@@DGPianoUK Haha, I appreciate my emotions being manipulated like this hehehe No, seriously, I do. Your arrangements do manage to convey emotions very well and that's what I love most about music Hopefully I do manage to get good with piano in the future haha ^^
Wonderful cover Daniel! If anyone hasn't played this game, they really need to. It's a masterpiece unlike anything I've ever experienced before. And as always, thank you for providing the sheet music! I'll start working on it tomorrow :)
This is one of the best arrangements of this that I have ever heard. Perfect performance, too! Definitely gonna put that on the list of songs to learn for me :D
I saw this on my feed and in seconds I was about to cry. Your arrangements of SoT are so important to me, and now this... Outer Wilds is the most beautiful piece of art I can think of. Playing this will be an absolute blast. Thanks a lot
@@DGPianoUK I love them sm bc they're so emotional. The story behind Becalmed is also very touching (I strongly advise anyone who doesn't know it to search for Glitterbeard). Your arrangements allow me to play theses songs, feel better, feel them. Idk if it's kinda clear but anyway, thx a lot!
I love this game and this main theme so much. Fantastic job, I was so excited to see this show up in my sub box today! I really love how full and atmospheric this sounds, and the original harmonies are really beautiful.
You hit the nail on the head, there’s a lot of subtle harmonies and Melodie’s that I heard after multiple times listening to the original and I wanted to give it try and recreate it as full as I could.
@@DGPianoUK I think the soundtrack is more impactful during gameplay but it's not the biggest deal if you listen to the soundtrack first. Context is key after all. I think "Timber Hearth" would be a perfect fit to arrange. The whole song just feels like home.
@TheYoshiBrawler Very true, I think this applies to most art. For example the theme from Jaws has so much more menace when accompanied by the visuals. It’s interesting because if I listen to the soundtrack before playing the game I will create my own context and emotions. Like in the last 12 bars of the main theme that horn keeps repeating a little motif almost sounds like an alarm but gives me feelings of hope and pride. Maybe it has a different context in the game.
@@DGPianoUK Listening first before playing is totally valid for the reason you gave. You can make your own context and then compare with what you learn about it after. The soundtrack speaks for itself very well.
@@DGPianoUK I know I'm not the original comment, but The Nomai is a really cool darker sounding one, The first part of 14.3 billion years is really beautiful and has a good amount of piano featured in it, it makes me tear up. The Sun Station is one of my favorites but I'm not sure if that would translate very well to a piano arrangement. But I agree, you should absolutely play the game, its fantastic.
Beautiful arrangement. This game is one of the best games I've ever played, I would love to see more arrangements from it! Also, have you ever looked at doing arrangements for Halo?
I love your work this is amazing. I would absolutely love for you to cover other songs from this amazing games, particularly "Echoes of the eye" and "River".
@@DGPianoUK Similar to harvest moon if you've played those, but modern and a lot more content. It's about $15 CAD and I have maybe 500 hours in it. Very relaxing game, and excellent music to go with it.
After having played tunic, I plan to make this my next life changing adventure game. I’m just…waiting for the right time to play it on a device that works 😂😂
I've learned another arrangement of this already, but screw it I can't leave this one hanging! (I will absolutely need a digital tutorial from you sometime)
Where’s that, like Bleak Inlet 😃. There is a lot of ambient music in the long dark and I did think once if it was worth playing it. I must get around to tales of the far territory music
Dan you're gonna make me cry, please 😭😭
Amazing cover, I love it * continues crying *
That’s my job Gwen….to make you cry. Haha. Seriously though, thanks for your continued support

finally a cover that really conveys the emotion of the main theme without also being not possible for a human to play! thank you
Haha thankyou so much.
I know what you mean, and not just this game. I’ve seen some outrageous arrangements where you would need 5 hands to play 😂
This was such a joy to arrange and perform. Definitely one to keep in my repertoire
Reading these comments ypu are all so passionate about this game…..I sense a real strong community
I would knock myself out and give myself amnesia just to experience this game blind again
@CannedHam145 I know the feeling with other games I used to play

@strwg7594 I understand, thanks for sharing. Never heard of Glitterbeard actually. I’ll google him
This is one of the best arrangements of outer wilds music I've heard! I hope you do more; this one was lovely!
Thankyou, sorry for the late reply. I have been listening to this album and yes will like to do more
Really enjoyed the pacing and dynamics on this performance, very beautiful cover 👏
Wonderfully played!
I have such good memories of this game!
I heard it’s amazing but unfortunately I have no memories of it. I will definitely play it now though
Oh wow! Did not expect Outer wilds! I love this game and I love your arrangements, so glad to see this!
Everybody seems to love this game! I do like to throw some surprise tracks out every now and then
