Yes, most definitely talk to people who knows what they are doing. I didn’t know what I was getting into and watch a ton of UA-cam videos it helps big time. Saves you a ton of time and money. Good luck wish I knew a bunch about racing pigeons too but this is only my second year. I’m hoping to get some better looking colors and strains for our loft. Thanks for stopping by

Thank you for the comment! Yes, you are correct I should secure the trap a bit more, our three dogs probably scared off all the raccoons, all my surrounding neighbors have dogs I should be raccoon free but yes definitely changing some things around the loft soon.
You in a racing club? Simple and easy loft
Thanks, unfortunately I’m not in a club and don’t even know where to start to be honest with you, picked up the hobby last spring and it’s something I can see myself doing for a few years. I do plan to cull out some birds in the near future and purchase some better strains of birds and go from there, it’s some dedication to think about.
@@firstflightloft depends on where your located, ask your local club membership, and ask on Facebook forums if any fanciers are from your area who flies in a club, they should help you out, if not. Then just start with the best strains you can get and just do one loft racing. And just keep a flock in the yard for enjoyment .
