That wouldn't have hurt if you used Keigo when you address to him, Your Japanese was quite disrespectful.

+olfursson kyllian Go there, interview him and do differently yourself.

AertPietersz Well , telling that doesn't make it up for how disrespectful this interview was , and it just tells more about how disrespectful you are yourself .
I happen to live in Japan and have been for the past 25 years i graduated from Japanese school with a major in traditional art, I do indeed speak Japanese at the same level as any other Japanese and i have met and discussed many craftsmen and i would do it myself with this gentleman if the occasion presented itself . I really do not understand the point of your comment . Do you care to elaborate instead of just asserting silly things such as "Go there, interview him and do differently yourself."
Do you think this is an intelligent thing to say, or are you trying to be sarcastic, cynical, hateful, or even more alarmingly, funny ?
I'm confused . Do you want to explain your comment or shall we leave it there ?

olafursson kyllian unfortunately it is what it is and nothing can change how it happened, however, I think he was hinting at how frivolous a comment like yours was and that if you felt it so necessary why not just go do it yourself...at least that wouldn’t be a waste of time.
