It has come to my attention that the screen has cut off some of the low notes at a few points. I sincerely apologise and hope that if you are trying to learn this then you can figure those parts out. I’m mainly just playing octaves in the left hand at those points.

This is the sort of music that makes me want to lock myself in a darkened room after I've had a bad day and lie in bed, just listening to it on loop until all the tension is drained out of me. Ha! Ha! HA! Thanks so much for this Daniel!

Woah! This is awesome! It’ll keep me busy for a while, but this one is definitely going on my future song list.

I do want to point out that there might have been two visual errors at the 1:10 and 1:20 marks with the left hand

@@danielsaenz5570 oh no I see it now. The screen seems to have cut off the low note. That’s a pickle. Hopefully people will realise it’s just I’m just playing an octave in the left hand. Can’t really change it now but thanks I will be more careful in future

@@Gwen_Hemoxia that’s wonderful to hear because trying to get the best sound has been my weakness and I’m always worried about it as crazy as it seems. Mixing is a bit of a mystery to me and I seem to be fumbling my way through like being lost in fog 😂

@DGPianoUK Haha speaking as an artist fumbling through drawings, I totally understand that haha
But yeah, it sounds good, definitely! I think the sound on this, for example, is rich and complex but not too noisy ; it's interesting! Give yourself more credit haha

I've just watched couple classical music videos like this one and even tho patterns of modern game/anime/whatever ost's sometimes may seem very similar, the sound and moods and emotins still are very different. Like i cant imagine something with harmonies like in minecraft was written in times of Mozart and Tchaykovsky. What exactly is a distinction ? What are your, as a musician, thoughts on this ?

It’s an interesting question and off the top of my head I’ll try to answer. From a theory point of view in western music there are a finite number of notes, scales and chords and music from classical all the way to modern will definitely share the same things there’s no doubt about it. Beethoven and C418 have both used a C Maj Chord. Now there are some game soundtracks that will sound more “Classical” than others….Ori and the Blind Forest comes to mind.
I think of Minecraft as a soundscape, there’s a lot of emotion through different textures and it’s kinda got a freedom to it. There’s a lot of repetition and it has this subtleness to it as the music is in the background a lot of the time.
It’s very different from Classical music which is very structured and formal, following rules with chord progressions, cadences and key changes. There are lots of long melodic lines which you don’t really find in Minecraft.
      Hope this makes sense
