Fascinating insight from Dan Held Great interview excellent questions Live this long form method Would love to hear this type of interview interview with Christopher Green from AMTV Especially regards property on a blockchain and ecologically investing in its utility 👍
Great video awesome info. While talking about the 51 percent attack you should also mention the majority of miners live in China, making it less decentralized then people think
Hi , Dan in respect to Bitcoin mining ,is there cause for concern with respect to “ honest mining” and “ selfish mining” Many thanks for all your info .✌️
I love Dan's thoughts, but I think he underestimates the value that peer-to-peer trust has for applications outside of gold / money (which are, undoubtedly, fantastic applications). 2017 ICOs may have been poorly thought-out, but well-thought out versions of those chains will be incredibly valuable, I suspect.
Bitcoin is non fungible if a “bad actor” is involved because of the public blockchain. Great store of value. Not digital gold though. Digital land sure
Arguments about the tokenized items on chain, are really weak, in my opinion. Its just silly. You cannot say any monetary system is better with blockchain, and nothing else can have financial frictions be removed. Its just silly and goes against a very large swath of very smart people. Btc is great, but blockchain is NOT for just money. That is such a broken thought process.
@@KnarBurger No doubt BTC is a "better store of value and investment ". Nobody had ever suggested otherwise. In fact I hate it when people purposefully misrepresent my comments. I sleep just fine at night with my BTC bags, knowing that I can differentiate between a payment coin and a store of value. Bitcoin is not a better payment rail than a multitude of cryptos out there. Heck it's nowhere near PayPal or Apple Pay. LTC is a better crypto payment coin. Unlike most other coins, LTC is proof of work, approaching total fungibility and has been the main testing bed for Lightning Networks. It is only going to improve as a payment rail while Bitcoin continues to appreciate, becoming the pristine, most coveted financial asset.
My man! Preston has had the real bitcoin MVP podcast of 2021. Always ask the best questions and gets the best guests in the space. Dan the man

good points about NFT and the black shoals model, creating supply to meet the demand
How do taxes work with the lightening network? How would I track my cost basis? I assume they have a thing for this.

Bunch of amateurs. It’s because of the volatility.

Last LTC transaction took us 4 seconds. BTC took over 1 hour. LTC will only get better.
