Add Managers, Editors or Studio Viewers to your YouTube Channel

- You can now give Managers, Editors and Viewers access to your channel's UA-cam Studio, as long as your channel is on your main Google account and not a Brand Account.

Have you tried using a different browser? Also try temporarily disabling all extensions and add-ons.
@@PeggyKTC I have the same problem. Using Google Chrome. It is a Google product. Why wouldn't it work?

@@PeggyKTC good to know! This would be a good thing I can offer to do for my Patreon patrons or other's who donate. I can be added as a "Viewer" (or some other level) and go through their UA-cam Studio to point out things they can take action on right away. Thanks again!

This is currently only possible from inside the desktop version of UA-cam Studio (studio.youtube.com). You might be able to access that in the web browser on your smartphone, but it's easier on desktop.
Can an editor post videos for you ..what role requires that...I want someone to edit my video (a footage I give to them) and post if for me on my YT channel, but I don't want them to have access in deleting any videos or the channel itself, also editing my channel info ( the description), or looking at my browsing history...
An Editor (Limited) can upload videos and delete drafts, but cannot delete published videos. The (Limited) role means they cannot see revenue data. But they can take a bunch of other actions, including editing channel details, so see the full list here support.google.com/youtube/answer/9481328
@@PeggyKTC Okay thank you just read it...just wondering if I give footage to an editor to edit can they still upload it themselves without asking (me) the owner...
Can they (editors) also add a title and description to videos..plus when they're managing will they have their own name e.g Charlie (the editor) or will it just be the same name as the channel just 'Charlie'.
@e.o.a101 an Editor can upload, and edit titles and descriptions (among other things). The video will show as published by the channel, not the editor.

I have a main channel account and I am trying to add another main channel account Google user with a gmail address. I keep getting the error message: Unable to submit changes. We had trouble submitting changes. Click view to access unsaved changes. Do you happen to know why?
Can the person you're trying to add sign into UA-cam normally with that account?
If they're using Google Workspace account it may not be permitted, or if their account is a suspended, they won't be able to manage another UA-cam channel.
@@PeggyKTC Yes. It's a brand new Google Account that I created using a totally different gmail account. Not Workspace. Not suspended.
@@AgentCathy are you able to add a different Google Account to your channel permissions?
@@PeggyKTC No Ma'am. I got the same error message. I at one time was able to add another non-gmail user to one of my brand accounts though. Just not this one.
@@AgentCathy a couple more questions:
* Is your channel on a Brand Account?
* If it is on a Brand Account, does it have other owners or managers (you can check at myaccount.google.com/brandaccounts > Brand Account details > Manage Permissions)
The process of adding managers using channel permissions should prompt you to remove current Brand Account managers, but maybe that is not working.

Take a look at your monetization tab in UA-cam Studio. It should have additional information about why your monetization was disabled.

The only information about it is "Reused content. Repurposing someone else's content without adding significant original commentary or educational value."
But i dont know which video I should delete or what I should do to lean up against my channel. even i dont have any copyright claim right now... I am so confused. Could you please consider helping my situation!
@@ledihalediha This isn't related to copyright claims. This can happen even when you have permission. Usually the problem is that you are using third-party content, content created by other people, without adding enough original content of your own.

my channel don't have viewer option I have just owner, manager, communication manager roles
Moraa Educational Complex: that means your channel is on a Brand Account. Brand Accounts do not have the new channel managers and editors option, but that should eventually be available.
Can a limited Editor respond to comments?
A limited editor can reply to comments as the channel on the UA-cam Studio Comments page. They cannot respond to comments as the channel on the video watch page.

While community contributions will no longer be available, channel owners can still add their own captions and subtitles. Or they can continue to use UA-cam's automated captions.
Peggy K Ik but UA-cam auto captions suck and some UA-camrs don’t have the time to do so and they rely on the community to help and when that’s taken away it puts a ton of stress on the creators
@@saikono5547 it will definitely make it harder for those creators who used it. But they may be able to source captions another way, then upload them.
