Absolutely agree that August has body dysmorphia. He was eating just lettuce on its own. And in series one thinking he was fat when he had no fat on his body at all. He works out way too much to be healthy. What he did to the boys was unforgivable, but he has serious problems - family problems, self image problems. I am from the UK, and can see a lot of his worst traits in posh/aristocratic boys who go to the top boarding schools here and then go on to run the country. Unfortunately, when things don't go August's way, he lashes out at others rather than dealing with his own issues.
yes, Wille did get taller and might be even taller in S3 😅 The actor (Edvin Ryding) was 17 when they first started filming S1 and is 20 now

- he has not revealed why he 's being a dick to August he is just making August undermine his own damn self ( apart from the audience no one knows why August is giving in all they see is their privileges being taken away )
- he told no one to dethrone August he just planted the seed
- he didn't demand the lunch rules be changed the "people" voted and August approved

To answer a few of your questions
Yes Sarah is doing what you think she's doing.
The monarchy in Sweden is not as strict as the English monarchy. They actually have come out and said that it wouldn't make a difference if one of their princes or princesses were queer and it wouldn't affect the line of succession. Though yes, Wilhelm could choose to abdicate if he so desires. Though I personally do not believe as strongly as you do that, he doesn't want the crown. Also, you mention Prince Harry a lot as a comparison, but Prince Harry hasn't actually abdicated. He's still legally in line for the throne.

@@jeslycruzThere is still the problem with the heir though, since adopted children don't count and surrogacy is not legal in Sweden, so they would have to use a surrogate from another country where it is legal... Prince Harry's case is very different because due to prince William's kids he's so far down the line of succession now that he would never become king anyway.
@jesly Re Abdicating - at present there is nothing for Wille to "Abdicate" from ..... until he is officially sworn in as Crown Prince at 18 or until he becomes King he can't abdicate .. "Crown Prince " at this point is simply a description as to where he falls as it relates to the line of succession ... at this point only the Royal Court can decide if he remains Crown Prince or not ... he is currently 16 and won't have any real formal duties until he is "of age" which is 18
Re not wanting to be King - i don't think he has given this much consideration ... he didn't before as his brother was in line for the throne and then it fell on him right as he found Simon ..him saying I don't want it is more of a knee jerk reaction ( I THINK ) versus really not wanting it ...i thin in the back of his mind he knows he has no choice ..he just wants what he wants right now ... which is Simon
Also as a follow up to what @asterierrantry said re the The monarchy in Sweden not being as strict as the English monarchy .... the current Crown Princess is married to her ex-personal trainer and her brother the prince is married to a reality TV star .... i guess this is why in the series there was no strong reaction by the Queen about Willie being with Simon it was more about the SCANDAL of the Video

The three seasons are during one school year.
A school year is from end of August to the beginning of June.
The first season is from around October, when Wille arrived, to December.
The second season is from January to Mars/April.
The third season is from April to the beginning of June.
23:44 yes, everyone at the school knows it was Wilhelm because they knew it was his room (or at least everyone in Forest Ridge? dorm knew). It's mostly that they have to keep it quiet to the rest of Sweden.
BTW.. jesly i get what you are saying and I AGREE that on the face of it Willie at this point is not giving King Vibe ... he is just a 16 yo kid wanting his bf back and wanting a "normal life" ....I don't even think the "King Like" behavior he exhibits he himself is aware of .... his behaviour brings into question the whole idea of Nature vs Nurture ... by nature he is a sweet, kind and sensitive kid but nurture wise he is being taught to be political and calculating ...

Wilhelm isn't necessarily gay. Edvin Rydings (the actor who plays him) said they're deliberately not having him come out with any kind of label to show the fact that you don't necessarily have to label your sexuality. You can just be what you are.
re songs : Omar / Simon has 2 songs on the soundtrack of the series The fist song he did in season one "It takes a Fool to Remain Sane"( not an original but a cover) ... you have not heard the other one yet so i wont say .....
2:40 I'm pretty sure August has an eating disorder. He carefully controls what he eats, he works out all the time, and looks for fat on his body that is not there. 5:14 Yep. I think so too. Some sort of body dysmorphia.
8:06 Nils is either gay or bi (or pan). He just hides it when he's with a guy. Remember that Nils and Madison hooked up in S1. And I'll never get over Nils touching Wilhelm with his pee hands. Ewww!
Aside: I think it's just adorable when Wilhelm told Simon that he got a haircut just so Simon wouldn't leave and they could talk more.
Don't forget that Sara is on the autism spectrum. It explains some of her words and actions (but doesn't forgive all that she does).

@@jeslycruz Same. At the beginning of S1E1, we all love Sara and Felice is kinda bitchy. But by S2, Felice is the best and Sara makes so many bad choices. They flip-flop.
25:36 Marcus's "apartment" is very confusing. He's a third year/senior at Simon's old school, yet has his own place. I read/heard that it's actually either a room over his parents' garage or an out-building on their property. So he's not actually on his own but kinda is. I heard that the explanation may have been cut or things weren't translated all the way. Or it might have even been in the English dub version where they explain it. I was very confused the first time I watched because I didn't understand how he had his own place.
It's an apt in his parent's backyard ... Is actually not that uncommon in the UK and Europe I am guessing especially if you live in the country on older properties where you have outbuildings and sheds etc . Older teens will move above the garage or to one of the outbuildings. ... More people are using them for air bandb's now ...

2:11 I have only an older brother as a sibling. I looked up to him so much when we were younger. Siblings are the only ones who know what you went through as kids. I don't want to think of when my brother is gone. I love my mom and brother so much.
Edvin did get taller. He was only 17-ish when he filmed S1 and boys can continue to grow until early 20s. Omar was 22-ish (now 24) and is about his final adult height.

each season is a Term ( Season 1 Christmas Term , Season 2 Easter/Spring Term Season 3 will be Autumn/ summer Term ) . ..... so everything is happening in their first year
Wille hearing Marcus is on Grinder : The look on Wille's face was " What? You but what about did you say GRINDER ..oh F$%£ he's gay and giving Simon a ride" This kid is having his coming of Age as an Actor Moment .... he is acting even when he is not the main focus ... check his expression in season one when Simon said he was not going to rowing practice if " what do you mean you are not coming ..I joined team for you and now you are leaving me to deal with August WTH" was an image it would be Wille's face in that moment .. His facial dialogue is out of this world
Yes, Edvin is a phenomenal actor! He conveys so much with just the slightest facial expression. Omar/Simon too. Especially the masquerade scenes.

I couldn't tell if you have the subtitles on that translate the songs. One of the English subtitles does, and one doesn't. I forget which one.

@@jeslycruz Okay, that's good! I know one or two reaction UA-camrs said that they couldn't see the song translations. They had the wrong version on. For some reason, there's one English subtitle version that translates it and one English subtitle version that doesn't translate the songs.

Wilhelm is not bi, he is gay but they decided to not to label his sexuality because they wanted to represent unlabel people and not to focus on sexuality that much (the main thing is that he is in love with a boy and might want to marry a guy in the future, so what will monarchy do about it is the main question here).
