Global Birdfair surprise 2024 - holding an Iguana and snake. We were looking at the binoculars at the Swarovski Optik stand and along comes Nigel Marven (TV presenter/producer) with an iguana and snake. I was surprised and delighted to hold the iguana which was heavy and snake which felt cold around my neck, this was my very first time of holding reptiles.
At the Whinchat Podcast Station, we saw Seán Ronayne talking about how he is collating all the sounds of the birds in Ireland, also how birds learn and mimic others - what a great job.
There was so much to see and do at this biggest Wildlife and Bird show event at Lyndon Top, Rutland, we will definitely think about visiting again.
