Man, it would've been cool to have Trench and Grievous working together on a planetary campaign. Trench handling the the space battle while Grievous handles the ground war.
One of my favorite things about Trench is how he's so obviously a step up above the other villains of the show. He's actually trying to outsmart the characters and use tactics to his advantage. They did have to dumb him down for the last scene so the heroes could actually defeat him though. Another awesome thing is his design. He's a spider. Spiders both in myth and symbology are usually seen as tactical, cold, calculating creatures. Even in real life, some species of spiders are actually seen to be able to strategically plan instead of going off of pure instinct.
Trench was in pretty bad shape, when his ship was destroyed, but he survived, he laid low for a while, Started making plans for revenge, he knew about Echo’s condition in Lola Sau, so the Techno Union use battle strategies to win every battles, he knew Anakin Skywalker will, you’ll be back for more, and bam, here we are, the CIS was return and work together with the Rebel Alliance

I hate about that, it’s as contrived as Maul being reconstituted and Echo surviving. They should have stayed dead.
My arachnophobia couldnt handle this dude in live action but at the same time he was such an underrated character and he needs more screentime
