    I love this build! As for carpet, since this truck is going to be used I'd say go with the darker carpet to hide the dirt a bit

    This build is beautiful! I like the idea of smooth in the engine bay, but raptor liner in the wheel well.

    Great video again. I say red carpet. No raptor liner under the hood. It’ll be harder to clean when it gets dirty.

    Your build is coming along awesome! Im currently building a 78 crew cab with the same 2016 frame and 6.7 powerstroke, a note that might help you with the trans cooler location is using a cooler from a 2020 or new truck as they mount underneath between the engine and trans and you only run two coolant lines up front to the radiator, and if you wanna make it even nicer you can use the factory 18+ water pump and factory lines from the 20+ back to the cooler and it then puts that cooling system onto the main engine system reducing the secondary requirements down to just the air to water cooler and fuel cooler. I'm following for inspiration and techniques, nice job and hope to see it on the road soon.

    Matt I recently did the acc carpet kit in my son’s Bronco, and he chose the taller cut pile and it is more like factory than the standard cut pile.

    Reminds me of the one we had when i was a teen. We had a 1967 F350 crew cab with a longbed in Wimbledon White with the 352.

    Your video are awesome, love the truck and how it’s turning out. I have a 77 f350 crew cab I slowly building and wanted to know who I could talk to about swapping a 6.7 powerstroke into if possible on a standalone harness. Keep up the awesome work and great videos.

    • @MattKubik1791
      @MattKubik1791  6 місяців тому

      Mars has a stand alone 6.7 but you have to buy the engine and trans with the harness. Several reasons for this that are impossible to get around is why I’m assuming you have to buy everything but they do have a kit.

    Are the inner fenders galvanized? All of my Dentsides ( 1975 F150 4x4, two 1976 F250 Highboys and 1977 F150 4x4 ) have galvanized inner fenders.

    • @MattKubik1791
      @MattKubik1791  7 місяців тому +2

      They are, but on the bumpsides they were painted. The dent sides were left bare.

    • @71FordGator
      @71FordGator 7 місяців тому +1

      I’m asking because the local body guy said that paint will eventually chip off of the galvanized steel.
