When creating a new file in Photoshop, you want to use CMYK format rather than RBG when printing. The other thing to watch out for is when photographing your art, especially with your phone is lense distortion. This can be corrected in Photoshop. You can save it as a file on a zip drive and a printshop can use that zip file when making your prints.

This was a great video in getting started in selling my art. Can you please share how you started your Etsy store?
Great help- thank you 😊

For me you accent is same as Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I have another artist friend. We were talking about this. I know many who will be interested.
what kind of print paper did u use for final result?
It's a print on cotton canvas, similar canvas that I use for painting.
Thank you for the great advice! Your information was very helpful. I have a question for you. I want to print a poem that I wrote for my daughter on a piece of watercolor paper (140#) so that I can paint a watercolor painting over the printed poem. Do you know how I can do this? I am hoping I can paint it transparent enough to still read the poem well. Any suggestions?
@joet2577 paint the paper first then email the poem to local print shop and give them the paper you want it printed on. I would call ask them if you can print on whatever size paper it is first
Very helpful video and I would like to see from from you!
🙏🏻❤️
Great video, very helpful.. I liked how you were very in-depth with your explanations, and overall process. Did you ever try Ebay, and if you did, did you find Etsy to be a better place for your art? Best wishes! :)
Yes. I wasnt considering that my art would provide income. I thought it would be my other gifts which i still think. However i want to create streams of income from all my passionate talents.
Out of curiosity, do you paint from references or from memory?
Infinitely grateful for all the insight.

Damn am I an artist looking at his 😆
Unfortunately there are no printing shops anywhere near me within hundreds of kms ,I've been trying hard to get good photos but so far none are good enough for printing
I'm wondering how many prints do you usually order at one time?
Thank you for your question. We process print orders once a week upon receiving them from customers.
How do you even get people to notice you on Etsy?
How to make a living with art please
Can't printers scan it for you?
Depends on the size of the painting.
@@AttractPassionArt just Subbed because you actually replied!! Thanks
come to the point friend
What point you are looking for?
As a printing company retired owner, we eventually refused to do any work with artists. No matter what we did the artist was never satisfied with the results. Color profiles important as they are complicated for the novice person. Therefore fussing with photo shop is useless. The CMYK mode is best. Regularly we got RGB files. Explaining how to send the file was akin to talking to a artsyfartzy brick which has no common sense. Time is money. We always lost money when an "art teest" was involved. Pronounce "third" not tuurd.
No help to anyone,
Yep.
If I wanted to buy an art print I wouldnt want a photo of the artwork. Unprofessional in my opinion.
Waste of time, I thought you were going to really explain how to make the cheapest print
waste off time
Why the annoying background music?
Very very helpful. Thank you!
You are appreciated 🙏🏻❤️
