I bought this light in May 2024, for a Juwel Vision 450 litre tank, and so pleased with it..just ordered another for the back of the tank..size is great and handy with the extended arms either side👍🏼
Thank you so much! It would have taken me forever to figure out how to do this using only the provided instructions. your tutorial saved me. Thanks again.
Can’t beat these Nicrew c10s for the price and quality of color, spectrum, customization etc. The 24x7 with custom inputs per specific time is pretty great but I find the stock 24x7 configuration pretty good for prob 75-80% of the tanks out there. I have the stock configuration on 2 of my tanks a 75 and a 90 gallon and works great for a planted tank and I did a custom 24x7 on my 60 breeder and 60 cube due to the species of fish and for some color variation in my fish room. Just be sure to set your 24x7 on the correct time of day as the poster/video creator showed or else your likely to have blues in the am and full white brightness in the pm, “Murphy’s Law” Great video and I’m glad a Nicrew product was shown, specifically the lights which I think are some of the best on the market considering the price, quality, customization ability and the included wireless remote. I'd like to get this light for a reptile tank but rather than change colour with each time I'd like it to be off overnight, then dimmed and slowly get brighter, then dim again and switch off as the day ends. Is that possible with this light?
It's like the programmers never use their product. So to adjust the brightness you need about 30 button clicks because you need to adjust the brightness of each light color.
Hey! Yes, it does reach max brightness during its mid point on default for a few hours. If you want max brightness for a longer or shorter time you can customize the 24/7 cycle.
Great. My problem is programming the lighting duration in 24/7 mode. Example: Start 1pm, End 10pm. Twilight each half an hour. So you see, my main problem is not the coloring.
Hi, do you mind if I ask a few questions? - on the 24/7 mode, the moon mode is THAT what the light will show for basically, 12hours during night? Or does the strip turn off? - Do the plants ignore the moon mode? - If the location of the tank is in a cellar, can I trip my whole setup to be on at night? and off in day time? (and stick to that of course). - IF I choose to edit any of the RGB´s in certain 24/7 time slots, would that effect the spectrum for the plants? or is the lamp designed to always throw the correct spectrum for the plants, aside from the moon mode? Thanks for your time, hope all is well.
The moon mode turns off at 10pm on the unedited 247 mode. Not sure how the moon mode effects plants.. You could have it set so that 12am is 12pm and essentially have it on at night and off during the day without having to customize it. If you edit the rgb then it does impact the light intensity. Each color has levels from low to high. Obviously the lower intensity will be best to keep algea at bay and higher intensity will help grow more light demanding plants. Hope this helps!
I set my 12am to be completely blacked out & turn back on at 6am in the 24/7 mode but when it's in 12am mode it turns red instead of being completely blacked out is there a fix so I can keep it blacked out until 6am ?
It's great! I've never used the hygger light so I can't give a proper comparison but I have nicrew on 5 of my fish tanks and all are doing great. The light doesn't get really hot like some other brands and it works really well on my planted tanks
It could be in 24hr mode. Most of the buttons do not work when it's in 24hr mode. Try turning off the 24hr mode and then try the other buttons. Let me know if that works
I set up my nicrew c10 on custom 24/7 mode with the intentions of it to turn off by midnight at first I set it to just blue light by midnight and it didn’t turn off at all then I changed it so that it’s off at midnight and blue at 10pm however it still does not turn off and goes to a red light which stays on all night how do I fix this? I’ve been manually turning it off and back on when I get up but that’s not a great solution as that time fluctuates throughout the week depending on the day and is never the time I had it set to turn on automatically I could revert back to default 24/7 I haven’t tried it at night to know if the problem persists with that mode or not but I’d rather have the custom 24/7 function is there another button I must use to set the light to turn off when setting up my custom 24/7? Any help appreciated I’ve tried looking it up online but couldn’t find anything
Thanks for explaining everything! The poor fish must've been so confused btw when the light kept changing every few seconds. lol
Haha! The light gods can't make up their mind!
Great explanation on the settings
The instructions on how to customise so helpful so much clearer than the instructions in the box
Glad it was helpful
Right! The manual just expected me to know that it had customizable lighting for each time slot!
Added a like/thumbs up, great video and you nailed the directions for those who don’t have a manual or refuse to read it, 😂
Thank you so much for going more into details!
Read the manual and was like 🤔
Lol
Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much i was not understanding the manual that came with it

Thank you for the really good and understandable explanation of the functions. Greetings from Germany ✌

Glad the video was helpful!
So informative, thank you! Was researching this light and after your video I'm buying it 😅
Glad it was helpful! I am enjoying mine
Thank you!! I was so confused on how to use the remote!

Thanks, I am a pretty big fan of Nicrew
Thanks for posting. Just misplaced my manual and it helped a great deal. Nicely done.
Glad it was helpful!
It does make a difference in performance as the aluminum frame dissapates heat better! Thanks for the video!
Hello friend, excellent explanation, thank you very much for the video. Do you happen to know what the “M” button on the remote control is used for?
I'd like to get this light for a reptile tank but rather than change colour with each time I'd like it to be off overnight, then dimmed and slowly get brighter, then dim again and switch off as the day ends. Is that possible with this light?
Nicrew are great lights but their controls seems unnecessarily complicated.
It's like the programmers never use their product. So to adjust the brightness you need about 30 button clicks because you need to adjust the brightness of each light color.

Was super helpful, thanks for putting together. Very well done. Do you know if the light reaches max strength during its default 24/7 cycle?
You can set the light duration by programing the colors to be at the lowest setting during each the off hours. Hope this helps!
@@thedirtytank Great, it works🤗🤗🤗🤛💪
Great to hear!
Thank you so much for the video. I received the 24 " light today. I like the factory 24/7 to go on at 8 AM and go off at 8 PM. Is that possible?

How's the light doing ? I want to buy this light for 26 gallon cube tank , will it be better choice than hygger?
It's great! I've never used the hygger light so I can't give a proper comparison but I have nicrew on 5 of my fish tanks and all are doing great. The light doesn't get really hot like some other brands and it works really well on my planted tanks
I forgot thus came with a remote 😂 I thought this thing was broken
I’ve replaced my batteries and I still can’t get the remote to work. Did you have to pair it or anything?

The only good thing is it's cheap. Basically useless without the remote and there is no bluetooth app.
