Last year me and my buddy were at the dwc. There was an older white gentleman next to us on the right side. Two rangers came up and started searching our bags, asked for license and etc. Then they also went and look around the shore line for hidden fish. Then they went to go check the white guy and didn’t even search him. They look at his license and left. 👍
I talked to Fishermen's Warehouse in Fairfield Yesterday. They said they are catching them at Colusa on Swimbaits to 38". I was a Barge Access in West Sacramento yesterday; no luck. The FW guys said this cold snap has shut the bite down.

Holly crap! They did the full search on you! There are all kinds of property crime, prostitution, drug dealing, illegal immigrants working going on 30 minutes away, this is why CA is a screwball state and thousdands of them have move to my state and this is one of the things they say. I would not have believed it if I saw this. You are guys are fishing!! I have been fishing over 40 years and have never ever had my bags searched, just the cooler. I don't even know anyone else who went fishing that had thier bags searched like this. I was at a popular fishing spot a few weeks back and the GWs check license and coolers, not one search in anyones bags or tackel box. I am blown away.
You’re right about that. For me, not our first time GW search us like that. 2 years ago at Lake Berryessa, both of the GW runs down the hill and told us to back off our tackle like 10ft away. They thought that my rods holder bag carry had a shotgun inside. After searching all our stuff and couldn’t find anything so they just took off and didn’t even check other fishermen.
@Montejano-l7m Thank you 🙏 his pain is never going away,that’s the reason why I take him out for his therapy. He got the hernia disc since teen age and now half whole left side is arthritis.
They did that to me an my cousin up in KL twice within 9hrs first Fw ask hella dumb questions like do we have a cast net like tf we need that for n search our backpacks n second one search us n our backpacks an started askin if we had any Weapons like dam lol

Happens at hwy37 checked 3 times on his way in one,when I’m on my halfway walking back again, and third he checked me again at car, then I asked him,why’d you check me 3 times? His answer is that he doesn’t trust me cause after I got checked already,maybe some of my friends can pass their fish to me🤬 and he told a picture of my car to make sure I’m not returning back for the second trip after I caught my limit.
@ yeah mayb to many ppl poaching n they look at us all the same but just have them recorded like in this video . They will say anything to check people again but ours was 2 different Fw . Dam 3time in one day an by the same Fg to is crazy
The worse ones are the boater s catching those under size and limits Stripers hide them in their boats 🛥️ my dads friend back in 2003 off San Luis Reservoir paid a hefty fine for taking too many Stripers in one day! They got him when he was coming back for a family afternoon bathroom breaks 😢😂

CA is screwball 100% If they were drug dealers they would not have had their bags searched. I was in SJ this summer on business and all kinds of dirty dealings going on enrout to my meeting, did not see anyone of those characters selling their items get their back packs searched. The bay area is insane! My neighbor works at the court house registering vehicles and 1 out of 3 people are from CA, it is insane the amount of people moving to my county from CA and not one has one good thing to say she tells me.

I believe you,cause most of them are doing like that. But 9out10 are very kind and friendly, just ask for license and ask if we caught anything.
