I used to live and race XC out of Steamboat and that used to be one of our training rides on hardtails no less and as a loop from town. Boy have things changed but it's still a great technical test even if you shuttle it which is way more civilized! Great video. Sorry about the finger.
Training that will no doubt make you a better rider! Can’t imagine how rough it would be on a hardtail, respect to you for that. Fingers doing pretty ok at this point but is still a reminder to choose better lines and fully commit to them haha!

Glad you enjoyed it! There’s always something a little magical about riding bikes and I’m glad I could spread that stoke. I just got into it this last summer too, and it’s provided some of the most amazing experiences and friendships!

Grew up riding that trail when it was nothing but hardtails on the market. It was pure XC then.
Mad respect for riding that on a hardtail! My tail hurts just thinking about it!!
