FCC ruling to make it even easier to robocall you. Most of the complaints to the FCC (they oversee this area) are from people complaining about robocalls. So if most people don't want to receive these calls, why are we still getting them??
So here are a few (just a few of the many) unwanted robocalls that I've received in the past 2 weeks.

My mom has a whistle next to her phone, as soon as the automated message ends and a live caller comes on the line, she blows that whistle for all it's worth, LOL!

Thanks for getting the scam info out there. I got a call recently stating he had my daughter in his truck, and would release her if I paid $2000 to get medical help for a guy my daughter witnessed getting shot. Complete with a girl screaming for help. Sick, sick, sick people out there calling us.
No caller ID, I refuse to answer. If it isn't a telephone solicitor or scammer, they will leave a message.

Your facial expressions ['they' can't see] give away any effort you might be making to pretend how much fun you're not having by your mischief, grinz.
Without your face on screen, these would be great, but with it, they become addictive. I know I'm not the only one repeat viewing these without needing to ask others if they have. You've discovered a special talent that I know I'm not alone in being delighted you shared and realise you've made a lot of effort that's underestimated in the finished works.
Don't, please, don't EVER stop.
As previously stated, where I live, this kinda nuisance can be prevented in one's life but absolutely you're doing a priceless educational public service in your region whilst also giving everyone anywhere watching a great laugh.
Scams Recycled into entertainment for preventative education ... If there isn't a civil U.S. award or medal for that sort of public spiritedness, then there SHOULD be.

Somebody reading this actually does know where you live and actually is your buddy or relation. They should copy responses like mine and distribute them to civil awards bodies over there and demand you be nominated on gong lists locally as well as nationally. That would also potentially spotlight the issues and, like I said, elsewhere, this crap is hugely less of an issue by legal protections and 'things' that can be done to prevent it.
Alternatively [grinz mischievously] you should run for office and effect change the usual suspects haven't. I'd bloody well vote for you if I were still livin' over there.

These cards are distributed thru your bank directly. Any contact would be from YOUR bank and usually by mail. Thanks Again

-I got one yesterday telling me I had a refund coming from Microsoft. He tried to get me to press the ctrl and the windows key together. DON'T DO IT. They can take control of your pc.

It seems like most of my calls are scams of some sort so I stopped answering the phone unless they leave a message and I know there voice . I'm one of those old parents
and have grand kids that think people that call are out take their parents money and they are only 4 & 5 yrs.old. kinda sad !
This is a great information video. I just wish my phone company, Verizon, would do something about all the robocalls I and others have been receiving. I can't use nomorobo because I have the old fashioned copper landline, not VOIP, and I don't have Caller ID. Of course, when I realize it's a robocall, I don't say anything and hang up, but that doesn't stop the robocalls from coming in.
100% in the same shoes you are, I just choose to screw with these people abit before I hang up. I do have nomorobo on my verizon cell phone.
So whats stopping you from switching to Verizon VOIP?
When my 84 year old mom gets a call to extend her auto warranty she tells them she has a 1936 footmoblie and that she has had it since she was born. She was born in 1936 and only has one leg.They fall for it every time.
Were they able to insure her good leg?

When the 0% interest scammers call, what are they trying to do beyond steal your card numbers? I have never let them finish. I give a fake name, city, state and card number to hear their scam but then I bail.
I have even gotten a call from Spectrum with a caller ID of Delta Airline
You are SO right ! I AM a senior, in the uk 🇬🇧 though ! And ALL our scammers are Indian, so I just don’t speak to them, because I truly DON’T understand them ! So it’s “hello and God bless, ‘bye “ But my friend was scammed just yesterday, by a ‘so called’ BT (telephones) and even though she’s been scammed twice before, she STILL gave them her details AGAIN ! Now I’m totally technophobic, I admit it, my grandkids call me a dinosaur (or dinogran for short) I have SO enjoyed your videos, but I think I’ve now seen them all ! Please make some more ? The Mickey mouse voice lol he sounds to me that he is trying to get all his words out before running to the bathroom. I have a message for scammers on my answer machine 'I can't come to the phone right now, scammers will not be answered or tolerated, thanks, bye' no messages left. I now also have a whistle when they call to blow VERY LOUDLY into the phone as they are talking. Great vids sir keep up the great work

Oh brother I told a scammer you want my credit card number oh no.Then he said go to Amazon and I said ok he said put your card number in for a Xbox for $100.00 I said a hundred dollars? I said ok I got a declined debit card and put it in. he said you got it in I said yup.And I new was invalid.He you almost done I said yup then I hung up. Then another scammer was angry I said you probably going to put malware on my phone then he Hung up
