- Learn how to use security filtering to limit the scope of group policy objects to users or computers that are members of an active directory security group. In this example, I show you how to change the security filtering options of a group policy object from authenticated users to a security group so that the specified group policy only gets applied to the members of the security group.

Spent waaay to much time on figuring out the best way to apply Security Filtering without using Authenticated Users, but your video explains that if done correctly, when adding it back under Delegation, that you can clearly see "apply" isn't selected. Thank you for explaining that specific part.
Glad you found the video useful! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this. So many other inappropriate titled videos I had to sort through to find this gem.

Amazing video, I was trying to do a single GPO for printers for every department and was wondering why other departments even though I had targeting was applying to everyone.

Instead of removing autheticated user and adding it back to delegation, it's simpler to just go to delegation > advance and remove apply. Just a suggestion.
This is just how I've always done it.

1)if active directory security group located specific OU then needs to point Policy underneath that specific OU 2) best practice to create active directory security group under main OU
3) why authenticated users added in delegation tab if not added what will happen
I'm not sure what you mean by the first two questions. For the last question, if you don't add Authenticated Users in the delegation tab, then the GPO won't be visible to the Active Directory objects to know if they need to be applied or not.

@@danny_moran GPO has to be applied to top OU I am not sure how to link GPO to the security group
GPO's need to be linked to Organisational Units.
In some cases, you can use item-level targeting to narrow down the scope to a security group, however, this is not available for all GPO settings.
