Stuff like this is why i got into fish keeping and setting up tanks. That feeling you get when you're all done and you take a step back to admire your work unmatched.
The way you just dive into the project at hand, reminds me of me lol focused and fast paste, messy but precise 🥰 and all is well and wonderful when the project is finished. Im proud of you! This build is amazing and the finish is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. You have my unconditional support in this hobby 🌿 I have learned so much from you just by watching, you’re an inspiration! Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's always great to hear that someone finds inspiration and learns from someone else's work, and I'm glad that I can help you in that way. If you have any questions or need any help with your own projects, feel free to ask!
You are incredibly crafty and taking advantage of using what's around you, then knowing which plants will benefit from the environment the most, and to placing every little stick in it's place. You got my attention for 12 minutes and contemplating making room in my grow space for a small tank! That snakehead is adorable, unfortunately they are invasive in my country, especially the south/east region.
Thank you for thinking of the environment. It may be easily dismissed as not an issue but here in Australia we are burdened with runaway populations of invasive fish. The native fauna have not evolved with these new invaders and quickly succumb to them. European carp have devastated waterways and now Tilapia are impossible to remove from sub tropical wetlands and rivers.
@@teeanahera8949 Invasive fish and crustaceans are a pretty significant issue where I am in Canada as well, and I've been able to see the impact over my own lifetime so far. Invasive foraging fish and freshwater mussels have decimated the population of some native species, and the mussels have changed the water chemistry enough that some plants no longer exist in the area. Freshwater clams (none of the local species are/were actually clams) are seemingly extinct, I haven't seen any sign of a living one since I was very young. Just old broken shells left. The only native species that are still thriving are the predatory fish that don't really care whether they're eating native prey or invaders.
You are quite the artist. Made a paladarium years ago. Not half as nice as this, but I enjoyed it while I could. Tried using flagstone for the hard scape which is limited in what you can create. So many different options now for hard scaping than what I knew about then. This gives me a lot more ideas to work with. Can’t wait to start on a new project. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you so much!!I remember when I made my first fish tank it was bad. But with more practice, it will get better and better. I am so glad to help you.
You have created a wonderful home for your fish! Your knowledge of what to plant to make it interesting and where you placed them is outstanding. Thank you for sharing your creation!

Even after years, i still look up to this video at how beautiful the whole thing is, that fish is probably happier there than ever. If only i can make my tank look this beautiful
It means a lot to hear that this video has inspired you over the years. I'm sure your tank can look just as stunning-sometimes it just takes a bit of experimenting and patience.

Hey man, this is one of the best aquarium/terrarium's I've ever seen! Most zoo's don't make stuff half as nice as this! And if you want to know if your Snakehead is a male of female, females tend to be smaller than males, and have a shorter dorsal fin along with smaller snout and upper jaw.
Hey there! Thank you so much for the kind words. I really appreciate it! This aquarium/terrarium is indeed a labor of love. And thanks for the tip on identifying the Snakehead's gender-I'll keep an eye out for those characteristics!
