Holy crap, dave you past my old house at 2:53, Welcome to the party. Spent 4 years of childhood there. Out of the places I've seen you go. I never thought you would drive past my old house.
He should try some of the roads in WV. I have a Dually and I don't even fit on some of the Federal Highways in WV and Virginia. And they make that road look like a super highway. ;-) Lines, we don't need no stinkin lines. Just keep it between the ditches.
@@Donniec685 haha I’m australian and drove through Louisiana to Mississippi a few years ago and thought “wow Louisiana’s roads are noticeably terrible”
Here in Europe, truck drivers are super important and the countries make special roads for truckers pretty much. And if its mountanous they just keep the road leveled.
Hi Dave I love you vids and you have inspired me to get my CDL in trucking and work for CFI and make yt vids and truck in a sleeper. Keep on making great content!
Right in my part of Tennessee! I have to drive a big diesel truck on these roads and feel like I'm too big for the roads. You're killing it! Love your channel. Hope you enjoy middle Tennessee! Stay safe.
Been on smaller and curvy roads in the log truck than that. Keep your head on a swivel and watch for 4 wheelers and you will be fine. Youre a great driver.
Wow dave i really liked this video because you are actually driving and not only skipping to the backings you should really make more videos like this( just driving )
i love watching these videos and i told my mom i wanted to be a truck driver and i said it looks easy and she said its not and she asked why i wanted to be that i said i have been watching riding with dave and she said ok
Hey Dave love your videos keep up the good work. I have no idea about trucking but you have taught me so much and have kept me entertained. Stay safe out there ✌️
8:40 coming from working in trailers, let me tell you the fear of God was put into me when I was at ups and someone hooked up to the trailer I was loading and I hopped outta that trailer so fast because they tell you horror stories of drivers not checking if the trailer was ready and pulling off with people still in the back and they fall and break something. So you'd do the right thing by not starting your truck while they are in there. Because people in the back can feel just as much as you can from the front man lol
Great video. As a student at a local CDL school, your vids male me more excited about getting into trucking. You really look like you enjoy what you are doing. I hope to see you sometime out on the road!
Keep a pack of matches in your truck. When you smell a skunk, light a match. The skunk smell will be gone instantly. I use to deliver to Kingston Springs. I worked in Lebanon driving a truck for a box factory.
When I was going through CDL schooling they made us go through a lot of country roads just like that out of Wytheville Virginia so I totally get where you’re coming from yeah you got to be careful on those country roads
That was another great and awesome video as always I enjoyed it and loved it alot and wow those was some small skinny roads but you was driving down it with no problems and you took all those curves like a pro and keep up the great work man much love to you brother have a good one take care god bless stay safe out there safe travels and I will see ya on the next one catch ya later alligator
Good thing to learn from dave is time management ✌ Drive, talk to GPS, find out locations, make UA-cam videos, edit them. Dude you are so consistent loving your videos bro😎❤✌ Good going and be safe out there 💯🤠
He's nowhere near the mountains. Kingston Springs is in Cheatham County, on the west side of Nashville. Kinda between Dickson and Ashland City. He's about 200 miles away from the mountains.
Hi dave just wanted to say enjoying your trucking vids love the first person view and giving us a view of what truckers have to deal with on a daily basis and gives me a new found respect for truck drivers everywhere.
Some backroads suck but nice for a change other than interstate I enjoy the scenery especially when in Wyoming. Kansas. And Idaho the plains are some of my favorite to travel as well as the heartland of America
Gentleman I used to work for would pick us up at the bus depot and drove backroads of turns and hills of Indiana & laughed when he'd catch me looking for passenger side brakes. lol
Dave! You took the wrong turn somewhere. I follow your driving on Google maps and you were less than 5 minutes away from I-40, but you went right instead of straight! That's trucking!!! I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work and the positive energy!
Kinda unrelated to the video Dave but I’m glad trucking videos reignited your channel and you seem to be in a better place than the quitting moto vlogs video and era. It’s good to see everything is going in the direction you hoped and deserved bro!
They Didn't Say Anything After Unloading You Because No One Could Believe Someone Arrived In A Semi !! On That Road. Box Truck And Cars Following You Were Taking Lessons From You On Driving Those Narrow Hilly Roads. Great Job Dave. Thank You For Sharing Your Video. 😊
Thanks for the videos Dave. This help keeps my desire to go into trucking. I desperately want this type of job because I need to get away from family ASAP and I don't want to return home.
I hauled cars decades ago and it's true: truck drivers talk to themselves plenty. I never had a truck anywhere near that nice, but I did make good money as a union driver and always slep in nice hotels
I had just taken similar roads yesterday lol. MO 142 and MO-H going into Arkansas I had chosen to take those more or less backroads because it cut almost 200 miles off my trip Was a good experience to be honest There was also a bunch of cb traffic out there like you would have thought you were at a TA in a major city
Not gonna lie this is more interesting than most of UA-cam’s content
Yeah
Definently
Fr you can actually watch him constantly
@@timbowalk14 yep definitely can
Idk, I watch the first few minutes then I find my self fast forwarding a lot cause he Just rambles.
“God she had a BOOTY Son” out of know where cracked me tf up 😂
Dave is always very considerate of other people. Too bad everyone doesn’t act that way! You go Dave!
Wish people in pheonix drove like dave
wish people were just like dave in general
As a over the road trucker my self sometimes you really just hate people who can’t drive so he does a really good job if not getting mad so easily
True
Hi guys I’m Peter from family guy
Holy crap, dave you past my old house at 2:53, Welcome to the party. Spent 4 years of childhood there. Out of the places I've seen you go. I never thought you would drive past my old house.
“God she had a booty” while talking about angry faces behind him.
Coming from a CDL holder that lives in Tennessee this is a very luxurious road. All those fancy lines and such
He should try some of the roads in WV. I have a Dually and I don't even fit on some of the Federal Highways in WV and Virginia. And they make that road look like a super highway. ;-) Lines, we don't need no stinkin lines. Just keep it between the ditches.
Ain’t got nothin’ on these Mississippi roads
@@Donniec685 haha I’m australian and drove through Louisiana to Mississippi a few years ago and thought “wow Louisiana’s roads are noticeably terrible”

THAT'S TRUCKIN', DAVE.
16:28 lol i feel that in my bones.
I love how Dave drives a Kenworth but uses a Volvo in his intro.
Tomato, tomatoe. ;)
*Somewhere a trucker is shouting "Dems be fitin wurds!"*

@@thebard7021 Tomato Potato.
That was a bad ass back roads run. Even I was clenched up on some of those corners. Nice driving, as always.
haha we see trucks do this all the time... we also live in east tn! The roads here are jacked up and gps is like 10 years wrong.
Hahahha that creeping skunk smell. I lost it when it finally got to you.
That's TRUCKIN' Dave!
Its one of those "well I missed that" and then it hits you and takes forever to go away.
European truckers are having fun watching you getting kinda unconfortable on these roads hahahah
hahaha I did the same thing in Tennessee last summer. got a stern honking at from someone in a vette

They use those plastic tubs to put underneath docks and piers to help hold them up.
Good point with keeping truck off while being unloaded. Great videos keep them coming.
