James & I just finished watching this with huge smiles on our faces. ❤️ Thank you for the BEST day ever! We had so much fun with you. I’ll never forget that day. I love you guys so much! And yes it did feel like hanging out with friends! This video made me smile sooooo big.
And I love that you guys included the video chat from 3 years ago 🥺❤️
You are one lucky girl! glad you had a blast, too!
@@isabelletam2265 thank you so much!
That's so cool that you experienced that!
@@amberswift13 you are one lucky girl to live in ny.. i now ny is cool.. but wow... a fish carorsel.. wow.. and that m & m store..
I love that Luke calls Crystal "mom" every chance he gets, it makes me tear up because it's as if he's making up for lost times. So glad that Max got over his height fears for the amazing experience, so proud of him! And I was done when Alex started crying. Alex-you can make so many more "once in a lifetime" memories moreso now that you're an adult. The world is your playground, I said this before but will say it again-you deserve everything good in this world.
Max is so much his dad!
more like just tolerated his height fears.. lol
@@nancyfarkas3592 Did someone wrong you Nancy in your life? My comment was literally all positive but you somehow found a way to spin it.
@@nancyfarkas3592 Again, you don't really read do you? I asked if someone wronged you? Has nothing to being a crybaby or butthurt. You also didn't read my first comment with 518 likes carefully. You assumed and spinned things around without a care. So, someone must have wronged you that you're into spreading negativity.
@@nancyfarkas3592 You know why I got so many likes? Positivity is everything, spread that instead of negativity.
My original comment mentioned Luke calls Crystal "mom", every chance he gets. It was NOT, Luke calls Crystal "mom"...period. There's a huge difference. Even more so, Luke is adopted so to me and to many others, it was special to be able to call someone you love and trust "Mom". Now for example, Luke could say simply "Thank you" without the "Mom" part but he seems to prefer "Thank you Mom". Do you see the difference here? It can't get any more clearer than that.
Your comments seem like you want to be a jerk just for the sake of being a jerk. Again, why? Someone must have wronged you. It would be like if someone said "aurora is so cute", and someone said "of course, she's cute, why wouldn't she be cute?". To me, those type of responses don't belong anywhere. Should we all just keep quiet and be afraid to awake captain obvious or whatever kick you're on? The answer is NO...what's plain to you might be special to others, so it's best to be respectful without coming in hot and then trying to play others as being butthurt. You can't have it both ways.
Alex is seriously one of the sweetest, kindest, most gracious human beings on the face of the planet.
Alex's friend , please forgive me for forgetting your name, what a kind and warming gesture you did by keeping your arm around Max's shoulder,in the elevator.
Bless all of you.
his friend's name is james!! :D
I thought that too, James is awesome!
Yes, I thought that was so kind of him to do that. Support his friend. Most male teens would not have done that. Just shows that he truly cares for his friend and doesn’t care what others think. You’re an awesome friend James! 💕💕
I like how Luke immediately stops with jumping when told and when he realized it affects max's fear like even after he stop he directly told him, "i'll stop" to reassure him. Also, the way James stayed beside max and held him throughout the elevator ride is very considerate.
I'm so proud of Max for overcoming his fears. He was so scared but he opened his eyes to not miss the experience. I love it that James comforted him. I'm happy for Alex! yay!
Crystal is such a ball of joy here. Definitely looks like she’s having even more fun than everyone. 🤣
Actually that's true
"What the heck yo!"😀😀
From your mum. She's the coolest . And max is growing really fast
She deserves it. To do this for her kids is awesome. Such a gem.
sorry but james comforting max in the second lift got me so supportive everyone needs a james
I'm surprised that Max went cause he is a homebody but he's having fun. The scenes from the 80th floor on up r fantastic. There's no way I would have went up. I'm scared of heights. Glad everyone had a great time. It was good u could meet Amber.
I love how excited Crystal gets over everything! That ability to see things like a child is so precious. You all look like you’re having a wonderful trip, thanks for sharing it with us. x
When your kids actually appreciate what you do for them is the greatest feeling . I love that Alex shows his emotions the way he does !
“What the heck yo” I DIED LMAO I love when crystal starts saying things the kids do
Why did the hug that lady at the Empire State building look like it just felt soooo good and genuine!
I love that!!! ❤️
Yeah it did, looked tight enough but quick too
I first visited New York City in 2008, I was on a trip with my mum (I’m Australian), then I went back again in 2013 by myself, and what I didn’t know at the time was I met my husband on that trip and ended up moving back there 2 years later to get married.
I understand Alex getting emotional. NYC is a beautiful, magical city. There’s just something about it. It’ll forever have a special place in my heart. I get emotional thinking about my first time there too.
I understand Alex’s tears of joy. I dream of living in the city. Just visiting the city makes me so happy to just see the lights, streets, cars, people, just everything. It’s something that some people think its weird that I have this love for the city. When I find someone else who understands it’s nice to talk about the feeling that the city gives you.
Aw seeing Alex cry makes my heart cry, he’s so sweet 😢
@Abnormal The Clown 🤣🤣
Aww it hurt my heart to see Alex cry 😭😭 Alex wanted to go to New York since foster care and his parents make that happen to him❤️❤️🥰. What is more special that he go with is forever mom and brothers 👏👏
I have looked into adopting teenagers. I have always wanted to adopt boys and after seeing this video I am 100% convinced that I am meant to be a boys mom🌟🌟
Same here I feel like I meant to adopt boys
You will be a great mom to them.
Me too!!!! I have one son and he's my world!!!!
Anyone else tear up when Alex had that tender moment with Crystal? So proud of Max facing his fears of heights!
I started crying when Alex started crying
Crystal and Aaron you two are amazing people thank you for adopting these children and giving them the life that they were dreaming about I can't wait to meet the 3 new kids can see the smiles and enjoy that you put on their faces too
Lots of love from me in Wisconsin all the way to you all 💕💕💕💕💕💕
They need to adopt 100 children!!!
@@annsandberg2199 right!! 😊
Ann Sandberg no they said after they done adopting the 3 kids they are done adopting
@@ashleecollinsworth9279 true but they have said that before
I'm from Wisconsin too
Fun in NYC!!!! My hometown, but it has changed a lot. Fun fact: my mother was secretary to one of the architects of the Empire State Building and she and my father met in Times Square!
I'm from Queens, NY....born and raised. I could see Alex fell in love with our city. He should consider becoming a teacher and a coach here one day! He would be one of the NYC teachers that literally changes his students lives. So many of us have such difficult home lives and school is an escape. Alex would be able to reach his students. He would give them hope that life gets better.
It’s genuinely so heartwarming as a 28 year old to watch someone younger experience a dream for the first time. I remember when I was young visiting NYC, the bright lights, tall buildings, bustling streets made this small town girl feel like the possibilities were endless and I had the world in front of me. Living for the hope of it all! You could see all of that in Alex’s eyes and I know he’s got a bright future ahead. ✨ you’re incredible, Crystal!
Crystal I love how you get so excited to spend time and create memories with your children. Alex is so sweet and I love how appreciative he is of what you do.
As a New Yorker when I saw Alex crying I was worry thinking that he had a bad experienced but when I finished watching the video I was so happy I said to myself " Alex will love to live in New York" I hope you had a great experience in the big apple. I don't see myself living anywhere else but New York. I love you guys .
I love y’all and not being raised in a healthy home being raised by drug addict and being physically abused everyday I watch your channel so I know how a family should love❤️
Oh dear… if you really are being physically abused you need to reach out and call a help line. Don’t stay in a situation like that… please ❤️
@@AnnikaJoy thank you I’m 20 now and lived on my own since I was 18 but yah it used to be an everyday thing ,, watching them makes me realize hm a parent should love and helps me know how I want to raise my kids in the future ❤️
@DanielleRamirez I'm SO sorry to hear that you're going through this! 😭 I agree. Reach out for help, for sure. ;)
@@oregami227701 glad to hear you are not living in that environment anymore. Stay safe, Jesus loves you ❤️
I used to be abused too by my mom but my dad stepped up and kicked her out of the house and he raised me till I was 10 then he died so now I almost got put in foster care
Also, you can tell how much Lucas has opened up. He is like a completely different kid than when we first met him he was so shy and reserved and you can tell he feels like he's right where he's supposed to be. His loving home with his amazing family whom love him and the others so so much! I LOVE it!!! Also, Lucas. I bet he'd be an architect or construction worker of some type. He seems like he's always helping to build stuff. He seems very smart! I see a very bright future ahead of him and the others!!! Can't wait to see what they do as they grow up!!
I hope Alex NEVER changes. He has such a sweet heart, and wears it on his sleeve. You don't see that with a lot of young men, and it's refreshing. I really like getting to just come along with this trip. I've never been to NY because due to someone getting sick last minute, we had to cancel our trip, and it's been years since then, and I've still not been able to go. Someday though. Sometimes your dreams can take a while to come true.
Seeing Alex cry hurts my heart ♥️ he such a sweet young man💜
Max you did so well for someone who doesn’t like heights. My heart was pounding palms sweating just watching this vlog 😨🥵. What a wonderful trip you all are having.
And, awww..... LOVE that Max got a "New York Hug" from that sweet lady.❤ And, at the end when we got to see Alex self reflecting, realizing how blessed he is. ❤❤❤❤
I truly feel Max's trepidation and felt his inner pain at knowing how high he was going. I too have Acrophobia, where height is not my friend; however, I am getting better at dealing with it as I get older. Bravo Max for conquering your fear and not letting it control you. You are an amazing young man. 😊👍
james putting his hands around max because he"s scared is so cute and sweet
at 26:18
So proud of Max, conquering his fear of heights. I got the willies just watching the video and had to turn away a few times! My fear is very strong. So glad Alex had a dream come true! If he decides to change ideas for his future, working for the airlines is a great way to travel the world for FREE!
Watching this reminds me of when my grandma took me on her annual trip to NY and I miss it all so much. It was so fun to watch this, reminisce, and almost experience these same emotions again
I love that you get excited about things! That’s what makes you even more lovable! Hugs to Alex he is such a sweetheart
My heart melts for Alex. He is so sweet and grateful. And Crystal, you’re such a fun and amazing mother! You’re the most thoughtful person. I could tell that even if the money wasn’t there you would do what u could to keep a smile on your kids’ faces.
That moment with you and Alex hit me right in the feels. I love seeing you enjoy NYC. I live on Long Island so have been to the City so many times. Crystal i am glad you get to experience these firsts with Lucas!! Love you all!!
Max cracks me up " the lady with the torch "
so glad y’all got to get out and celebrate Alex and James
and James
Crystal has such a cute personality, I love how she makes sure each of her children know they are special. Also her thinking some experiences are so cool,, is all of us, its the little things in life.
Max dealt with his fear so well
The view from the 102nd floor looked so amazing ! 😊😊
Alex must have loved the trip !
When Alex hugged Crystal I lost it. The tears 😭 was flowing. Lol that was really so caring and loving between a mom and Son. I loved it.
When Alex got emotional I also became emotional. I couldn’t help but think that Alex’s life (and all your children’s lives) could have been very different if he wasn’t adopted into your family. He is an amazing young man and has overcome so much in his life. This trip is something he dreamt about for a long time and something he thought would never been possible living in foster care and group homes. There is no doubt that his adoption changed his life in a big way and was able to make his dreams come true.
Alex is awesome! I like his energy, manners ECT. Congrats Alex so glad you got to go visit NYC!!!
What a fun day! I love James helping Max relax, he really is just like one of the siblings. Alex getting emotional was sweet.
I loved this video!! I’m a single mom and love to watch these kids experience amazing places. And Crystal, please don’t ever stop including the “little details” bc they are true and honest, and I love it!! I would be the same as way!! Glad you all had fun and congrats to Alex again!!! 🙏🏼❤️
The way Alex appreciate you and always feeling so grateful is sooo touching
I've been with y'all since the beginning and being able to see another viewer meet you all just made my day! I hope to be able to meet you all one day as well💜
I am so glad that Alex had the tripod a lifetime! ❤️
My grandfather came into Ellis Island where The STATUE OF LIBERTY is when coming to the United States. His name is on the list there! He came from England in 1850
How is ist possible that your grandfather lived in 1850? How old are you lol
It’s not that hard to believe. The last civil war pension recipient only died last summer. If he came over at a young-ish age and had kids later in life and they had kids later in life, it is possible
@@celiamay2757 it is true!! He was 56 years old. My mother died 17 years at a ripe old age. Yes it is possible . I never met him because he had passed away several years before I was born!!!
@@jesstouhill1625 it is true!
It’s possible, my dad is 50 and his grandfather was born in 1890 so if someone was much older than him, it’s possible!
Awe! I thoroughly enjoyed watching all of you smiling almost every time... N Max is kinda cute with his reaction when he was scared being in an elevator... N Crystal is such a pure soul that brings smile n joy to everybody in the family... Love you all ❤️❤️❤️🙌🙌🙌
This was so touching. KRYSTAL. I could feel your love for Max with just that hug. Amoung other actions that you show so much love as a mother to all the children. And it is so evident that your love is genuinely given from the heart like you delivered all of them. Now that is a loving big heart that you both show thar it makes me of 53 want to be your daughter. Lol how about an auntie Jackie! Live in Nanny. Love you guys! Xox
Alex, your emotion got my heart. It also brought me back to a once in a life time trip! I was 12 when I went into foster care. My foster mom was from London England. They had their trip already planned. Being a foster child, I was under our County supervision. Some very amazing, anonymous people contacted my judge. My gramma gave me $250.00 and my plane ticket💞 some other gracious people gave me money as well. I was there for a whole month.
I’m almost 58 and my son 37, is a MST. Sergeant in AF.
I’m so unbelievably blessed that he has paid for once in a life time trips.
You’re going to see more amazing places. 🤗🤗
I love your family!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
It’s uncanny how much Lucas and Max resemble each other! Happy senior trip Alex & James! Love our Crazies!
I love crazy pices family tell Alex is okay I love him bottom of my heart ❤️ I always cheer him up hi awww Alex don't cryyyy ....
James was SO sweet with Max. Max, SUPER proud of you for facing your fears. You. Are. AMAZING. ❤
Alex getting emotional made me cry. I'm so happy he got his dream trip.
It’s very cool for me to think that you were standing in the same place my great grandparents walked thru when they came from Norway .
My family’s Norwegian too.
LOL The bottom knobs are for the bath tub. ETA. Ten mins in, this is such a fun video. It feels like we're on vacay with you. Thanks for sharing your fun trip!
I love that your reaction to new experiences is as innocent and exciting as the kids. It bothers me that anyone would comment that you get over-excited by simple things. I actually think that is what makes your family so unique. They appreciate simple things as much as they do the big things. Stay that way. We don't experience things the same way or with the same enthusiasm. As Oscar Wilde once said, "Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken. "
Thank you! I never thought that I would get to see New York City. You have no idea. I really enjoyed the whole Statue of Liberty tour. Max,you are not alone. Elevators in tall buildings make me ill. I even get sick when I am high up in an indoor arena. I am fine in outdoor stadiums where I can feel the wind.
So happy for Alex that he gets to experience his dream vacation. I love that he is so grateful and he is not afraid to show his emotions.
James is sooo sweet comforting Max when he was scared going into and in the elevator 💜
Thank you for taking us to New York, I was there when I was Alex’s age and in awe as he was. I am 73 and would love to go back, but it’s far away from Ohio!
I feel ya Max, I don’t do heights. Even some of the footage y’all got made me anxious.
I just was watching some of your older videos. Its so cute that Alex was calling for his "Rose" on the boat and shortly after he meets Savannah from New York! How cool!
It’s so heartwarming to see how appreciative everyone is. New York is a dream of mine too and I’m so happy about y’all having a great time. You sure deserve it!!!🤍
I love how excited you get about things crystal! It's such a blessing to be able to appreciate the world fully!
I love what you do I am 17 I have been in foster care since I was 10 x
I pray that you find the love and warmth of a family. Always remember that you are deserving and worthy of all that life has to offer!! You are special and you matter🙏🌟🌷
I was close to being put in foster care when I was 10 but my grandparents stepped up and let me live with them now am 18 going to be 19 in January
thank you for showing ellis island, my husbands family came from poland thru their in the very early 1900's and it was so interesting to see!!!
Am sure Lucas loves calling you Mom☺️
You guys are like angels sent from heaven to heal broken people and spread hope, love and peace. Love you all and may God bless you! ❤🤗🙏
For breakfast, I would recommend bagels! Either with lox and cream cheese or bacon egg and cheese. Cream cheese bagels are also good.
Thank you for taking us along to see New York so beautiful!!
Max looks so much like Aaron just a younger version
I thought that watching this too
Cause max is their Biological son.
Loved going along with y’all. Max was sooooo brave! Lucas is a prankster. Alex is soooo grateful. I had tears, also.
James was so kind to max in the elevator . Love u all.❤❤
Aww Alex you earned this once in a lifetime trip 💕 it's ok to cry I just love you all very much
I hope you guys enjoyed your trip, looks like you had a blast!
I love this family. They are always so appreciative of everything. So blessed ♥️
The moment that Alex got emotional, made this trip 1000000000000% worth every penny you spent on it!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
That double cone looked so good! Never seen one before.
Max should have had his color blind glassses on when he was in the M and M store. to see the true colors of all the m and ms
Thank you for 'taking mean this trip with you. I laughed so many times. "Wake up." I have wanted to go to see all these sites in New York too. I have ancestors who came through Ellis Island. The Statue of Liberty, WOW. I think was smiling through both videos of you leaving and making it to New York and this video. My heart was with you. This was fun seeing things through all your eyes. I learned so much and saw so much. This is the best . Crystal I would love to hang around you for the day. I love to get excited about things and sometimes I feel silly.
Awhhh so sweet Alex 😭😍
I also was raised by a single mom and had barely left my home state until my mid 20s, and even now have only left a few times because money is always tight. So I totally understand the little things being super cool to you! I'm going to see Tipper play at Red Rocks in 3 weeks and I've never been to Colorado so I'm sooo excited I could cry and I honestly probably will! Something makes me a little grateful for growing up just getting by because it makes you really appreciate things more.
Red Rocks is amazing! Hope you have a great time!
Everytime you do something funny like trips, going to venues, parties ect, I think in Lucas and Savannah, Lucas must be over the moon so do the rest of the family but thinking how was their live just a year ago. It's inspiring.
Loved seeing everyone so happy love it
I LOVE CRAZY PIECES to PIECES!
Crystal, you really try to make every moment memorable and so fun… do you ever get down and need someone to pick you up and encourage you? Your joy is contagious!
I literally wish I could have met y’all Im in NJ so next time you guys are in the area will definitely try and meet you all!!!
This family never stop to impress me.....hands down to the parents....not looking at the trip and everything but its all about the bonding .....amazing..how the kids appreciate of your loving and attention to their need....their dream...they came from the feel lost families....and now ..creating this ..its such a wonderful feeling to see aaron and crystal give the upmost to their dream for having you as their parents...they feel blessed ...living like a normal kid in your family...surrounded by the love ones...God bless you....hug and pray from your indonesian fans
Alex - in that moment you felt the hand of God reach out to you - letting you know that everything you been through led you to that exact moment and he just telling you know that you are EXACTLY (& going) where you're meant to be (and go in this life). Divine intervention...is so moving, I cried too. I felt it just watching you. Crystal...no words on the magical, miracle you are. You (and Aaron too) literally on an angel(s) on earth. If the human race could just hv a could sprinkle of that Petit magic...wow, what a wonderful world it would be.... ❤❤❤
How blessed they all are to have you as their mom! You give them so much joy! Love your beautiful family 💕

So proud of Max!!! ❤
Amber looks a little bit like Savannah! Glad you guys had a wonderful time & the weather was super during your visit!🗽
Aw really? Ty!
The way your family loves and supports one another is very touching to me! I didn't have that, so it is nice to see love like this exists in families! Also, it is apparent how loved, accepted, and valued the teen boys feel with how open they are with their feelings and affection! :-) It was touching to me, too, that Alex was so touched by the trip you folks shared with him; he is a loving and kind soul! It would be awesome for me to spend a day with all of you! love, Bob
from someone that lives in NYC, most houses and apartments don't have four knobs in the shower, usually just one or two.
I own a house that is 123 years old ,, in Brooklyn and we have the 4 knobs in the shower ,, funny isn't. ,Got to love NYC
What a huge gift for Alex. To take his siblings and friend. They did so much in one day....how can you take this all in. I understand Alex, it is a lot. The experience is the best gift of a life time....
