  • SEE | LOOK (AT) | WATCH - Let's compare the vocabulary and grammar.
SEE, LOOK and WATCH are some of the most common verbs in English. It's important to use them correctly so your meaning is always clear.
In today's lesson, we're going to look at three important verbs that can be a bit confusing. We are going to discuss 1) the definitions and 2) the grammar.
SEE or WATCH a movie? Is there a difference?
LOOK AT or WATCH something? Is there a difference?
Can SEE, WATCH or LOOK be used in the same way?
Let's do lots of examples together and compare the differences :)

Recently, I just learned the root "guard" means "watch" in etymology. So according to Ms. Arnel's lesson, lifeguards are ppl who pay attention to swimmers' "movement," which makes perfect sense, yay! And in house flipping shows, when the house owners return and see their renovated houses, they always exclaimed "look at that!" lol which echoes with your definition that they just "look at objects." That is, the furniture! Thank you again, nice and clear & made my day! ( btw, really curious about who that standup comedian is lol, maybe he/she has a podcast to follow? )
