2002 World Cup Quarter Final ! Primorac Zoran against Ma Ling Table Tennis
Hi Everyone, I was @ World Cup 2017 !
Training With MA LONG, LIN GAOYUAN, Timo BOLL, Koki NIWA, MIZUTANI, GAUZY, ASSAR, NUYTINCK, WANG HAO, ROSSKOPF, CHUANG.... Private Record and Short Form ► bit.ly/2zJNWsZ
Pretty impressive match. Primorac was pretty much the dominant one here, having most of the control over the game.
Hardly any other players except China can match ma Lin at this time. Simply fantastic.
Zorane, zelimo ti sve najbolje na 7. OI u Londonu. Zoran, we wish you all the best at your 7th Olympic games!!! Give your best and good luck. In Beijing, it was fantastic to see Persson and Primorac fighting for the bronze medal.
i really liked the technique of these old timers , simple yet very effective against penholders
I never liked primorac but he was absolutely stunning in this match. Great Player of 2 generations.
I feel like this is a textbook example of how to play against penhold, especially Ma Lin
Yes. Down the line block to the forehand side of the penholder. That's a classic!
Not just penholder but also forhand players who rely on pivots to win points.
Elegancia és hatékonyság! ZORÁN PRIMORAC!
So impressive the play by Primorac, beating Ma Lin here, 10 years after he won this event.
I just love the way Ma lin throws up hes bat when he loses :D
Did anyone else notice how Ma Lin changed his shirt sometime in the middle of the video? I was watching and suddenly thought, "Wait a minute....something is different" haha
Primorac was giving him a workout!
he changed it so fast!
tjbanville Primorac changed too!
Good and relevant analyse. Ma Lin remains a big spin monster in 2012.
I cant remember the last time I saw ma lin loose against some european player (except timo boll..and waldner)
He also lost to Jens Lundqvist.
the sounds in this video sounds like some old super nintendo sports game
Very good match
Zoran's flips are pretty damn awesome
When the ball has medium to low under-spin, he flips it like a mini smash. Flipping to win the point is outrageous.
seriously, bring back youtube's five star rating system!!
Absolutely in line !!!
Pure technics touch from 'Zoki' T_T
i started playing about year and half a go but speed glue looks so fun
i like the serve of zoran and the way he roars hehe
good vids man~ thanks!
such a joy of watching ping pong from old days. It just gets boring and boring now
Yes. Lots of variations in older players. Now it's all the same except some players
Could you please update full match?
The crowd is great.
@tyoungos ...and don't forget the Korean T-Rex, Oh. His BH blocking placement is also legendary.
Saw more killer points by Ma Lin in this video BUT Primorac was leading in almost every SET.
Chinese democracy... ^^
0:03 amazing spin and speed, speed glue comeback please! *____*
why does Ma changed shirt?
I don't really like Primorac... but what an awesome player he was
@tyoungos yeah.but they are not dinosaurs.waldner is about 42 and primorac is about 34.but still they have let themselfs go
@raidenkk thats aso stupid question.you try move so fast so much.you know there is this one thing, when you do exausting work you get sweaty
Looks like primorac also changed his shirt 🙂
wow i never knew primorac could play this well. was he amazing on this day or was ma lin having an off day?
Hahahaha, Primorac won silver Olympic medal in doubles in 1988 when he was 19 years old...and many other things...including silver team match for Yugoslavia in World championships in Chiba, beating Waldner 2-0...but You did not know he could play that well in 2002 :-)...legendary
@@ConeDaRagusa Yup,he was great but always chocked in big matches against players that he normally owned like Kim Taek Soo.Eastern Europe has produced many wasted talents.
@@dickn.ormous1064 "wasted talents" :-)..18 medals combined at Olympics, WC, EC..competed at 7 Olympic Games..plus winning European club champions league numerous times...
@@ConeDaRagusaSchlager won the WTTC with half of Primorac's talent. And it's not like he trained harder than him 'cause he didn't...
@@dickn.ormous1064 you are familiar with both of their training scheduls and methods? "Half the talent"?? Maybe on that level talent is not decisive? So, Boll and Samsonov also did not win WTTC in singles..and probably also they are more talented than Schlager? So, maybe Schlager is indeed talented if he trained equally "hard" as others? Or it is not about how "hard" you train but also how you train? So, my conclusion would be that none of the mentioned player had wasted their talents, they just achieved what they achieved. Obviously Samsonov and Boll have stronger results than Primorac and Schlager but still all of the mentioned were and still are extremely successful and talented and dedicated players who all trained hard and with good experts to achieve such results.
It was in China...you wouldn't find Croatians rooting for Ma Lin.
nice
Does Ma Lin only use one side of the paddle?
He uses both sides but mostly the forehand.
lol at the fart 0:38
when the croatian cevape with ayvar and extra onions hit you!!
0:38
lol whats with all the jersey changes?
its astonishing really, how ALMOST bad ma lin was back then compared to now and how incredible primorac played back then!
Ma Lin almost bad in 2002 ? He was like world #2 just behind Wang Liqin back then. In 1999 he is finalist at the WTTC, in 2000 he already won his first world cup, in 2002 he won the pro tour grand finals. Ma Lin was already a super monster in 2002.
Lol get your facts straight
@tyoungos Ma lin is not a dinosaur. He is thirty-two, and number seven in the world. Know your facts.
Japanese are not far. Oh Sang Eun is ok as well ;-)
Ma lin unimpressive against this player...he was beaten tactically.
0:01 lol
Ma Lin’s footwork is not as fast as Ryu Seinf Min.
primorac too much power for rice eater!
@08nessh i would get sooo many bitches if i was as cool as you.
古い!
