I agree with everything she has said on this series except Star rating. I really think the first one was 3 star and the next 3 were 5 stars. The first one seems to be a bit hard to follow. But throughout each book it got better and better in the writing sense. Books 2, 3, and 4 were by far my favorites. Read them each in 2 days time! That’s just my first take. Maybe I will have to go back and read the first one again who knows 🤷🏾
A question I have for you is, did you cry as well in this book???? I’m guilty as charged 🫣 please tell me I’m not a wimp and everyone else felt the same 😆

I have this one ready to read. I bought it on the day it came out - after having loved the first three so much. Not sure if any one else is ever odd like this -- but I have not started it yet -- because I am looking forward to it too much. I feel like I need to pick the perfect time to start it!

I thought it was a wonderful book. Different in tone, but this is the culmination of a character arc that has gone through the whole series, and shouldn't come as a surprise. I love all the characters so much. Good job giving an honest review with no spoilers.

What is the title of the first book in this 4 part series called? I started reading The Bullet That Missed and also The Man Who Died Twice a while back but quickly lost interest in both. I was reading another in tandem on both occasions which may suggest a half -hearted engagement? I am now approaching the end of The Last Devil to Die and I have to admit I have thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Am now looking forward to returning to the other two once I have red book one.
