Defo try some weedless options. I'd use a small ish shad with a curve shank weedless hook. No weight so it doesn't sink to fast. The next video we're realising has a ton of soft bait options. Check it out when it drops in the next week I'm sure it will help 👌🏼
The Zilla has absolutely smashed it for me this year; I hadn't had a blank till last week. Love the video...... Can you do a summer surface episode? The most exciting way to fish Pike and Perch IMO, with those heart stopping takes :)
Might be worth taking a look at drop shotting guys, as you mentioned the drop shot pack. It took me a little while to get the hang of it but was well worth it! All the best.
Do you find that the zilla gliders paint jobs are a bit rubbish? I had one that hadn’t even been bitten by a pike have a lot of the paint flake off in the same areas as yours. They look like bite marks but they definitely wasn’t
Can't say we e had many issues with the paint jobs. Sometimes we hit a wall or a bridge or something with them and that chips the paint. Other than that we kinda love the paint work 😁 especially the golden rudd colour!

Quick question what's the best place to order those zilla flankers those are sick lures dude I'd love to try one I have alot of Savage gear stuff but I've never even heard of that zilla till I came across one of your vids. One more thing pike love lipless crankbaits idk if you guys use those but they're a bass lure here in the states. That being said I've caught more pike on those than anything else sexy shad color or I guess a perch/shiner color for you guys maybe we could trade a zilla for a couple strike king red eye shads??
Damn it, wish i'd seen this video before. I got a follow off a big pike using a spinnerbait and thought i had spooked it. Never occured to me to use it as a search bait then change the lure. Lesson learned
I have a 4-24g casting weight rod which is usually for perch. I wanna catch a pike on it but don’t wanna go over the casting weight so is there any lures below 24g that’ll catch pike?
Of course! Just remember that your rod won't be as strong as a Pike rod. So if a big pike comes along your rod will be bent right over maybe even snap. So be careful. 👊🏼
