Thanks so much for all your fantastic content! I especially love your sew alongs and this one is brilliant! I have had this pattern on my wish list for ages and with your guidance I feel confident to tackle it. I love your finished blouse and the fact that you used your leftover fabric to make it.❤❤❤
Wonderful - thanks for letting me know! Just a little note: You may need to add length to the sleeve band (2 inches or so) to fit more comfortably around your arm. Since the sleeve itself is gathered to fit the cuff, it’s an easy adjustment.
Thank you for this video, had to go back a few times to make sure I understood everything but that was just to be sure i understood everything correctly. Your instructions where si detailed, I'll definitely come back to this when I'm making this blouse! I appreciate you putting in the work of filming and explaining! I want to make this blouse soon and now I'm excited to check out your channel for other inspiration and information!
This sew-a-long was a life saver! The directions on the website were very sparse and it was very difficult to see the fabric due to the same color background there. I agree your fabric was also a bit busy but your explanations were excellent. My sleeve openings were very tight on my elbow area. I had to snip the seams to give myself a bit more ease there before adding the cuff. Also, added four inches to the blouse length since I don't do cropped tops. These free patterns are great but need a sew-a-long for the skimpy directions. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for the comment and feedback! Very happy that it was helpful. I think if I made it again I would expand the armhole and add elastic/casings for a little extra ease and comfort as you've mentioned. ;)
I’m finally going to tackle buttons fingers crossed and since your my go teacher do you think this would be a good beginner pattern or should I do your collar button down ? Love this fabric.
@@Cambrilsbirds hi!! 👋 this is such a pretty top pattern - and I think it’s easier than sewing a collared shirt. The only change i would make in hindsight, just fyi, is to cut the arm band pieces a tad longer to fit more loosely. Have fun sewing and let me know how it goes! ❤️
This is a bit hard to follow the directions with this particular fabric. A plain blue or another plain collar would make it so,so much easier to see and understand the steps as you are doing them . Thanks

Thank you! Just FYI, when I re-make this blouse, I will make the armbands a little longer for a bit more ease. 💡

Thank you for the feedback. I realized this, only half way through the sewing. :)
