Really, that's what you find interesting, the pattern in the muzzle is cool. Not these are great US marksmen with incredible skill.

Nice to know walking fire is still a thing despite how old the concept is.

Its an old concept but needs to be trained in order to be good at it. Especially because when my unit trains we train to bound so we sprint then take a knee or prone and then shoot so shooting a moving on line does take some training.
They’re not practicing a “walking fire”..that’s an old military tactic that’s not used anymore lol. They’re just practicing for accuracy at the range.

Happy to see the 1911 is still being used here...well they call it the M45 but still great to see an iconic weapon still being used...
Its also outdated by today's current technology
@@773tacticalboy I have to agree it is outdated..but tbh I love the feel of the 1911/45...dispite the age it still has the greatest feel on the grip..it has the best feel on the trigger and perhaps it's the safest pistol to carry..
I've carry a 1911 for more than 10 years..I made comparisons with other pistols and the 1911 is still the best...for me that is...

@@jacksonswenson3210 The 1911 is still the gold standard for combat handguns. Why else would Delta Force operators carry it? 110 years, and she’s still got at least another 110 more in her!

Are Marines allowed to customize their M4A1s more than the other service branches?
The guy in the first minute has a pretty decked out M4; Magpul SL stock (either an SL-K or SL-M), ERGO Rail Extension, Tango Down short foregrip (I think), a Magpul Battery Assist Device lever, and what appears to be an Aimpoint optic instead of a Trijicon ACOG.
I love that M45. Just such a nice 1911.
The finish on the military ones is shit. flakes off and causes a lot of jams

The ones that got issues a few years ago had some serious issues and would flake off and cause them to gum up and need a lot of lubrication which can attract dirt and dust. Colt fixed this problem later on and the second shipment of guns were corrected. The civilian versions were the corrected model and are really nice guns.

Recon has been running high cuts since 2012. It's all shooter preference. Notice some in this video have MICH's as well.

It could be a sleeve/pouch for a breaching tool, such as a hammer or pry bar. I can't say if that's what its for, but it appears that way since its open at the top/bottom.

Correct, those are KAC, not DD rails; DD RIS II rails have the 6-bolt system. Also, the RIS II is only issued by SOCOM, and MARFORRECON is not under SOCOM.

Every Marines is trained with safety in mind and also to trust each other. You can also see later in the video, the Marines aren't wearing anything but their combat shirts.

Safety does come first. Are people who go to public ranges without armor or helmet unsafe?
The only real reason to wear a helmet during there drills is to train as you fight. So that your used to shooting with your equipment on. It's not for safety at the range.

Its either a kac ris rail with ergo rail extension or a kac mre rail

It was a mix. Some had aimpoint comp 4 some had ecotech and the one had a low powered 1-6 or 8 it looked like. They tend to be able to use there own or whatever is in stock from what I was told

That's just the high ready position, it's a preference thing, for some people they get on target faster.
This is CQT pre-training. High ready has been proven to be safer and allow quicker target acquisition when stacking on doors. Low ready is only used in CQB nowadays in low tier units that don't train enough to not flag each other's domes.

新規開発・調達は議会の予算承認が下りないから、未だに旧式装備を使用しています。
ただし銃身以外は新規パーツで、改修という建前でも中身はほぼ別物でしょうね。

This shit is badass but what can you do after this for a career and is it worth the training?
You could move to MARSOC or become a bro vet, like most Marines.
Generally you don’t have very many transferable skills. If you’re ready for a round 2, PMC work. If you’re good at marketing and business, offer training services to civilians and law enforcement. If you want to move on… tough luck, not many professions are compatible with violence.
So no, not worth the 4 years enlisted, 4 years reserve, risk of death, and potential lasting physical/mental injury for decades. Most people join elite light infantry because they want to, not because they are planning for retirement or making money.
