Nice lap! I believe the curb at 5:15 can be attack fully without upsetting the car. It only works if you position a majority of the car on the curb. No incident points either.

It's technically possible, that's also the way I started to take that turn cause I usually min/max the track limits first.
However, over time I figured that it cost me on average about a tenth towards the next turn. For me it was less consistent cause the car still jumps a bit. If I hit the line around the curb optimally I also have a smoother acceleration, which will naturally yield some time.
That's just my experience tho, I didn't drive a race yet so idk about the top split meta there. For me the high risk/potentially no reward there wasn't worth sticking with/recommending that line.

@@crexLive After driving the corner more I now agree with your original line. It allows you to safely get on the throttle early. You cannot drive the limit if you cut the curb, which can only be discovered with experience. Solid lap as usual.

Thank you for this. I hate those first turns; I cannot seem to get any bits of them right. I think this guide will help.

Gained well over 1sec per lap and my consistency increased significantly after watching your video and applying it to my laps. Just smashed my all time track record with a 1.57.2 during a race (finished 2nd with the fastest lap). Thanks for the help, will be looking out for your next video.

the racelab telemetry of pedals is so useful but you dont use it :(

Yeah I don't use it cause it would significantly raise the production time without adding much additional value.
I'd need to record all my laps and then sync everything again, which isn't really worth it since I'm sharing my telemetry anyways. It's for free on garage61, and I'm also sharing the telemetry files on Discord so that you can use them wherever you want to and compare the telemetry to yours, which makes it way more valuable there compared to it being only on screen.

@crexLive you can just do it going forward don't need to do it from the start , most people will not go thru the hassle of downloading the ghost or watching the data in garage61 , but many will reply the video a lot of times if it has that extra telemetry data 😉

Looking at the available data I based my decision on that assumption isn't correct.
The Community Discord has a few more than 4k members and I know that there are many who use my telemetry in Motec or on other 3rd party sites cause it comes up quite often. The garage61 team started only last season and already grew to 220 members. In context with the videos, that reach roughly 1k people every first week they are up, a significant amount of people make the effort because the additional value is worth it for them.
Besides, I also want to point out that it's not like I never showcase any inputs, but I only do it when they are truly unique or follow a certain strategy/technique. This doesn't apply to 99% of turns, at almost all times you are supposed to follow the similar/same trail braking pattern so there are diminishing returns, and after a few turns that graphic would become useless/boring to watch cause the inputs are similar/identical.
Anyways, I doubt those people would reply every time, and since the various channels through which I offer my telemetry data are quite successful it doesn't really make any sense to up the production value by a significant amount for only very little and limited benefits, which are greatly outvalued by the other channels I offer.
Hope it makes sense! I also want to make clear that I don't deny this would deliver some little additional value, but in the whole context it's currently not worth it. The production time for my editing (without driving) alone is currently in the ballpark of 1 hour per minute that you finally see here. When I work on a video like this for a big part of the day, then I've to be careful with the additonal 1-2 hours this would add to the workflow.

@@crexLive makes sense I think what you trying to say is that overlays don't work on reply so it would take effort to not use the reply but record it live
