Glad the info was helpful! FYI, I'm uploading another Injora shock review video today/tomorrow (processing at the moment) of their larger, big-bore shocks. So stay tuned! 🤙
Great follow up review! I'm going to have to give these a shot on one of my rigs. Can't beat the price! As always I really appreciate the the great info, look forward to seeing more videos! Get outside while the air qualities good my friend! 👍
Love your channel... Just pulled my vintage Pumpkin out of storage and upgrade it to show it to my son.. Question? How do you connect these shocks to the truck.. what addition hardware are you using? I have the org. stocks now.
Oh that's great Ralph! The MP is such a fun platform to start on! My very first hobby grade RC! To attach oil shocks you'll need the "U" shaped steel brackets that cme with the kit. You'll need six in total, 4 for the front front 2 for the rear uppers. Do you have them?
@@poorboysrc MP was my second RC. My introduction was a Futaba FX10 (which i still have but has a crack frame) No i don’t have them. But i see that on the lower front. I did notice on your MP the rear lowers are attached by some kind ball/screw joint. Where do find additional spare parts like the U brackets and screws/nuts. Amazon?
@@ralphpanzullo2958 you're right Ralph, your stock MP (front lower shock mount) is what you're looking for. The kits come with spares in case you decide to upgrade to oil dampers. I'm sure you can find them online, or even in one of the Tamiya FB groups. I'd offer you some if I had spares, but unfortunately I don't. As for mounting hardware I used M3 hex screws. There's plenty of nice screw sets available on Amazon if you don't have any available. The FX10 shared a chassis with another car... Tamiya Striker? I wonder if a replacement is available?
@@poorboysrc Yea, anything that came with org. box for the MP is long gone after 30+ years. (i had to strip parts from the FX10 like the steering arms from MP) I will looking on amazon. The ones in this post is on back order, but do you think the 80mm blue ones you review would fit www.amazon.com/dp/B07FS2SFQN/?coliid=I222LJZKSE5B1G&colid=1QLUUABZUDBIN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it And thanks for the tip about the Straker having the same chassis.
@@ralphpanzullo2958 I think the 80mm is too long for the front. Ok for the rear, but too much camber up front. 75mm is perfect up front! Oh, and I found this: www.ebay.com/itm/132406569086
Hi sir! I'm new to your channel and the hobby it self. Im not sure what size to get for my tamiya ford f350, can you recommend me what size of these injora shocks i should get? Thank you!
Thanks for joining my channel! 🤙 I'm not 100% sure of the shock length, could be 80 or 90 mm, but again, I'm not 100% certain. Just measure them from opening to opening and you'll get your length that way. 😁
Thank you so much for taking the time to shed some light on these intriguing shocks. I could not find any info on these. Big thumbs up

That's promising. Looks like the perfect Dampers for the ultra lightweight Tamiya Rigs!
Yeah that's exactly it, they're a perfect solution for the lightweight Tamiya's. 👊

Thanks Sean! I'm definitely impressed by the quality! Give them a shot, im sure you'll be happy! 🤙🍻
Sweet info brother! Thanks 👊
You're most welcome! 👊
Ive had good performance with injora shocks.
But, do you need to buy extra adapter for where the shock mounts to the top frame vs. the oem shock??
Shock mounting varies from kit to kit, so often times you do need to get creative in order to mount them.
I'm definitely getting these :)
You won't be disappointed! 👊
Look like good shocks. I need different shocks on my Axial Scx10 ii. Might look at these.
Can't go wrong, especially at this price point! The dual rate springs would be interesting to try on the SCX. 🤙🍻

@@reginaa.s7773 you should be fine with 100mm, if they're too long you can always return them and get a set of 90mm. 👊
what color do you use on the body
It's orange. Check out the build series in my videos section. It came out great!
Now i really think i need some on my clod.
Haha you sure do! They're great!
What length did you use?
80mm all around. I might drop them down to 75mm jist to keep the COG a little lower, but 80mm will get you back to the stock ride height.
