I played this song for my dad while he was in the hospital during the last 7 days he was alive on a ventilator. It was one of his favorite songs. Miss you every day dad...
My husband played this song for me when we were dating! We got married in May 1968 and were married for 47 years! The love of my life went to heaven on July 8, 2015. I play this song continuously as I miss him everyday! I will continue to play it as a memorial to my first true love forevermore!
I am sitting here. 70 freaking years old, tired, sad, no one to love me, and when I listen to this....all the energy comes back, the hope we had as youth, only happy thoughts, music really can lighten your spirits!!!!
I’m sorry. I’m only 27 but I’m having many of the same feelings it sounds like. Im here, all alone, nobody to love me after my fiancé left me after I loved her so dearly for so many years. Nothing is going right for me. But this song sounds like something that I would sing to the next woman I love; “I know you love me now, but if tomorrow I struggle, if I falter, I fall short, will you still love me?” Because my ex sure as hell didn’t. 😢
If that little pic by your name is any indication, you are a lovely woman. I understand what you are saying though. After a certain age we woman feel we become invisible and people tend to look right through you. What a shame that they don't know what they are missing by not bothering to get to know who we are. Music does sooth ones soul.

I am 36 years old and I sincerely wish I was alive back then 😢 The music back then was absolute and so clean;every song was and still is classic. However listening to a 50s and 60s playlist only makes me dream and kinda sad because I wasnt there to go through that time period.
And yet, the song was banned in some places because the lyrics were "suggestive." Suggestive, hell. It was a tough and gentle lesson.🙂 There is good music in all eras. It's just tougher to "find" it because the Top 40, physical record sales and radio broadcast based on them has given way to the "new media" of streaming. As imperfect as the old ways were, it did form community on a mass basis. That seems to have been lost.😒
My grandpa died when he was 71 three days ago.. I miss him so much but I was ready for him to go. I accept every memory behind I’m so glad to be his granddaughter because it meant so much to me I’m ready to let him go I appreciate it you will forever is be my grandfather
How on Earth can 147 dislike this song. It is one of the greatest pop songs of all time.Great harmony, great strings and a story still relevant today. Recorded in 1961 and is simply stunning. Just love the whole arrangement
Jarrett Smith Not true except you're thinking of just thrash/death metal heads but guys like me who grew up on 80's hard rock/metal love the music of the 70's & 60s because of the melody. A lot of 80's musicians had their first influences from those era bands like Zep, Stones, Who, Beatles, Purple. I can't tell you how many denim vests loaded with patches I saw in the 80's that had Judas Priest, Accept, Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden AND The Beatles on them.
Born in 1960, when my age group and those up to teens and 20's somethings were old enough to have children, this music was naturally played as the favorite music of thee household/family. Now these babies are all grown up and they play this music for their little ones. We get to keep these wonderful treasures for always!

Absolutely right. Women at least tried to hold onto their innocent. There were even Clubs to be recognized for young ladies showing grace, talents and morals. The name First Lady was indeed a First Lady.
Reading the comments is a testament to this beautiful piece of music. I was lucky to see The Shirelles do this song. Luther Dixon produced this track and it's to his credit that the arrangements, the production added to the composition and then the vocals is what made this song have the life it has had. Some radio stations refused to play it due to lyric content, but at that time, this was a song that rang very true for many young women taking that first step, yet not knowing how it would pan out. @@sharonblack8915 I'm sorry about that my dear, I lost my wife 1 year ago. We were blessed with 2 kids, a son and 1 daughter as well. But it was so sad and heartbreaking when she had an automobile accident and died with our daughter, so now I am left with my one and only son, Alvin. He is a boarding school student at the Medical College in New York.
+Benjamin David That's right Ben, she co-wrote it with her then husband Gerry Goffin, for the Shirelles, and later performed it on her Tapestry album. The Shirelles almost didn't record it because they though it sounded too country. But they finally agreed to and now it is currently ranked as the 110th greatest song of all time.
+Jeffrey Miller I always felt like you could tell it's a Carole King song, if you're familiar with her music. It has such a pure Carole vibe. She is a legend.
Just saw the play Beautiful, the story of Carol King, who wrote the music for this song and her husband wrote the lyrics. I had no idea how much music she wrote, a tremendous talent. A music prodigy, sold her first song at 16 while attending college as she skipped 2 yrs of HS.
My mum used to sing this to me on the way to school so that I'd not get sad on my first days of school. She was so kind, loving, caring and gentle to all life... My dad always bullied her, called her a fat useless lazy pathetic bitch, made her cry... I remember being 11 years old in my bedroom, in the dark with my brothers and sisters, as I heard my mum screaming and crying downstairs as my dad tried to beat her to death... She died 6 years ago of cancer, she was only 47 when she died and I miss her so so much... "I'd like to know that your love is a love I can be sure of... So tell me now and I wont ask again.. Will you still love me tomorrow?" I'll always love you mum. The love that I feel for you, the pain that I feel... It goes beyond words. I miss you so much...
I don't know why Men do that to women it's sad for her and her Children i'm so sorry hun, don't ever let anyone treat you that way it hurts, your Mother sounds like she was a beautiful lady she is watching from heaven hugs
I am so sorry, your Dad has a real problem, how can he call his wife these horrible names, when at one time he must have loved her, to have produced you, a child they must have both loved very much, my dear do not hold a grudge as that will only eat you away. I also lost my Mum last year and also miss her very much, but life goes on, and you must live life to the full, as your Mum would want you to.
I can't believe over 1,000 people dislike this. This song, this version of the song, is the most sublime effort in the history of recorded popular music, bar none.
I've been listening and basically there have been no "home run bomb" pop songs the caliber of this one in the past 20 years. Of course, we all want to be proven wrong--because we all WIN if there ARE great songs like this being made today. It will be like finding a treasure trove. So can you suggest a pop song within the past two years, that you feel is just as good as "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow"? We'll give it a listen. Thanks!
This reminds me of my Grandma. I love Her and Miss her so Much!!! I'm 37 and remember when my Mom would play these type of songs in the kitchen. Bumpin' loud. That was our family time. I will forever remember these time. I Love You Grandma.

Who doesn't love the Shirelles. They were adorable. Their voices still make me feel good. They put love in the air. I can still remember dancing with Margaret Carter at a Halloween party to solder boy. Fell in love.
Boy...some songs are so well constructed...and have all the right ingredients to inflict instant reaction on the listener. People will always, always, always return to this song...and for good reason. It has a genuine quality that cannot be denied. It makes me "think" every time I hear it. That fact alone is a positive indication that it is STILL doing it's job. Thanks Carol!
I'm an 80's heavy metal kid, and this song is so beautiful, it reminds me of my 1st girlfriend, ugh I still think of her so much. You never forget that first love.
It was the first .45 I bought. I was 13. I didn't know at the time that Carol King had written it and didn't know about her and the Brill Building and it's R&B history, even though I lived only about 15miles away in Queens.
In 1960 Jerry McKinney and I backed them up in Evansville College. We playing A hop in Evansville when two college kids offered us 50 bucks each to come play two songs with them . College was close so on break the college kids helped us pack over and back . Good ole days .
Sitting in the snack bar on RAF Chicksands, my first duty assignment n the USAF, in late 1961 or early 1962 playing this on the jukebox and, at 17 years old, being so homesick I could cry. Drinking 3.2 beer for the first time in my life, I will never forget this song.
When Napster first became a thing, the first request I made was 'girl groups of the sixties', and all these wonderful songs were the first I copied to my computer.
@@denissegoatcher-avila3113 Ronnie and her mother, Mrs Bennett, made an appearance in Keith's "Life". I can't remember which singer said she hadn't been paid as part of an act, where her money would have been legally stolen, but as a session singer, where her union wage was a very nice living at the time. Phil Spector makes a crazed appearance in Clarence Clemons' memoir "Big Man", brandishing a gun in the studio while Bruce and the gang were visiting. Interesting times and talented people
the 60's would not have been as great without all the Girl Groups I love them just as much today as back then this music be be listened to for generations and never will be duplicated I was so lucky to be a teenager back then us babyboomers were blessed by God when we were placed on this Earth during this wonderful time....
What an absolutely amazing piece of music - a gift from God! For all that most of the pop groups from the 60s, 70s & 80s are millionaires in their own right, keep paying them hundreds of thousands a week instead of the footballers. I, for one, know who gives me the greater satisfaction.

This song and the Skyliners since I don't have you are by far my favorite songs from the 50's and 60's era. Aint nothing better than going for a nice cruise with the family in the classic and throwing one of these on, feels like you are traveling back in time.
Tonight you're mine completely You give your love so sweetly Tonight the light of love is in your eyes But will you love me tomorrow? Is this a lasting treasure Or just a moment's pleasure? Can I believe the magic of your sighs? Will you still love me tomorrow? Tonight with words unspoken You say that I'm the only one But will my heart be broken When the night meets the morning sun? I'd like to know that your love Is love I can be sure of So tell me now, and I won't ask again Will you still love me tomorrow?
To all those who gave this the thumbs down, your ears are probably clogged up with all the deafening garbage you listen to today to appreciate that this is what you call real music
I first heard this song when I was six years old , Christmas of 1961 and it inspired me to be a musician and composer. This music and the Shirelles performance will always be my favorite.
I was just 13 when this hit the charts...I would hide in the closet to listen on my transistor radio after dark when I was supposed to be in bed. So hauntingly beautiful...
This song takes me back down memories lane,to Jewett high school, winter haven Florida I was so smitten and in love with the prettiest and most Popular girl in school. She knew me but she never knew I was in love with her, it turned out later on that have the guys in school were also in love with her. She had a best friend Joyce Williams, rest in peace

What a fabulous recording absolutely as powerful as when it was first released 1960/61. Like shaft of uplifting energy at the time cutting straight through any gloom around then. For me one of the greatest examples of the unique 45 sounds of late 50's early 60's. Takes me right back there. All seemed to end around 1966/67? What an era!!

Hello 🖐Sharon, how are you doing, how is the weather over there?
@@HerbertCarlisle4123 I'm doing good; my husband and I would of been married 30 years today !!!!! He died of cancer in 2006 !!! Missing him forever !!
My parents are deceased, I was the only kid they had, so Alvin is my only close family now
@@sharonblack8915 So tell me. Where are you from? And where do you reside?
Carole King, thanks for this Classic Song!
+Jeffrey Miller God. Somebody actually knows who composed it.
+William Thomas Carole King wrote it
Carole married co writer Jerry Geffen they wrote several biggies together thanks for this love it!!
Rest In Peace
Charles Green
This was his favorite song and it played at the moment of his passing
The world lost a piece of itself when you left us.
Geez it still makes me cry
RIP AGP
Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Angry Grandpa!!!!
nothing will EVER beat the music of the 1960's, NEVER
Just saw the play Beautiful, the story of Carol King, who wrote the music for this song and her husband wrote the lyrics. I had no idea how much music she wrote, a tremendous talent. A music prodigy, sold her first song at 16 while attending college as she skipped 2 yrs of HS.
sometimes pop music really did achieve moments of great art and beauty. this is definately one of them.
Will you still love me tomorrow?"
I'll always love you mum. The love that I feel for you, the pain that I feel... It goes beyond words. I miss you so much...
I think it's wonderful that you have mentioned you mum. It keeps her alive. Have a lovely Christmas. Johnx
I don't know why Men do that to women it's sad for her and her Children i'm so sorry hun, don't ever let anyone treat you that way it hurts, your Mother sounds like she was a beautiful lady she is watching from heaven hugs
I'm so sorry
I am so sorry, your Dad has a real problem, how can he call his wife these horrible names, when at one time he must have loved her, to have produced you, a child they must have both loved very much, my dear do not hold a grudge as that will only eat you away. I also lost my Mum last year and also miss her very much, but life goes on, and you must live life to the full, as your Mum would want you to.
Reading that comment and listening to this song play brought a tear to my eye! Stay strong mate! All the best!
This song is like a candy to my ears. So sweet to listen to.
hello friend how are you doing today
Another great song from a time when singers had to be able to do onething and that was sing and these girls certainly could do that!
Thank God for the 50s and early 60s
Yes! 😍
Loved the 80's & 90's but it seems the 50's & 60's sang with the angels by their side.
In total agreement with you!
And the 90s and 00s 🤗
and those crazy sci fi movies, ''look to the skies''
what a beautiful tune and what beautiful women
I can't believe over 1,000 people dislike this. This song, this version of the song, is the most sublime effort in the history of recorded popular music, bar none.
john kennedy sss. C
Awesome song, the string arrangement is sublime.
Such a wonderful song
One of those rare occasions when the vocals the orchestration the song and the atmosphere blend together into timeless brilliance
Do you ever randomly get the urge to listen to this song? I do.
I just did
Me too!
Include me my friend. Classics will always tell ~~~ Rock on
@Babs And afterwards? did he become a famous musician? I hope so.
I've had the urge to since I was 16 and I'm 73 now.
Rest in Peace Gerry Goffin. You and Carole King brought us so much pleasure with this sublime song.
Hello 🖐Nicole, how are you doing, how is the weather over there?
I am 65 and in the same boat. I hope and pray God will send you a prince charming your way. It is never to late to love.
They sure sang songs back then. I don't see this kind of talent today.
+George Vreeland Hill
You don't see this kind of talent today because it doesn't exist!
+MrRyder2U No, you don't see it because you're not looking for it.
Thanks!
It's a little different than this, but you listen to the Shouting Matches
From their lips to God's ear!❤
When music was sung from the heart and soul!💕
So true
This song reminds me of the only girl I loved in 1966..,,Love you Alice
This song is so sad, so pure, and will live on forevermore.
God I love 60s music!
They are my very favorites. Their song "Will yo still love me Tomorrow " is absolutely beautiful.
Such a lovely innocent song. Written in a time when men respected women and women respected men.
Thank you for the upload .. :)
This reminds me of my Grandma. I love Her and Miss her so Much!!!
I'm 37 and remember when my Mom would play these type of songs in the kitchen. Bumpin' loud. That was our family time. I will forever remember these time.
I Love You Grandma.
Love this song!!
I'm 13 and i prefer this music to the stuff that's out today! Amazing Music

# 1 Song in 1959 ...Part of The Era of Songs That expressed what the Youth in America felt on a daily bases Growing Up....One of My Top 5 Songs of All Time....Bob
January 1961.
1959 was the Skyliners. Big hit.
Thanks! Shirleys my mom!
I was born in the late fall of 1978. Pretty, Classic Recording! Pretty Classic Song!
This was the Number 1 song on the charts the day I was born in 1961.
Beautiful 😍 this song came out 1960.i was 14 years old I'm 78 years old now it's still sounds good 👍
nearly 6 million views this is the best version EVER 6 million views show that!.
There is nothing in all the world like this record. It’s so damn beautiful and transcendent, I’m at a loss for words when I hear it.
Beautiful song! The strings are gorgeous! I remember hearing this for the first time. I was eight years old. Fell in love these girls. What a time!
Thanks for allowing me to show my daughter this, I liked and subscribed
Hello 🖐Karen, how are you doing, how is the weather over there?
My favorite song of my youth, the 60's, the greatest music era ever
It was the first .45 I bought. I was 13. I didn't know at the time that Carol King had written it and didn't know about her and the Brill Building and it's R&B history, even though I lived only about 15miles away in Queens.
I wish people still made music like this.
+Robert Hill Thanks to U-Tube, you can listen to it anytime you want!!
In 1960 Jerry McKinney and I backed them up in Evansville College. We playing A hop in Evansville when two college kids offered us 50 bucks each to come play two songs with them . College was close so on break the college kids helped us pack over and back . Good ole days .
Love the story. I bet you have some good ones. Take Care
My Late husband was from Passaic NJ . I was from East Orange. I loved hearing this beautiful song.
I love that song! "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by The Shirelles! Great music ruled back in the day! And it still is in my world!
This takes me right back to my teens. Happy days.
Roy Willis you're so lucky!!!
one of the most beautiful songs ever made!
Sitting in the snack bar on RAF Chicksands, my first duty assignment n the USAF, in late 1961 or early 1962 playing this on the jukebox and, at 17 years old, being so homesick I could cry. Drinking 3.2 beer for the first time in my life, I will never forget this song.
the great Shirelles. that's when girl groups ruled and they could actually sing
Tommy X shirelles. The end.
Who is Angry Grandpa ?
When Napster first became a thing, the first request I made was 'girl groups of the sixties', and all these wonderful songs were the first I copied to my computer.
@@donaldsmith3926 That's a keeper!
Interesting times and talented people
Absolutely love this song ❤️ Great music
the 60's would not have been as great without all the Girl Groups I love them just as much today as back then this music be be listened to for generations and never will be duplicated I was so lucky to be a teenager back then us babyboomers were blessed by God when we were placed on this Earth during this wonderful time....
I was born in 1812. This song hadn’t been invented yet, but I still loved it
What an absolutely amazing piece of music - a gift from God! For all that most of the pop groups from the 60s, 70s & 80s are millionaires in their own right, keep paying them hundreds of thousands a week instead of the footballers. I, for one, know who gives me the greater satisfaction.
AGAIN SWEET MEMORIES"
Yo he nacido en 1963. Y esta bellísima canción...en es época era un icono...a través de mis padres que escuchaban pues me gustó y ahora tengo 59 años...la sigo escuchando.Saludos e Cusco Perú
We use to listen to this all time great rock n roll song on my stoop on 24th Street in Coney Island when it first came out in 1961. What memories..Maurice HBank
This song and the Skyliners since I don't have you are by far my favorite songs from the 50's and 60's era. Aint nothing better than going for a nice cruise with the family in the classic and throwing one of these on, feels like you are traveling back in time.
My personal favourite from that era is Maybe by The Chantels.
The best rendition ever! What memories of youth and joy.
+Johan Kotze Absolutely!
Tonight you're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
But will you love me tomorrow?
Is this a lasting treasure
Or just a moment's pleasure?
Can I believe the magic of your sighs?
Will you still love me tomorrow?
Tonight with words unspoken
You say that I'm the only one
But will my heart be broken
When the night meets the morning sun?
I'd like to know that your love
Is love I can be sure of
So tell me now, and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow?
ta very much
Thanks
she will always love you
To all those who gave this the thumbs down, your ears are probably clogged up with all the deafening garbage you listen to today to appreciate that this is what you call real music
The violins made this song even more amazing
I first heard this song when I was six years old , Christmas of 1961 and it inspired me to be a musician and composer. This music and the Shirelles performance will always be my favorite.
I remember dancing to this when I was a young man in school. Don't remember the girls I danced with, but the music is still in my heart.
Fabulous music best ever absolutely love it
I was just 13 when this hit the charts...I would hide in the closet to listen on my transistor radio after dark when I was supposed to be in bed. So hauntingly beautiful...
Hello 🖐Faith, how are you doing, how is the weather over there?
Georgous material to listen to. Fell in love with this tune back when I was only a child.
This song takes me back down memories lane,to Jewett high school, winter haven Florida
I was so smitten and in love with the prettiest and most Popular girl in school. She knew me but she never knew I was in love with her, it turned out later on that have the guys in school were also in love with her. She had a best friend Joyce Williams, rest in peace
Beautiful girls , beautiful voices , beautiful music , Motown ruled ! I'm a 67 year old geezer , and had a dream this song was playing in , so here I am ! Man , those were some good times !
I was 9 years old and just starting to notice boys when this song came out. Funny how all these years later I can still remember all the words, but I can't remember where I put my car keys!
Should be a billion views minimum
I love oldies! They represent what music should really sound like. It's so sad what's happened to music now.
Vince Gill
My mom the oldies but goodies. Now I know what she is talking about. They had some good music back then.
Hi Eileen, How are you doing?
I love this song so much.... i will keep in love whenever i listen to this song. "So tell me now and I won't ask again.... will you still love me tomorrow". That's a question of an in love, and should never let it go.
So glad I was raised on the oldies. 💗 now I have my kids singing every word while they color and I wash dishes. 👌🏼
Awwwwwww... ❣️
The Viet-Nam War, Dude.
Buzz-Kill.
There will never be an era in music as great as this one was ever again.
Sad because this is the the song that played right after angry grandpa died his favorite song rip agp
