Good stuff, Cap. This was great for Beginners on a budget and Experts looking for new ways to do this. If I may add, if you can't afford a camera but you have a cell phone and a pair of ear buds with the volume buttons, you're good to go. Set your phone up, you can get a cheap cell phone tripod at Walgreen's for $10 (or make one out of a cup or something), then plug your headphones in and turn on your phone's camera. Make sure the focus is locked on your subject and press the volume key on the headphones. There you have it, a camera with a remote shutter on the cheap.
Awesome! When I make a second video like this I will be sure to include that in there. That's a great tip for sure.
Another tip I would like to offer is that since it's your (referring to any newcomers) own figure federation, you don't have to stick exclusively to wrestlers in the roster. If someone wants to put together a federation with a mix of both wrestlers, superheroes, monsters, and anime characters as part of the roster, then make it so.

Could you do part 2 with what programs to use. how to use/ get music, sound effects , your own commentary.
High Light use iMovie you can do it on like iPhone or iPad. On android, best to use KineMaster. To get music and avoid copyright most of the time I just record the song from like a Bluetooth speaker or a laptop or something. To use your own commentary just record your voice on which ever software you’re using

this video came at a perfect time for me, as im in the process of building a roster and ring for a stop motion fed, biggest issue im facing currently is a lack of space for a set. i might just elevate a table like you have! great video as always!

The lamp is from Target, and the smaller light I have was from Big Lots. They have a LOT of lighting options for relatively cheap. I think you'll be able to find what you need there!

Thank you for this amazing video. Great tips that could really help me out, and I’m sure it will help many others. Awesome to see how you started your federation, or like the setup. Anyways, could the rubber bands be like the ones from that loom kit (wristband maker)?
I'm not really familiar with the loom kit, but if they're small elastic bands then I believe they SHOULD work okay.

That was great advise! Definitely people should listen to u, u even animated for WWE!hahaha I like the advice for the paper on the VHS tape. Always used VHS tapes but never did the paper thing, it's a great idea and I'm definitely gunna use it!

Fantastic video mate. Wish this was around when I started. Have you got any recommendations on things that could hold strings? I'm sure someone used to have a tutorial video where they used something like a tripod stood over the ring to hold it... I can't find it anywhere though so I have no idea what it was.

Awesome video but can you go into more detail sometime in the future. I'm thinking about getting into stop motion and having a series on my channel and I really wanna know things such as, how to set up lighting, how to get certain angles and shots without knocking anything over.

For most of my animations in the last couple years, I used a Nikon D3000.

This video was awesome and really helpful, I'm definitely what I can to take the lessons you've shown and apply them to my own stuff.
I make my own special effects so far I have beam attacks. Like say an atomic breath or an energy beam. I want to go ahead and have them set up without needing a stand for something and we don't have to always leave them up against another figure. Do you think that ruptured will work for that as well? Also what kind of editor app do you use I want to start making my feels better. I'm at 104th subscribers and I really want to give them some good stuff. Do you have any other tips? I also forgot what can I do about sound editing? I want to add special effects sounds like gunshots screaming and stuff like that and explosions. Can you tell me what a pie chart download or something?
I can try to answer stuff like this in an upcoming video. As for the energy beam idea, I don't know if these techniques will work since I have only ever done my energy beams as digital effects and not using the props that the figures came with.

Finding elites online, if you’re trying to make custom figures I’d say check eBay for fodder lots. I don’t really know where to get complete figures cheap aside from buying them at retail.

What kind of string is the best to use?
I don’t think it truly matters if you plan to edit it out, but I go for regular sewing thread or very thin string and try to match it to the background color if I can

It's an action figure federation that uses photos and text to tell the story and matches, instead of stop motion animation.

That's an option, but people don't always have the right kind of setup or lighting for a huge green screen behind their arena.
