Nice dice. One of my groups is thinking of trying Warhammer Fantasy at some point. I really like the way it uses dice rolls in character creation, both because it gives you options and because the rolls act like prompts for making a character rather than dictating who the character should be.
Never played any type of role playing game other than fighting fantasy when I was like 10 but I reckon I'd enjoy warhammer role play, this looks really cool
I played first and second edition and absolutely loved it! Just picked this one up and I'm trying to teach my kids :-) a video on advancement would be amazing as for some reason I cannot get my head around it! I've read it so many times as well, also I've searched UA-cam and nobody else seems too either.
I have the core book, but haven't had the chance to play. Online games also seems to be hard to fins between, but I really like the setting and atmosphere. The grimdark feel really appeals to me as much more mature and nuanced compared to D&D for example.
I came to this video because I got myself confused with the D10s I unknowingly was doing d100s for my skills and so I came here wondering why my skills were so super humanly high XD Edit: you can tell it’s my first Ttrpg can’t you XD
@@TheBattlinBarrowGaming oh it’s helping immensely, since you are active right now I suppose I should ask. So I’m doing the wounds right now and I’ve got to add the bonuses, but you’ve only put the first digit into the wounds box, I take it rhats just this book not specifying that

If you do let me know how you get on with the game? I really like it and it deserves more love :D

Its a good system! Really fun rules.

Thank you for this. It is fun to see how character creation works in various systems. I wish I had the time for a WFRP game!
If you ever find the time give me a shout I'd run an online game
You forgot to allocate your 3 free points to fate/resilience
Please, more WFRP content! Great vid, thanks!
I have been meaning to do more wfrp....
Really like Warhammer 4th, was glad to see they made Night of Blood available for free for it.
Gah, you didn't mention what those careers were on the rolls you made! I was curious what those options could have been 😢

It also has a lot of humour in it too to counter balance things and it does it really well
Love Warhammer Fantasy RPG, its so dark and gritty compared to DnD
I think when you roll a talent double you are supposed to reroll it. Besides that great video so far.
Looking back at this there a number of small things like this I missed! Thanks for this reminder.
Thank you! Very helpful!
But you should have 8 silver, not 80, right? Since you rolled a d10, rather than a d100 :)
Yes sorry about that.

Hopefully this helped haha I've done the same in my time

How do you get 18 silver shillings if you only roll 1d10 for your starting money? I’m new to this so I hope that’s not a dumb question
It's been a while so I will go over it and get back to you?
@@TheBattlinBarrowGaming I appreciate that, thanks!
Still waiting huh
Should have been 8 silver, no? Not 80
Really nice. Thank you. But you shouldn't be able to advance BS on first Level of this career.
Yes very true. My mistake!
