This movie is something every person should see. Young or old, Mother or child. Christian or non-Christian. Every life is special. Every life deserves to live.
what I like most about this movie is that it does not judge or condemn, and does teach understanding and forgiveness. I watched it, and told the story of this persons discovery of who she was and her beauty and importance.
This scene and the next scene where Hannah is crying in the hallway ripped my heart out. This entire movie I felt so connected to the characters that I felt every emotion they felt. So powerful. The cast and directors are nothing short of brilliant to be able to grab their audience like that. Wow. One of the best movies I've ever seen. !
I'm glad the girl didn't let the nurse get away with calling the abortion, "the procedure." None of this, "procedure," garbage when referring to an abortion. Call it for what it is.
What a honest yet tender way of teaching in a way that females ( and young males) can hear. Take your young daughters, their friends, your young sons, their friends anyone who physically can "make a baby". You won't ever need to say another word. Their mind will be set against abortion for life.
I saw this movie a week after it came out in theaters! It was by far the saddest movie I ever saw! Then after i saw the movie that night I watched a UA-cam video of Gianna Jensen speaking, and she is a living example of a merical!
So a movie that puts forth the message that the lives of unborn children are precious and that they must be protected ... That's something you feel is worthy of a boycott? Only a hard-hearted (or, dare I say, heartless) person would believe such a thing. Every life is precious, RDJudesie; even the life of an unborn child. It's a shame that you're so wrapped up in yourself that you can't see that. May God grant you the mercy that you refuse to grant to unborn children.
I'd love to see this film, and I'm glad to hear that it's not a judgmental one. So many of people who are, like me, opposed to abortion are so violent and hateful in their stance...it saddens me. For most women, abortion is not an easy choice whether or not their reasons for choosing it are sound, and it does no good to attack our opposition.
RD, a baby is not propaganda. Open your heart and maybe God will reveal truth to you. He did to me the hard way, after I had already had an abortion. Emotionally and psychologically I paid for that dearly. But I thank my wonderful God that he forgives and redeems.
Jasmine Guy would get an academy award....if this performance would be in a movie that hollywood approved of, I imagine that the subject of this movie is one that many in hollywood have a closed mind about....but yes this movie is pro forgiveness and healing, to maps and violins...there seem to be many people who are judgemental, but I would wager about 1%...I was on a march with 400,000 in Washington and if 1% might be judgemental, that is still 4,000 too many. Healing is the key here.
A great way to give knowledge to those who was told this big lie that it is only tissue. Life begins at conception. Great movie guys ! Keep up the good work ! : ). It is sooo sad that these babies suffered & is still suffering at the hands of those dr's who don't value life. : (
It is an evil act but if they turn to God and ask for forgiveness, they will be forgiven. God changes hearts, minds and souls. People can be forgiven and redeemed.
Thank you, mgcrealtor. Most abortions are performed on women 20 and up - women like me who are old and smart enough to learn about sex, abstinence, and the best forms of birth control (i'm 21 - if I can do it, my peers can). For those who couldn't have a child without facing poverty, not getting pregnant is by far the best advice.
Sure is, and while it can be a loving and brave choice, it is not an easy one. It also isn't necessarily the very best for the child. Adoption trumps abortion, but not getting pregnant if you aren't ready for a child trumps adoption.
as pro-life advocates, we must have compassion for these young women who are desperate and fed lies to convince them that the life in their womb is disposable. If the do make the choice, it is one they often second guess and regret. Don't just pray that this barbaric practice and billion dollar industry be exposed and stopped but pray for these women who are in these situations find better answers and help instead of lies.
Late term abortions like this make up a small percentage of total abortions, but they do exist. Technically, pregnancy can be ended at any point if there is evidence of significant harm to the mother - what defines "harm" has been greatly stretched.
Physical harm? Probably not. If I'm not mistaken, pregnancy can be aborted very late as long as the doctor has reason to believe that the mother would suffer even emotional or psychological damage if she would carry to term. This still applies even if the only thing that the mother finds so distressing is that the baby is the wrong gender. So you can see that "harm" means just about anything in these cases, and it's awful.
@RDJudesie I pray God won't let you live the rest of your life with such a hardened heart towards the things that deal with the delicateness of life in all honesty and integrity! Who has stepped in and robbed you of your joy and deceived you with such vile alternatives to what the movie is promoting or bringing to light? They say, "When you shine a light into a barn at night, the birds will sing and the rats will scurry for the darkness." So are you a bird or a lover of darkness?
Boycott? Really? In other words you just don't want to hear the truth. There are no good answers when you might yourself prego......... Abortion, adoption or most likely live in proverty. Best advice, don't get prego. However, the baby is a human and feels pain.
@SteveLLW - No need to say so, because I was serious. I'm no "pro-choice" pro-abort supporter. I think abortion is disgusting, I think it is sin, and I think it should be illegal. What I don't think is that, in our disgust, we should resort to name-calling and personal attacks, since I believe that everyone has fallen short of God's holiness and everyone needs correction. I really was not lying.
Never! So long as my culture is in danger of being snuffed out and innocent babies of any culture are at risk, I will always support life. You have no soul or even humanity BeeRitual.
It's quite okay Steve. I'm sorry that your sister has been so idiotically labeled. To call movements like the Coalition for Life (peaceful, prayerful protesting) hateful is an unbelievable stretch of the imagination. With you there. Legalization has nothing to do with the morality of a matter. Infanticide was legal in periods of Roman history.

"I didn't see no tissue."
She nailed it right there!

Amazing.....just speechless.....!

Adoption is a choice as well.

In the majority of nations where abortion is legal, it stops at month 3 or 4.
who would perform an abprtion at 30 weeks?!
What a tragedy! these evil people who murder babies will be judged by God for their sin of Murder!

This film is a load of sloppy slush and far too long, could have been made in 30 mins.
