    In the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too) those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed.

I marvel that science didn't figure evolution out before Darwin! It's been happening all around us all along...Lol

      Evolution was evoked (in many different ways) many times before Darwin. He is just the first one who succeeded in getting this concept accepted by a majority of scientists.

      You mean, in the layers of stratification, why is the first layer ... First? Are you asking this honestly or do you have an answer? The answer I assume is obvious from a natural explanation, I'm interested in your idea "why" or perhaps how, the first layer got there. Honestly I am. Thank you in advance.

    Darwin completely missed the point that for natural selection to occur, one must have a species to begin with; ergo ORIGIN of the species is a misnomer. Next, finches stay finches. Adaptation within a specie does not explain a change of specie any more that if a man can hop, then he can theoretically fly. Another point that Darwin did not take the time to find out is that yes, wide billed finches can produce narrow billed finches, but those narrow billed offspring can produce offspring that return to a wide billed state. No information is gained or lost. Mutations however always result in a LOSS of information. Beneficial mutations by gaining information to a DNA code have never been observed ..... something that involves adding information and is necessary to even start to change species. Bacteria that become invulnerable to Antibiotics do so because they LOSE the information that causes them to produce a certain enzyme. AND what is never said, is that these "invulnerable" bacteria never do well when returned to an environment where normal bacteria are. One cannot handcuff a man with no arms, but he will never win a climbing contest to reach the girl in the tree .........

      All life is chemistry, wait long enough with the right ingredients and it's not unfathomable to think that RNA simply arose by chance, and once RNA is formed it's not hard to take the next assumption that DNA came from that is it not? Simply look up how chemistry can create life and you'll find your answer, I'll do it right along with you :) thanks for watching.

    It's not natural selection. It's the perfection of the design of the Creator.

    • @Subfightr
      @Subfightr 3 роки тому +9

      Nature's "goal" is not perfection, it is simply to successfully reproduce, whatever helps that happen tends to be passed down, these traits have flaws of their own but it's clearly an unguided bottom up tinkerer that is evolution, and not a top down perfect being trying to create other perfect beings. If I were religious I would see this as an argument that my perfect being was not so perfect afterall.
      By all means, say there's a God who "made the big bang bang" or perhaps the God set the wheels of evolution in motion, all unprovable claims but, meh, whatever. But saying it's the perfection of the design of the creater is not just a demonstrably incorrect statement, it takes away from the beauty that is nature/evolution.
      After all, "there is grandeur... In this view of life" "all the things most beautiful and most wonderful, have been, and are being... Evolved" - Charles Darwin

      Hate to break it to you a theory in science is something that has astronomical evidence and has never been disproven. Also evolution is a law (changes occur) the theory of evolution just describes how species came to be.

      @@Spolt_main How exactly is the information of needing a shorter or longer beak recorded in the bird so that the offspring are born with new traits that bias towards the beneficial trait versus further from it?

    • @rickkwitkoski1976
      @rickkwitkoski1976 4 роки тому +11

      @@justingreen8006 Genes. In DNA. DNA has random changes to to ALL the time! The changes can be beneficial, neutral or harmful to the next generation of the organism. Those changes that just happen to confer a benefit to the organism means that it most likely will produce more offspring and carry the beneficial changes forward.
      The changes that are carried forward (or are neutral) are not carried forward randomly. The fact that they confer a benefit to the organism is what is called "natural selection".
      This video is pretty simplistic. And Spolt above doesn't have it right either. He/she is muddying the whole story.
      A Scientific Theory is an EXPLANATION of a phenomenon that is backed up by mountains of data and evidence.
      A Scientific Law is a DESCRIPTION (often a mathematical one) that allows us to predict what is going to happen based on that law.
      And then the canard about "If there is a LAW, then there has to be a LAW GIVER!" - NO!
      Unlike human laws that are devised to govern human behaviour (Though shalt not commit adultry!) so are prescriptive in nature, scientific laws are descriptive in nature and devised by humans to quantify the phenomenon that a theory explains.

    Why are we the only species that have gone to the moon and back?
    Why are we the only species that worship God?

    • @bleach4052
      @bleach4052 3 роки тому +3

      Evolution is a very slow process. So the odds of another species to evolve in the same way as us at the same time as us is very unlikely.

    • @Subfightr
      @Subfightr 3 роки тому +1

      Many other species communicate very effectively, one could easily say they have their own complex language could they not?
      We write our history because we have stories to tell and pass down be they true or false stories. We are a basically helpless creature who eventually was forced to manipulate it's environment to suit it's needs, or die. Talking, writing history, etc you can see that All of these abilities had a very primitive form, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if our relatives from the future might dig up our works and think... "What a primitive creature, look how it texted on the internet like a group of trolls, why didn't they use use" (whatever superior method they come up with by then) these are all natural processes are they not?
