The reason why I watch other creators is because of their personalities. ACTUALLY entertaining creators are people who can make the most boring things fun, but their reactions and commentary feels so fake. 😭
What was annoying about this was the complete overreaction from everyone in that room and on the internet. Like saying something that sounds negative about that dude was morally forbidden in the court of public opinion. Jack didn't even say anything scandalous, he came to that conclusion paying attention to his place of work for over a decade
@@cathl4953 I think they just knew that since he's a really popular creator that people would take it the wrong way. But again not liking someone or their content is very different from hating them as a person
And I hate it when people defending mr beast always bring up about his charities? Oh, charity with camera shoving on poor people faces to capture their reaction get the money after doing monkey dance for his channel? Yes, really generous of him 🙄
I was against Jack on this as well tho, because all the points he made about Mr. Beast was the same things he was doing (as far as the over the top thumbnails and always pretending to have fun)

@@FullMoonOctobersince when was Pewdiepie doing the same things Mr. Beast is doing? I'm no PewDiePie fan but Pewdiepie was never hungry on views and money. He was always having fun on his content (Fridays w/Pewdiepie, Story time w/Pewdiepie, Meme Review, LWIAY, Reddit Review, PewNews, Gaming) along with his other personas (Poppy Harlow, etc.) He was never an attention seeking money muncher like Mr. Beast. He's always in the comfort of his own home together with his wife and collabs with his Friends.
I really hate that charity = can't say anything negative about him So many awful people donate to charity cause it's such an easy thing to make you look like a good person
Al Capone, the infamous mobster who had tons of people killed, used charity to create a good image of himself in the public. It's a classic tactic that always works
Jacksepticeye Was Spot on With his Reasoning on why he hated Mrbeast. Also on how he 100% predicted on mrbeasts entire motive and schemes is just so Jaw Dropping
he has good intuition. others like him were always speaking out about how they feel about Jimmy. what is happening is just frequency bias. most were pro-beast and assumed anyone who criticized him was just "a hater". its easy to look back now and have context and go "oh look, a profit" but Jack is just some guy speaking his opinion. people were always critical of mr beast, you just now became cognitively aware of it.
He's not even that smart (unlike jackseptikeye, who is), he's just obsessed with this one thing: power. He was straight up saying that he's not funny and witty like other youtubers, but completely convinced that it doesn't matter if it's not how to make the most money! Psycho..
@@pyerack Same here.Ive been watching him since he used to make Those vine videos.Like the one where he screams in class and smiles is so hilarious to me
There’s a thing about jimmy that I feel no one really talks about (maybe everyone already knows and I’m just dumb but) and it’s just how fragile jimmy’s ego is. This occasion with jack is one caught but also when Keith Lee reviewed feastables with jimmy and told him they’re not good, you can visibly see cracks in jimmy’s ego, and the same goes for Tommyinit reviewing beast burger with jimmy and also calling it shit. The fact that the largest creator on the planet has such a fragile ego is just so ironic and funny. Edit: I meant fragile instead of smallest at the end of my statement.
he was seen as THE greatest youtuber on the platform even after what Jack said he was youtubes golden boy, so when being criticized, he has no idea how to respond, lol. Also, his bars are mediocre. They taste like old cheap Halloween candy. They got that "American chocolate" taste but somehow much more strongly compared to regular chocolate.
Naw dawg I agreed, I just didn't want to start fights with people. The very same video where Jack says his take is proof on it's own that Beast wasn't a goodie boy. Jack was put in a very unfair spot. If he lied he'd look like a coward and risk his career to drama, if he was honest he'd risk his career to drama. Beast and his crew could've ended the man's livelihood over a single video. What kind of person does that?
I think while MrBeast played a large part of making YT soulless, I feel that there are many other people that are also to blame. To be honest YT was always going to become “soulless”, every platform at sometime in its life span becomes less social and more money driven.
I never liked Mr.Beast ever since. There is something odd in him "having fun"doing YT content. You can see it into his eyes. Unlike PewDiePie, Jacksepticeye and Markiplier. They really enjoyed doing their content. And those UA-camrs I really still watch in YT until now.
@@blackdeath0973 plus that one tweet where he talks about how he's constantly busy and pretty much always filming. That shit does not sound fun at all to me lmao
Ive never watched a mr beast video but i always thought the way he smiles in the thumbnails is unsettling is hell. I swear it activates some old primate instinct in me that sees baring teeth as a death threat
Yeah the main reason why I never wacht any of his video until he did the video with 50 youtuber was because of the thumbnails no only I hate those type of thumbnails but the way he smile...
The reason why you feel that way is because the way he smiles is performative. He smiles with his mouth, not his eyes. It’s pretty common for sociopaths to not smile genuinely with their eyes, which makes them look empty and mismatch whatever facial expression they’re trying to make. They could try to put the effort into smizing with their eyes by moving the right muscles and practicing in the mirror to look genuine but it’ll usually still look fake because humans can always tell something’s missing and that it feels like there’s not real emotions producing that facial expression.
It's not even ADHD Editing that Mr. Beast popularized. I know people with ADHD who hates Mr. Beast content purely because of the way the videos are edited. "The way it's edited isn't meant to keep you hooked, it's meant to overwhelm you. It's meant to leave you feeling confused but because you hear all the laughing, the people "having fun", the loud noises that make you think it's anything special, you think it's good. They drown you in artificial hype coupled with obnoxious noises and bright colors. It's a nightclub experience but for babies."
@@danialyousaf6456 I didn't disagree about his editing style, I just said his content is actually good unlike someone's. Also that's a you issue, like it has nothing to do with anyone else, if you had a seizure you need to get that checked out.
SAME they just won't let me soak up and digest the info before jingling another set of keys in front of my face like I'm a baby whose attention span is too short
I feel like my ADHD actually makes me enjoy long-form content MORE. It's so easy for me to get completely enraptured in something and just lose myself in a topic. I've watched hour-long video essays in one sitting. This idea that ADHD=Short Attention Span is NOT always true. ADHD honestly just makes you more prone to distractions, because your brain can't really multitask and every new input gets processed individually. HOW LONG does distractions last is an entirely personal thing.
People watched Mrbeast because people felt like they owned him something. "But he gave water to Africans, how can I not support him with my sub and views?" It's more like a moral obligation than thinking "hey, I'm too old for this kind of content".
Charity work does not exempt someone from critique ... Jimmy Saville, Al Capone, and Pablo Escobar all donated to charity and promoted them ... and they were MONSTERS.
Idk, I feel like older people would see through his many many bullshits, I can’t imagine watching him dangling money in the face of people in need for entertainment and not think “this doesn’t feel right”
Even with his charity videos and video titles did I once felt the need to watch. I think it comes to the fact that his videos just didnt attractme as much also fortunately didn't have any revenue to give him donations. The ones I felt like giving donations are usually towards Ironmouse and Connor charity stuff. Mr.Beast just didn't make me feel like doing that it's just weird
If anything though i miss like 2013-2016 era of UA-cam before the apocalypse The really Early days of UA-cam was a nightmare for gaming because game publishers would copyright strike videos of their games and you aren't gonna be able to monetize without help of someone like machinima back in the day because the partner program wasn't a thing yet
The problem with MrBeast is that he isn't a real human being, at least not anymore. By his own admission, he gave up his personality to optimize performance of his content. He spends every waking moment of his life focused on making bigger and more expensive videos. He doesn't date because he worries that the time spent with someone would equate to money lost. He doesn't spend any time learning or growing as an individual, no time discovering new hobbies or relationships, it's just content content content every waking moment. Is a person even human anymore when they live that way? Only robots live that way. He's a tragic case of how the "growth-above-all-else" mentality of the modern world can corrode your soul until you're nothing but an empty husk. MrBeast himself admitted that he doesn't advocate anybody else live the life he does because he isn't happy. He's just a hollow vessel for the corporate spirit of modern UA-cam. Frankly, you could make a whole Black Mirror episode out of him. Also, his content sucks.
Yea people don’t discuss it much, but Jimmy has gone on record more than once to talk about how he had his work consume his life for years. He’s genuinely got nothing left for himself then this shit. His content at least served a positive purpose societally but now it doesn’t even do that
with the document being leaked and the recent allegations, im 100% sure jack is a fortune teller, he literally saw through jimmy and read him like a book
just a solid intuition for someone that does the same thing(youtube). just like how most veteran creators can instantly tell if someone is faking their energy or not
“If he enjoyed it the videos would be longer” when jack said this i just think about the sidemen cuz they both are irl channels, they both do challenges and usually have money at stake. But the difference is that they don’t cut the video down to 12-20 minutes. Sidemen videos are mostly 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Not only does the length makes it feel real, you can also feel what they are feeling. When they have fun you can see they’re having fun, when their surprised you see it, and when they are pissed they don’t shy away from showing it and actually get mad. Yeah maybe the reactions are a bit over exaggerated, but it feels more genuine and not corporate like most reactions we get from mrbeast and the crew.
Jimmy chirped up real quick when Jack (one guy!) said something. Now that it's the entire adult world saying something, he is disgustingly quiet. He is really hoping this all just blows over, and we can't allow that to happen. Sets an abhorrent precedent for creators and everyday people in general.
I miss when anyone could start up a UA-cam channel, be apart of a real community that stuck together but now everyone is starting drama and going at each others throats to become "famous" and "rich" when it just happened naturally in the old days...I hate what UA-cam has become because of people like Mr Beast
Yep, UA-cam became a more extroverted/performative site where it's a constant battle for attention. Good luck growing a channel as an introvert if you don't have a particular skill that makes you stand out.
@@UncreativePFfrankly that’s true of interoversion and “social jobs” in general. An introvert is not going to make a good talk show host or actor, unless they have some other skill or knowledge that allows viewers to overlook that.

“You limit your audience with your personality” ? Anyone else remember when PewDiePie was the largest creator on the planet FOR YEARS and was only continuing to grow? Like to the point that when another channel (specifically one ran by a company not a single person) started to potentially surpass him people who didn’t even like him or want to watch his content subscribed to try and keep him on top.
To the point about UA-camrs having to compete with companies of people making content: I think it's really funny that Mr Beast asked his audience to get him past T-Series because the implication is that "oh don't you wanna get your favorite creator Mr Beast (the person) past T-Series (the corporation) to the top?" when Mr Beast and T-Series are basically equivalent to each other. In fact, I'd argue that Mr Beast's company is more souless than T-Series because T-Series is just a music and film production company, whereas Mr Beast's company is a clickbaiting, attention-sucking slop machine.
@@TinyToonStar pewdiepie also made a very big deal of beating T-series, but his was less disingenuous than mr beast, since there isn’t like a pewdiepie company. Though his did involve a good bit of implicit and explicit racism and xenophobia because T-series is an Indian company.

I can’t be mad at mr. beast for figuring out and pioneering a sure fire method to success. But it DID ruin how the platform operates. This happens all the time, as soon as someone figures something out everyone does, and people just trying to make money will replicate what works. When Fortnite released as a free live service game, that got all the kids to play and blew up all these other gaming companies came out the woodwork and copied the formula now everyone’s got a battle pass, all these games have “seasons” and the gaming industry is in the toilet. I can’t be mad at Fortnite for figuring it out in the same way I can’t be mad at mr. Beast. But I can acknowledge that they both ruined their industries.

I know that it sucks that the industry in shambles, but I swear it makes me sad when people say stuff like "gaming sucks now" because AMAZING indie games get released EVERY YEAR, gaming is NOT dead, there are still passionate people making real works of art, just stop playing all those corporate online live service games and check out some indies.

I'm 15 rn, and was always obsessed with being a UA-camr. After the "Mr Beast Apocalypse" I lost that love, because you'll always be underappreciated and a nobody when there's a specific method to winning even just a few views and the competition is that high. Its like Jack said, it's no longer about the love of the art, it's a get rich quick scheme.
You should still give it a try. Create whatever you like. I feel like people get tunnel vision when they see nothing but Mr. Beast clones on their feeds. There are MANY ecosystems and subcultures on youtube. Look at long video essays for example. What determines you "success" is how well you can dominate a niche, and that's basically it. Even getting a couple ten thousand views per video is still AMAZING. Do what you want, as long as you have something unique to offer, that' still worth it.
As a jack fan, everything about that clip is precious. The fact he didnt like mr beast The fact he said the truth (to him it was about money and views) Someone retorts. “But dont you think they had fun on those yachts!?” “If they had fun it would be longer 😎 “ Then, the fucking cherry “Who is the worst youtuber?” “I dont know there is alot of groomers and pedophiles on this platform.” 😂 It is like Jack is a psychic, but he can only do so when he strapped to a lie detector.

Yeah I agree. I wasn't a fan of the pot shots at "mental illness" (adhd is a disability but not the point) because it's so unnecessary? Attention grabbing is a good enough descriptor. Annoying is also a good way to describe it if you're particularly opinionated. It just doesn't feel great to have someone use you as an insult.

Anyone here remember when he promised to plant 10,000,000 trees? @@seagaulle I wonder what fraction of that fraction of the trees are left? Given how poorly everything else at that company is managed, and the fact that a large percentage of planted trees die if it isn't done appropriately, and if the trees aren't given proper care after
As a content creator myself I've noticed that I used a lot of heavy editing on videos because I saw others doing it. I quickly became exhausted of making videos since it was so tedious. I recently seen creators that have real loyal followers make videos that are more authentic. They rely less ass on crazy edits and fabricated stories. Which is such a cool thing to see. I think people are going to shift away back from high productions and demand more down to earth content creators.
Man, this is why Mark and Sean are and always will be my favorite people on here. They're real and they do this shit for fun, even all these years later, they don't often speak their minds on stuff they know is going to explode, but when they do, they're almost always spot on and earnest.
You can tell from this that Jack probably holds a deep seated frustration and sadness over the modern UA-cam landscape and the things he probably has to do that he’d never want to.
What pissed me off was how mrbeast saw the problem and instead of telling his own fans to stop he tells Jack to contact him and tells him to apologize to him and his fans. Like wtf that’s so toxic
I feel like Sean's point of how to make videos is stronger cause if your just in it for the views you get burned out very quickly since you're trying to grind everyday instead of just having fun and that was the main reason I was on his side when the drama happened

The Pewdiepie Vs. T-Series battle had long reaching consequences for youtube. It marked the end of an era, the end of the dominance of Individual content creators with a soul, and the rise of Soulless Corporations who game the algorithm taking control.
Watch all the og youtubers about their past and you see how they reflect that they need to show their real face and not run for algorithm UA-camrs where always soulless
In the end, T Series won. Lemme cook. So the whole Pewds vs T Series thing was that a solo content creator should be the highest subbed channel on UA-cam, not a corporation. Meanwhile Mr Beast is a corporation and is now the biggest youtuber
t series only won due to them banking on YT algorithm and joining in right when india started getting wide band internet coverage, making t series a constant show on the front page due to how YT shows content sometimes prioritizing those near the user the deck was heavily stacked against pewds and he was still able to hold out for a long time
I like the energy, but no. This is a social issue, not the conniving schemes of a single malicious individual. There is a demand for this type of content and there will always be someone willing to dig their hand into muck just to get that cash. Honestly I'm hoping something else happens so people will be talking about anything else x.x. But anyways I do agree for the most part, imo while that style of editing isn't always bad its definitely overused and boring, there are so many MrBeast clones and so much content that just feels soulless, that people keep putting up because it's what "works". I haven't been able to watch a full MrBeast video for a long while now because of how soulless it all feels.
I Am Also Getting Tired Of It As Well. They Kept Popping Up In My Recommended And It Got Really Annoying For Me Too. Sure It Is Nice To Hear Other People's Opinion(s) About It All. But I Completely Understand What You Mean By This Too.
I've always disliked MrBeast because of a logic i got yelled at for, but it became more and more a vocal thing. So many people would defend him on "Look at all the good he's doing", but no one stopped to think "if he was doing so much good, he'd be doing that good WITHOUT making a video. You can defend the act of kidness all you want, and it's a good thing, but when you give 100 people their ability to see colours again, you aren't making the video because you did good, you're doing it to make money and ego trip" It's frustraiting to see. I also understand the "But he has to do views or he wont have the money". The guy makes MILLIONS now without doing a single video off his own name. Chocolate, burgers. Is this all for charity? Is he making money to help people with this bullshit that we've found out has been half thought out? The only downside to all of this is it's more frustrating now to see all this come out beacuse it took so long, and took a worse situatioin to have people see, and it isn't worth that price. :/
not to mention how ultimately it's not actually helping that many people. He has MILLIONS! In real charity work that shit could help so many people. Charities need funding and they often have government subsidies so they can stretch a dollar so much further than your average person. He could probably feed a small town if he worked with some local charities to make it happen!!! But nope! Squid game irl. He's in it for the views, the clout, and most of all the money.
Yeah... charity given to advance yourself is still helpful, but it's not heroic, it's not selfless, nor anything of the sort, it can even be entirely selfish. I have much the same thoughts when it comes to people claiming (often as a character defense of otherwise terrible people, criminals or whatever) someone is really a good person because they love their family so much, treats their daughter so well, etc. Treating those sentimentally important to you well is not altruism, just normal behaviour, you're doing that for yourself at least as much as you are doing it for them, plus it's what the majority are naturally wired to do.

Jimmy Beast is clearly in the first category, meaning that if one day we would stop having fun doing his videos, he would still keep going because of the shit ton of money all of it create. But Jack is only in there for the passion, he'll keep doing his videos as long as he's passionate about and enjoys doing them, and when he stops having fun, he'll just stop, he's not restricted by anything
I’m gonna be completely honest OK I wish the worst on everybody who got mad or wished bad things upon Jacksepticeye because he said he didn’t like MrBeast unless they apologize.
Knowing him, not much cause he stays away from drama and internet crap and focuses on his real life and his interests. He prolly just chillin doing something irl
All of them started their UA-cam career when it was about “broadcast yourself”. Jimmy started around the same time as well, but for him I think it was always about the grind, about being the biggest. Those UA-camrs that you mentioned slowly started focusing on revenue and growth , grinding more and more as they get bigger just like what Jimmy doing with his channel or more correctly, his corporation. But they, including pewdiepie, realized that they don’t want to do UA-cam this way anymore and return to their root, maybe even embracing it more.
I remember back like ten years ago everyone I knew wanted to be a UA-camr, not because the money or getting famous, but because it seemed like something that would be a lot of fun.
jack is my favorite youtuber has ben scince 2014 i was waching him back wen he lived in a shak in the woods he realy embodies the original spirit of youtube and hes almpst entierly controversy free
What I hate about Mr B is that I asked my nephew what he likes about him. His answer was “he has a lot of money and that he’s popular and that makes me also want to be a UA-camr” seriously what ever happened to wanting to be an astronaut, a firefighter or even a doctor. No child wants to grow up to help people anymore, all they are about is money and popularity; although like Mr B this might also be a late stage capitalism problem.
My dream job is to be a pilot, so thankfully, I haven't been infected by the Mr beast virus... However, I'd do youtube (for the fun of it not for the money)
I genuinely want to be a youtuber to entertain people and have fun with it. I've been here ever since Markiplier's channel started growing with his Amnesia gameplays, the rpg-maker horror games, and of course Fnaf, and that got me hyped about the whole youtube thing since then. It is genuinely sad that youtubers like Mr Beast promote such an insincere mentality on kids. I admit, I like his videos if only for the contestants in it, but never him. I didn't click on the video for him, it was the challenge and the contestant that drew me in.
They say that because they think its fun, once they get into it they realize that you dont just get handed money and fame for making 2 videos, kids dont have the patience to grow and foster a whole youtube channel unless someone helps them with it, or they get really lucky. Even then, sustaining a channel requires a personality that isn't just speaking into the mic and being loud, since that market is already oversaturated, i think your nephew is fine, maybe less phone time from now on, since giving children the power to search the internet at such a young age can only end terribly.
MrBeast took the YOU out of youtube. The individual with just a camera and an idea is a thing of the past now, and I hate that. Honestly, it's most of the reason I haven't started my own channel. Back then, even if you didn't have state-of-the-art equipment, you could just have fun on camera and people would enjoy it... Now you have to have the equipment, editors, a team and the money to do the whackiest things imaginable to get any traction at all. It's sad.

I haven't watched his videos since he did those videos where he would count to like 100,000 or something

There are MANY ecosystems and subcultures on youtube. Look at long video essays for example. What determines you "success" is how well you can dominate a niche, and that's basically it. Even getting a couple ten thousand views per video is still AMAZING.

The fact he said the truth (to him it was about money and views)

“If they had fun it would be longer 😎 “
Then, the fucking cherry

Hell yeah I love that game
I rly dont like ppl calling that stupid ass no attention span editing style "adhd" cus ive got adhd and i rly hate it as well. Like its just as overstimulating and overwhelming for me as it is for you man.
It’s more childish than anything, most teenagers and grownups would get annoyed or cringe pretty quickly.
If you think that shit is annoying my dude. See how long you can last on a LankyBox video.
I shit you not I was shared a clip that went like this:
“Today I’m gonna be playing the gagedidadadgo Roblox game while hunting down the gavedidadadgo secrets”
I feel like my ADHD makes me MORE prone to enjoy calmer long-form content instead of spastic editing. ADHD just makes you more prone to distractions, it doesn't necessarily have to do with short attention spans.

I remember watching someone talk about how the wells he built more then likely wont last a few years because of how poorly he actually went about it.
Not to mention there has to be a system in place for maintenance, if they don’t have a person who can repair them when they break, they will be useless in a few years
I mean it wouldn’t surprise me if he be cutting corners on their wells cuz after the video gets it’s views no one will remember, if they failed after a month I’m sure he wouldn’t care. But he edits his videos so short that how can we even tell if they’re poorly made? He detests his own content so much he can barely afford to put anything in his videos so not like we have much to go on
Anyone here remember when he promised to plant 10,000,000 trees? The catch is individual people had to donate money to plant the trees despite Mr. Beast having all his money, then after the charity ended nobody heard a word about it. I actually did look into it the trees were planted and some were… and it was only a very small fraction in Kenya.

"I don't like mr beast, it's about money and views, full of groomers & pedos" bro predicted the Mr Beast company group chats before they were released.
I remember when Jimmy made a Twitter post that was passively aggressively told people to go attack jacksepticeye. That tweet was deleted when the allegations cane out
This drama if it could even be called that was ridiculous. I never understood giving Jack flack for merely expressing his opinion, but i also never did and still don't agree with giving MrBeast flack for studying viewers and mastering keeping their attention as he was just doing what UA-cam wanted.
His response to Jack however was inexcusable. Want to be the bigger man? Keep your mouth shut. Or if you have to speak on it, be actually mature and acknowledge Jack's right to his own opinion.
Yeah that was mostly what I thought. I didn’t like the way he responded at all and that was the thing that really showed me the kind of guy Mr Beast is

The Pewdiepie Vs. T-Series battle had long reaching consequences for youtube. It marked the end of an era, the end of the dominance of Individual content creators with a soul, and the rise of Soulless Corporations who game the algorithm taking control.

@@playerjack2566??
In the end, T Series won. Lemme cook. So the whole Pewds vs T Series thing was that a solo content creator should be the highest subbed channel on UA-cam, not a corporation. Meanwhile Mr Beast is a corporation and is now the biggest youtuber
I mean he started as a sole UA-camr though and got big before it became a corporation so I mean...they didn't really win.
t series only won due to them banking on YT algorithm and joining in right when india started getting wide band internet coverage, making t series a constant show on the front page due to how YT shows content sometimes prioritizing those near the user
the deck was heavily stacked against pewds and he was still able to hold out for a long time

4:42 You ever heard that "if you leave players be, they'll optimize the fun out of a game"?
Well that’s the companies fault not really players because it’s a whole group effort within mr beast
@@Arbaaltheundefeated I understand the arguement of "Not everyone sees good deeds equally". If i help a frien, im helping a friend. Imagine you went up to someone in the street and gave them 100 bucks. You wouldn't then go "LADIES AND GENTLEMENT. THIS MAN HAS CHOSEN TO ACCEPT MY GRACIOUS DONATION TO HIM TO BE ALLOWED TO EAT THIS WEEK" beacuse you'd look likea god damn monster, and this stuff borders on it. Just do the deed. i stood behind jack and got pinned on a popular youtuber channel who talked about this and i got alot of hate back in the day. a no liked 3 million view video pinned 3 mins since posted comment, i more dislikes on my videos alot of hate. but i did not delete my comment and stood behind jack. mr beast isn't fun, he used money for fun. any billionaire can do what he does. jack is a funny. he worked hard to build up his funny irish character. it took decades to build to where he is. beast made a video of himself counting to 100,000, thats his rise of frame. jack is a better character. AND I STILL STAND STRONG ON THAT
I doubt any brand would want to be associated with someone who knows about kids being groomed and other current controversy.
Unless they really believe in beast money and except people to stop caring.
I remember when Jack said this Mr Beast turbo complained about it on Twitter lol. The fact that he had to complain so much seemed like he wanted validation from mr Jack
I think there's a difference between "having fun doing it" and "doing it for the fun".
I wonder what Jack is thinking right now as this goes on.
Knowing him, not much cause he stays away from drama and internet crap and focuses on his real life and his interests. He prolly just chillin doing something irl
The fact that people used to basically jump you anytime you said anything remotely negative about Mr.beast was very telling to me
I'm from the older age of youtube, before Mr.Beast. Jack, Mark and DanTDM because it was fun to watch their videos.

I actually miss when I could watch a full 50min gaming video with no cuts 😭 I’ve fried my brain
Dashiegames and 8bitryan: 😎
MrBeast took the YOU out of youtube. The individual with just a camera and an idea is a thing of the past now, and I hate that. Honestly, it's most of the reason I haven't started my own channel. Back then, even if you didn't have state-of-the-art equipment, you could just have fun on camera and people would enjoy it... Now you have to have the equipment, editors, a team and the money to do the whackiest things imaginable to get any traction at all. It's sad.
