Even though you say that this was badly made, I, personally, think this was greatly animated and drawn. I'm so glad this came up in my recommended! Being honest, I was confused at the end.. since Tord had Tom's eyes, I was sure if they fused together or something (not like the crystal gems, don't get me wrong), but besides that point. I was repeatedly screaming OH SHIT OH SHIT in excitement and amazement. I read the description and really, maybe I don't have an eye for it, but I did not see any real inconsistency in the art. When I saw that this was fully animated (just Tom getting up at the start, even just putting on his hoodie) I got really excited and hyped! I tried animating like once and it was... So long and bad... But it was satisfying and I see animations in a whole other way now (mostly respect for the animator). What I'm trying to say is that, as much as you might not think so, i think this turned out great! Congrats on not giving up judging by the time it took you, its always great to accomplish those sorts of things because you can tell yourself "I've done this before" if you ever embark on a huge project. I love the story as well, the Tom/Tord leader fusion is something I'd never seen before and his design made me quite literally flip my shit (ITS SO BADASS AAAAAA) Ugh of course Tom would sacrifice himself for Matt and Edd i love him so much. Tord's maniac laughing was very creepy, congrats. There were a lot of really well framed moments that actually made me feel anxious, when Tom is lying on the medical table for example and the fan keeps passing before our eyes. I really liked the general atmosphere, I got into it from the start with the few amazing drawings of Tom's dark room. All in all I loved this, you shouldn't bring yourself down so much! This took real talent and patience and perseveration, and even if you might not be happy about the final product I hope you can be happy about the effort you put into it!
Ughhh just rewatched it and AAAAAAAAAAA other moments that made me feel actually afraid/anxious were when Tord laughs and gets up, he's towering over Tom, my brain kept going "he's RISING" and ugh, or when they just fuse. FUSE I was like OH SHIT (again) because I realised that their memories get mixed together, for example Tord turning into a monster and Tom becoming a leader. Although S H I T Tord getting Tom's powers (like you said in the description) and his arm back and ughhhhhhhhhh. Tom falling and I suppose Tord is trying to catch him but Is there a moment Tom regrets this, while he's choking on the black stuff ... But then he looks at Edd and Matt? Also I love their fusion because it feels, in general stance, like Tom but it looks like Tord (except the eyes and side burns and other little Tom things)
This idea is interesting and I think you did a great job at making it look awesome. That Tord hyperventilation? Laugh? Scene was unnerving to me. Really awesome keep it up!
Some things are too great to describe. Some things are too difficult to express. Some things are just too good. This made me, no, everyone here emotional and just..i can't even begin to- This is one of the best things I've ever seen. So much emotion and power and intensity. This is best Eddsworld fan animation I’ve seen. Like, ever. And released on my birthday too! The animation is smooth and comparable to that of someone who is in animation school (or beyond that in some cases) so kudos to you on that! The story isn’t lazy, in my opinion, but rather something new and interesting. I’d like to learn more about it. Gosh, I watched this 3 times before even commenting. I was that sucked in. I love the whole story and everything basically. I completely understand. Honestly I think you're amazing. You did this and was still working on it from last year! I couldn't even do that bc I lose motivation very easily. But see this makes me want too try harder and not give up in my art. Keep going!
this is very good i love it! and to be honest I don't ship any of the characters from eddsworld together. The art is amazing, the lighting is perfect, and all i have to complain about is the fact you put yourself down so much. ( I read the description ) your a very good artist and don't think i'm saying that because I don't do art because I do make art. And I believe that artists, animators, and anyone who thinks their bad in general should stop having so much self doubt. It's unhealthy, that's what my therapist said.
julia wolf say that to my friend she knows she’s not good at drawing and doesn’t admit it to me when I see it all, so the thing she did was take one of my drawings trace it throw it away and trace over the traced drawings for a little competition when the drawing she took was from a competition I did so yeah she still has it at her house to this day and my character is banned from being used which I’m ok with so she still traces and puts different colours -_- I am so done with it because I just want to go to her house and smash rip and tear up every single thing that I see as my drawing in her house, because I went over there and saw my character traced all over her wall.

Okay, I could FEEL this video. It felt like I was there. I could feel the hopelessness. It might sound a little silly, but I particularly resonated with Tom getting up early to go and being in the car. It reminded me of getting up really early to go to the airport. This is a truly beautiful animation and even if you don’t like it, this made me feel emotions in a way I don’t think any other video ever has.
Okay, Okay, Okay. During the beginning of the video, I was so confused as to what the story was about (Since I haven't read the description, yet). I wanted to try and understand the story from my perspective. It was nearing the end of the video that I start freaking out because of Tord's demeanor in that white room. Then when the flashing images starts showing up is where I freak out even more because a part of the story finally clicks. Then after reading the entire description, I was glad that I didn't get part of the story wrong. Sorry, sorry. I'm just so excited that you released a new video and it's just so good. dude like theres like, thousands of words in the english language and i cant even string enough of them together to describe how much i love this...? you said this is awful, but what on earth provoked you to say that?? everything about this is pure determination and skill. pmvs(?) like these look like trash unless you actually put hard work (as you did here) into them. i just want to take a moment and tell you everything i love about this, please :"0c the art is by far my favorite of this entire thing. of course, you probably get people telling you your art is fantastic all the time! but it's not, its truly /fascinating./ you have an amazing sense of anatomy, and your lines are smooth and confident. not only that, but you kept a smooth color scheme throughout the entire thing that allowed this video in whole to flow together perfectly. i absoloutely adore how you draw the eddsworld gang, you have perfect body headcannons and i couldn't agree more with them. secondly, the animation. there were those small parts where you'd add in a few extra frames for animation purposes, and boy oh boy are your animations fluid. you managed to keep your frames from moving sketchily, having them instead flow like water. i especially love the animation on tom's part in the morning, something about it pleased me so much... you have incredible skill in the field of animation from what ive seen. never give up, that is a true talent. lastly, id like to point out the song you chose. of course you did say that you had to retime the entire thing to fit the cover of the original song you were going to use, but man oh man dont get me started. ive never heard this song before and i will never listen to it the way i would have if it would have just popped onto pandora, when beautiful people take the time out of their lives to work hard on a project like this and pair it with a song that may have been unheard of (at least for me it was) MAN, i wont go a day without potentially hearing that song and thinking "omg this is the song mae used in an eddsworld animation.." and if im around friends at that specific moment i am most likely going to brag about you and your work to my friends. definitely show them your talent. sorry, that message turned out way longer than i intended, but i just want you to know you're actually becoming a huge inspiration to me. you have a fantastic art style, flawless animation skills, an obvious great taste in music, and are an overall BEAUTIFUL blessing to this animation/art community. thank you for taking the time out of your life to provide us with yet another masterpiece. Even though you say that this was badly made, I, personally, think this was greatly animated and drawn. I'm so glad this came up in my recommended! Being honest, I was confused at the end.. since Tord had Tom's eyes, I was sure if they fused together or something (not like the crystal gems, don't get me wrong), but besides that point. I was repeatedly screaming OH SHIT OH SHIT in excitement and amazement. I read the description and really, maybe I don't have an eye for it, but I did not see any real inconsistency in the art. When I saw that this was fully animated (just Tom getting up at the start, even just putting on his hoodie) I got really excited and hyped! I tried animating like once and it was... So long and bad... But it was satisfying and I see animations in a whole other way now (mostly respect for the animator).
What I'm trying to say is that, as much as you might not think so, i think this turned out great! Congrats on not giving up judging by the time it took you, its always great to accomplish those sorts of things because you can tell yourself "I've done this before" if you ever embark on a huge project. I love the story as well, the Tom/Tord leader fusion is something I'd never seen before and his design made me quite literally flip my shit (ITS SO BADASS AAAAAA)
Ugh of course Tom would sacrifice himself for Matt and Edd i love him so much. Tord's maniac laughing was very creepy, congrats. There were a lot of really well framed moments that actually made me feel anxious, when Tom is lying on the medical table for example and the fan keeps passing before our eyes. I really liked the general atmosphere, I got into it from the start with the few amazing drawings of Tom's dark room.
All in all I loved this, you shouldn't bring yourself down so much! This took real talent and patience and perseveration, and even if you might not be happy about the final product I hope you can be happy about the effort you put into it!
Ughhh just rewatched it and AAAAAAAAAAA other moments that made me feel actually afraid/anxious were when Tord laughs and gets up, he's towering over Tom, my brain kept going "he's RISING" and ugh, or when they just fuse. FUSE
I was like OH SHIT (again) because I realised that their memories get mixed together, for example Tord turning into a monster and Tom becoming a leader. Although S H I T Tord getting Tom's powers (like you said in the description) and his arm back and ughhhhhhhhhh. Tom falling and I suppose Tord is trying to catch him but
Is there a moment Tom regrets this, while he's choking on the black stuff ... But then he looks at Edd and Matt?
Also I love their fusion because it feels, in general stance, like Tom but it looks like Tord (except the eyes and side burns and other little Tom things)

This is best Eddsworld fan animation I’ve seen. Like, ever. And released on my birthday too! The animation is smooth and comparable to that of someone who is in animation school (or beyond that in some cases) so kudos to you on that! The story isn’t lazy, in my opinion, but rather something new and interesting. I’d like to learn more about it. Gosh, I watched this 3 times before even commenting. I was that sucked in. And that’s a lot coming from an ADD kid. Anywho, thank you for this masterpiece, and have a great day/night!

and to be honest I don't ship any of the characters from eddsworld together. The art is amazing, the lighting is perfect, and all i have to complain about is the fact you put yourself down so much. ( I read the description ) your a very good artist and don't think i'm saying that because I don't do art because I do make art. And I believe that artists, animators, and anyone who thinks their bad in general should stop having so much self doubt. It's unhealthy, that's what my therapist said.
julia wolf say that to my friend she knows she’s not good at drawing and doesn’t admit it to me when I see it all, so the thing she did was take one of my drawings trace it throw it away and trace over the traced drawings for a little competition when the drawing she took was from a competition I did so yeah she still has it at her house to this day and my character is banned from being used which I’m ok with so she still traces and puts different colours -_- I am so done with it because I just want to go to her house and smash rip and tear up every single thing that I see as my drawing in her house, because I went over there and saw my character traced all over her wall.

Okay, I could FEEL this video. It felt like I was there. I could feel the hopelessness. It might sound a little silly, but I particularly resonated with Tom getting up early to go and being in the car. It reminded me of getting up really early to go to the airport. This is a truly beautiful animation and even if you don’t like it, this made me feel emotions in a way I don’t think any other video ever has.

During the beginning of the video, I was so confused as to what the story was about (Since I haven't read the description, yet). I wanted to try and understand the story from my perspective. It was nearing the end of the video that I start freaking out because of Tord's demeanor in that white room. Then when the flashing images starts showing up is where I freak out even more because a part of the story finally clicks. Then after reading the entire description, I was glad that I didn't get part of the story wrong.

the art is by far my favorite of this entire thing. of course, you probably get people telling you your art is fantastic all the time! but it's not, its truly /fascinating./ you have an amazing sense of anatomy, and your lines are smooth and confident. not only that, but you kept a smooth color scheme throughout the entire thing that allowed this video in whole to flow together perfectly. i absoloutely adore how you draw the eddsworld gang, you have perfect body headcannons and i couldn't agree more with them.

there were those small parts where you'd add in a few extra frames for animation purposes, and boy oh boy are your animations fluid. you managed to keep your frames from moving sketchily, having them instead flow like water. i especially love the animation on tom's part in the morning, something about it pleased me so much... you have incredible skill in the field of animation from what ive seen. never give up, that is a true talent.
lastly, id like to point out the song you chose. of course you did say that you had to retime the entire thing to fit the cover of the original song you were going to use, but man oh man dont get me started. ive never heard this song before and i will never listen to it the way i would have if it would have just popped onto pandora, when beautiful people take the time out of their lives to work hard on a project like this and pair it with a song that may have been unheard of (at least for me it was) MAN, i wont go a day without potentially hearing that song and thinking "omg this is the song mae used in an eddsworld animation.." and if im around friends at that specific moment i am most likely going to brag about you and your work to my friends. definitely show them your talent.

Honestly I love this video so much. Even though you said this video was a mess, it's better than many animations I've saw already.
My close friend sent me this and I'm so glad she did. I know you dont think greatly of your own talent and abilities but I absolutely loved this. I would honestly read a whole books worth of the story line and the animation in my eyes is incredible. I absolutely envy you and your talent, I feel that alot of big animation or graphic design producers would take you in a heartbeat if you where to study animation later on in your life as a collage course or something to that nature. I cant believe I wasnt subscribed to you before, keep it up you have a ton of potential.
