My gawd it's hard to keep up watching it just once. You really gotta watch it like at least 5 times to appreciate all the awesomeness. You're amazing at TAS'ing with 4 characters at once! Try doing 4 Ice Climbers and making it 8 on one stage! xD that should be challenging

Controlling 4 characters at the same time is nearly impossible for one person when you want these acting all the time. You just have two hands and this fact doesn't change in TAS ^^
Look at the [TAS] in the title of the video. That stands for "tool assisted," and can be done with many games. Essentially, they put a list of commands into the game, and watch it execute them perfectly. So no, not hacked, but designed to be an epic game.

Does catching a grenade and then using SideB somehow make Snake's grenade explode sooner? It certainly seems that way from TAS videos with Snake.

i cannot grasp the true power of versat's TAS.
While 4-player TASs are impressive, I enjoy 2-player ones more since I can focus on the entirety of the action.
Too many times where they were just standing still such as 1:17 (Fox and Snake) but other than that very nice. The ending was superb!
