    Thank You I think I got! This is the best video so far to me, for a traveler's notebook tutorial. Thanks for sharing.

    OMG, this is genius! I know I'm super late in finding this video but thank you so much for making this! I like to switch systems and it gets expensive to buy several different types/sizes of covers. This will allow me to switch back and forth between bound/traveler's easily and it's so pretty too!

    This is genius!!!! I have so many folio covers I don’t use as often as I’d like because I’m usually in a TN, and this is a perfect solution for them. Thanks for sharing 💗

    I really like the way this turned out! You could change out the bottom base page and have a different look any time! Awesome idea!

    Amazon sells clear plastic placemats for cheap! I have made tn inserts like this, for A5’s, B6’s, and A6’s. They’re strong and don’t lose shape when you punch holes and add elastic. They easily move to whichever cover you’re using. Much less work. 😊

    Great video! I love Moterms and have made TN inserts for A5, B6, and A6 sizes. So fun to have more options.😊

    Love the innovation! I have a cover that I wanted to use as a tn, but didn’t want to punch it. I will be using your method. Thanks for the video ❤️

    I got acetate from HoneyBShop’s Babe Box and in a loss of what to do with them.
    Thank you for sharing this project! I might do the same.

    Also, do you sell these? Or are open to making a custom order for one? I don't have all the tools (laminator, laminator sheets, corner rounder, specific strong hole punch, elastic, etc.) and those tools can add up for items that I wouldn't use frequently otherwise.

    • @scrapcraftastic
      @scrapcraftastic  Місяць тому

      I don't sell them. You really don't need all the tools I used. I used them because I have them for my other crafts. You could use a small amount of elastic and a piece of acetate from the open stock at that craft store or s self sealing laminate pouch. You can trim and round corners with Scissors and make your holes with a small screwdriver, metal tool or the tip of your scissors. I hope this helps.

    Thanks for sharing ! I was thinking of doing this to my cover and wondered if anyone had done it! Would the cute paper with the dots and laminate be sturdy enough?

    • @scrapcraftastic
      @scrapcraftastic  Рік тому

      Yes, it's a little too sturdy actually. I've also done it by laminating only one side of the scrapbook cardstock, and I liked it better. It also depends on if your laminate is 3mil or 5mil.

      Interesting. I purchased a clear placemat that I thought I might try - it’s so flimsy I don’t even know how it’s a placemat! lol, but if you think the paper and laminate may be to thick it may not work. Do you think a general rule is that if you can bend whatever medium one is using in the middle to determine the holes for the elastic it should be ok?

    • @scrapcraftastic
      @scrapcraftastic  Рік тому

      @colleenmeakins4778 it depends. If you want the cover to stay closed without the closure in use then you want something that's a little more pliable. If the cover popping open doesn't bother you, then the weight or thickness of what you use won't matter as long as the holes are sturdy.
