I'm retired and only a year younger than you. I too am a widow. I live in Iowa in a small town in a beautiful townhouse. I too have considered moving but just not in the mood right now. I get lonely as well but am considering volunteering at a historical society about 20 min. away. I love history so that would be a good fit. I am going to try and get out more to meet people. I know how you feel about dyed hair. I'm 62 now and had my light brown hair highlighted for 20 years but finally in 2018, I decided that I didn't want to maintain it or pay to have it done any longer. My hair's long, straight, and turning grey around my temples but I'm happy with my God-given light brown hair and now wonder why I spent so much time and money for so many years. For you, I would stick to your grey hair or dye it the lavender color that you love.
I like your new hair color, I think you look younger with it colored. Mine is silver white and a little over a year ago I dyed it brown and nobody liked it but I did. But I went back natural and think about coloring it all the time. You do what makes you feel the best. Great video
You have a nice place there and it's a good idea you're thinking twice about moving. There can be issues living in an apartment. A friend in San Marcos lives in a nice, newer place but still now has bedbugs. You just don't know who's going to move in and what they're going to bring with them. Another friend smells weed in her apartment. Rents keep going up too.
Wow Laurie I do the same thing, I read word for word and literally I’ll be thinking about something else at the same time so at the end of the page I don’t know anything I read so I read it over and over again. It’s comprehension. I’ve always done this. I’m so happy you are meeting new friends. You motivated me to do the same. Then I stop a little at a time and take notes and it is very helpful to me.

It is super easy to read and understand. That’s what I have and I have read through the entire New Testament and am now reading the Old Testament and it is so easy and enjoyable to read.🤗 PooDoo is so cute laying there by your harp. My dog loves to listen to me sing and would lay on my lap for hours listening. Dogs are just the sweetest.🩷 Tfs and have a great weekend!💜

Hi Laurie NLT study bible in large print it is big you won’t want to carry it around but it is easy to read and understand The most important thing is don’t study too long so you don’t loose concentration maybe just start with 20 min time slots and set a timer. Don’t over whelm yourself by trying to catch up just start from where you joined in you can always go back later don’t be afraid to ask questions and just relax and enjoy yourself love from Canada

Hi Laurie 💜Try not to be hard on yourself, and give yourself grace on the bible teachings. You can search out the topics in the book online, and get even MORE understanding on the subjects. Yeah, I can't remember stuff as well either! Happy you have new friends, and that will be great if you can play the harp there too. Maybe you can eventually have a game night at your house. As for the not moving, vs moving...you at least have the choice! Yes, rent will just keep increasing, and you own your home. THAT is a big plus, along with the SPACE that you have, extra money for fun, and the privacy. And it really seemed like a "God Thing" that the church came out of the blue right after you were talking about moving! I like to write down the Pros and Cons of anything and see which one wins, and also pray about it. Either way you will thrive I'm sure. Love all the Snoopy items. Take it easy on the projects, don't want you to hurt yourself. You are such a hard worker. You're doing great on your health journey! PooDoo looks so shiny and beautiful. Just keep moving in the back of your mind for now. Don’t forget that you’d have the money from selling the place you live now to help you live. I think Vegas is a fun place to go, but I wouldn’t like to live their either. There are lots of options for living and the best part is, you don’t have to move if you don’t want to!

Do be so hard on yourself when reading the Bible as trying to learn..think of it as an adventure Relax and ask God for HIS discernment and wisdom Take it a little at a time We all are still learning Also what has helped me is a Application Bible or study guide In fact God I know placed one in my path at the goodwill for 3.99! God not only knew I needed help but he gave this thrifter a great price and I smile about that every time I read and learn more about HIS grace love and mercy But more importantly is our relationship with him personally One on one even in the quiet while breathing which is a gift alone …HE wants to hear it all also Love you in Christ And don’t give up sharing it helps us too 😊
Hey Laurie. Its too bad you don’t like your hair color because it looks great. It does not look fake, hair dye isn’t what it was 10, 20 years ago. The products have improved so much. You really do look A LOT younger. You mentioned in one of your videos that you felt you looked like a granny and wanted to make some changes…well you dyed your hair and from my opinion it’s a great improvement and looks so much better then the gray. It’s too bad you are stuck on this grey.
